My dogs Kona the husky and Tiki the mix love Jo-Mar they get tons of attention and time in the kiddie pool and get their daily walks and lots of love - plus they come home smelling delicious after the bath they receive- I would highly recommend for overnight boarding -

We were nervous about boarding our bulldog because we've had negative experiences in the past at other places.. This place was absolutely amazing and Cathy who's a bulldog and all around dog lover was totally fantastic with our dog. It put my mind at ease while we were away for 2 weeks. We had photos and updates sent to us and he was groomed as well.Thank you Jo Mar staff and Cathy! 💕

They take real good care of my two doggos, whether grooming or boarding. Everyone is friendly and professional. They do a real nice job with the final shaping of the fur to suit the dog s shape. Nice work.

Amazing first experience! Very friendly staff, you can just tell that everyone working there loves animals and wants the best for your dog. I took my 3 year old Golden for a full groom and he came out perfectly. The pricing was very reasonable and I will definitely be taking him back and highly recommend Jo-Mar to anyone needing a great local groomer!

I took my puppy there for the first time. The receptionist was so nice when I made the appointment.It was a great experience. When I got there the groomer Peter came out to talk to me about the kind of cut I wanted. He was so helpful. He held my puppy and handled him so affectionately. I felt very comfortable leaving him there. When I picked him up I was so happy. He did a fantastic job. My puppy looked so handsome!! I will definitely recommend them to everyone. I give 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!!

This place is great! My dog always comes home clean and happy from JoMar. The staff is very nice and eager to clean and play with my dog. They do a great job bathing my english bulldog and the prices are very fair.

Brought my dog in for the first time to get groomed, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I didn't know exactly what my wife had in mind for the dog , so they walked me through it and I made an executive decision with a lot of help from the front desk clerk. They did a fantastic job on the hair, thank you very much.

The people who work here took excellent care of my dog & gave him personal treatment, like he was a superstar. He got at least 2 walks a day when he stayed over night, & was washed & groomed when I picked him up. I don't like leaving him with others, but these people I trust & do recommend them.

Jo Mar is an amazing place to bring your dog. We would board our dog there, and when we get another dog I will also board with them. They were so kind to stay late when my flight was delayed with no extra charge and send me videos and pictures. We love Jo Mar!!

Everyone is wonderful there. True family feeling. The store is clean, Scot is very good for grooming big dogs(GoldenDoodle , 85 Lbs) They love your dog as their own.

They social distance to 1 person inside while you stand outside and wait. Me and my pup waited outaode for 20 minutes. Once inside while the others wait outside the people are unfriendly. They dont tell you that rabies arent enough before you get there. Now you have to leave because they didnt tell me they needed distemper too. I went to new hyde bark. They ask for rabies and are very friendly...good pricing and Raina is amazing. What a mwss.

I brought two dogs there before - a shih-tzu and a maltese. Both cuts were GREAT and the prices are as well.My one bone to pick with them was when I brought my dog and told them short and they left him long because the groomer just rushed into the front and grabbed the dog to the back without actually really listening to what I wanted to say. I ended up driving there, seeing my dog's hair being way too long, asked them to re-do it and had to drive home and wait for another 2 hours to pick him up. If she has listened to me the first time, then it wouldn't have been a problem.The staff kinda seems hungry for tips and seems to stand around a bit waiting for you to give something to them. They also book up VERY fast and one of the people who books the appointments doesn't seem to be too bright - doesn't know when the appointments are and puts you on hold for a REALLY long time.Even with all that, I would bring my dogs there again because of the great cuts and shapes they gave them.

Beyond horrible experience! Made an appt to drop my dog at 9 with pickup at 12. I called at 1:30, they told me he would be ready at 4. Unacceptable!! Told them I would be there at 2 he better be ready. Still waited 15 mins for him.My poor puppy looked awful......I told them puppy cut as he is a Shitzu. He was scalped and his ears are so short they don't lay flat. Seriously, my 6 yr old could have done better. Will NOT be returning and will make sure people are aware this is NOT the only groomer in town.
