Great pharmacy--well stocked; friendly helpful staff. I had to visit this store after horrible Garden City pharmacy was out of stock of a critical med for my wife. It took a while for the prescription to arrive from the doctor and once it did, they processed it right away so I could get back home to my wife.I'll switch my prescriptions here even though it's a 20 minute ride from our house!

Was asked to fill out survey after an issue with pharmacy. But I think I should make it clear- general store is well managed, nice help and well stocked. So Thank you Angela for being such a responsible manager. Looking forward to picking up a few more Easter items for grandchildren. Issue was in pharmacy, with 2 week return policy. But I was not returning only asking for price adjustment. After numerous tries and supervisor out but we were told she will be in, perhaps another person could have had some authority as most companies do, and that is another suggestion. I had to file a report with corporate. Unfortunately, husband meds picked up a day after major hacking of copays cards etc. Should have been $0 but he was charged $120. I understand delay but CVS will eventually get back $ so should loyal pharmacy patronsI am sure CVS corporate will help out awaiting their reply.. In the meantime, I suggest 2 different surveys for general store and pharmacy. In the meantime, I will be going to CVS again in the next few days.

i bought a apple gift card in this place and when i went home to to redeem it, it won’t work, apparently they said they can’t do nothing about it and i had to contact apple for it. I went to buy a 100$ Visa Gift Card again at this place and went to try to redeem it, Once again the card doesn’t work. I don’t know if they ever activate my gift card but PLEASE don’t waste money on gift cards in this place, it’s a total waste and it was difficult for me to get my money back.

called and was told prescription is ready drove there they had the drive through shut down ... wait in a long line give information for pick up to be told order is not ready ... this cvs is disgraceful shelves are never stocked . such incompetence.

CVS Routinely attempts to overcharge me for prescription medicine I use that is not covered by my insurance. One time I called the CVS pharmacy and the auto-response told me I have two scripts ready and the total was over $1100. When I called back and asked the pharmacist, she confirmed that the price was correct. I asked how is that possible if it cost me $27 at another local drug store last month for the same medicine. I was told that this is the price CVS charges for that medicine and they couldn't do anything about it. So a national chain that sells mega quantities of a drug can't match or beat the price I get from a local independent pharmacy? There's something wrong here. Last week I went in and was told my normal $66 price for one of my medicines was going to cost $130+ this month. Until I asked if they applied the Good RX coupon, then the price was lowered to $66. I mean, really CVS? That they are so greedy they will attempt to rob consumers instead of giving their best price is disturbing. Buyer beware, they will rob you if you let them!

The worst of the worst, especially the pharmacy! Better off going to CVS in Bellrose or CVS in Franklin Square, BIG difference! They treat my special needs son and I with respect and have time for us. So happy I no longer deal with them.They (the pharmacists) really need to work on their customer service skills especially with their profession. Very bad!

Disturbing & Pathetic Behavior at the Minute Clinic:I'm writing this review related to the Minute Clinic at this location. It's been 24 hours I'm severely disturbed because of the awful and degrading experience I had yesterday.I had an appointment at 6:30 pm for A1C Diabetes Management Test. There were only two staff ladies at the clinic who were very disrespectful and their attitude towards me was very humiliating the moment I stepped inside the clinic.I wanted to pay for the test out of pocket and the lady didn't even know how to use the system, neither she knew the prices. She (staff) along with her other colleague (doctor), their tone was also very harsh and agitated, both were not ready to listen to what I was trying to say. They kept on yelling at me to go for a complete medical exam worth $400-500 bucks whereas I was respectfully trying to tell them that I went through CVS website there is a separate A1C test that they can perform which is only $59. Honestly, the way they treated me was very hurtful and I just stood up and left the clinic.Very high volume and humiliating facial expressions as if I'm an alien asking for something impossible.

I usually pick up my medicine at elmont location but they close early. I came to this pharmacy and picked up my Carvedilol meds for the heart ❤️ and the pharmacist, aka Julia, studied my profile and realized I use inhalers for COPD and notified me that this particular medicine causes bronchial spasms and to speak with my doctor about changing this medication for another type that doesn't cause that side effect . Julia is the first Pharmacist I noticed who took the time to make me aware of this. I give her 2 thumbs 👍 for her support and customer service.

I want to pick up my prescription on Monday October 29th I was there around 20 after 1:00 the pharmacy said we're closed as they were taken care of a customer in a rotten nasty voice they should have training on courtesy and respect for the people

This CVS is horrible! The shelves are empty have the time. The Pharmacy is the worst I have ever been to. The tech’s are extremely rude and not helpful at all. I get a txt saying my RX is ready, go to pick up they say oh It’s not ready. They are constantly letting me know at the last minute They have to order one of my medication’s.

I will never shop at this CVS again. I have been shopping at the CVS for many years and have seen it’s decline. The store is filthy, and never restocks basic items. The staff is deplorable, extremely rude and the current manager is unfit to manage. Prices go up, CVS profits go up, and service goes down. We all deserve better.

Called the pharmacy for an inquiry and was told pharmacist is on 4 different lines. They also only get 30mins lunch break which is barely a break. Bottom line is the pharmacist at CVS is overworked and customer service will not be on par unless CVS hires more pharmacists. I would expect better from CVS...

Service sucks. Was in drive thru to pick up meds after receiving texts that my prescription was ready. The pharmacy tech told me that I didn’t have any meds ready. My husband came back after few days after receiving another texts that they hold my meds for another 4 days. Again, same thing. No meds ready.Finally, I came back and I had to wait more than half an hour to pick up my meds via drive- thru. I would definitely change my pharmacy.

The pharmacy is horrid. I just drove 40 minutes on lunch to go pick up medications, was waiting on line. Finally they get up to me and tell me the pharmacy is closed for break and walked away. There was nobody behind me, all she had to do was charge me for 3 medications that i got a text ready. I can't come back until Sunday (3 days away) and they'll probably give me a problem because "it's too late." Ridiculous

Scam Alart CVS. They provide counterfeit (fake money) next day , i talk to the manager he took the fake money and gave me real money. These store have had same issues with others. Be cautious when you transaction with cash

This place doesn’t even deserve a star. My mom continues to call and they continue to hang up why not just answer the phone and speak you d***k ITS YOUR JOB!!!!I wrote the above post on February 9. I visited the store on February 10 and by faith I met the store manager Karen. Karen was busy multitasking and delegating. But she took the time to cater to myself and my family. Her professionalism and attention to detail was superb. When I left the store I forgot how angry I was “at CVS”. Thank you Karen for personally Managing the issue and resolving it for us and “not passing the buck”. Thank you for actually caring and taking the time to listen.

Called Pharmacy department several times, waited on hold and no answer. Went into Pharmacy department and extremely slow. This has happened time after time. Why a department that brings in Billions of dollars a year is under staffed?

I would have given a negative star if I could. I have been a long time customer at this location and the new pharmacists are very rude, impatient and "NEVER NEVER NEVER" answers the call. They will straight transfer you to the automated service. I have personally seen him doing when I'm waiting to pickup my medicine as well.He is just lazy of putting the work behind and tell the customers "sorry we are busy." Maram the pharmacist before him was great and was always there to answer your questions and knew customer service. This new pharmacist Sam is terrible in every way.

If I could give this CVS zero rating i would! They are rude over the phone. The pharmacy hang up on u n when you try to get a manager they're not around. If you go in person its different but over the phone they are awful. They use to not charge for delivery of medicine and now they charge more then the copay. Go to another place!

Phone answering system beyond ridiculous. A simple 30 second question that was easily answerable by pharmacy staff turned into a ten minute aggravation. You need to put an option up front to talk to a real person. 1 star until that's changed.

This CVS, specifically the pharmacy, has neglected numerous emails from my medical providers, refused to pick up the phone in spite of my sitting on hold for over twenty minutes four different times in the last week, and has overall proven to be staffed by an incompetent team that does not have its patients interests in mind by any stretch of the imagination. It is a shame that 0 stars is not an option.

I understand that there is a pandemic going on but i think its absurd that the CVS pharmacy in Mineola were able to pick up my phone calls when i called them twice by mistake. However, since i moved out here and switched pharmacies now i am using this inadequate pharmacy. They placed me on hold 5 times for 20 mins today and never picked up so I went in person to ask a simple question then they decided to close the pharmacy when i was up next on line. HORRIBLE customer service! Smh

Employees are sweet and friendly. Management is lacking tho! Inventory is NOT done well so they often run out of items that are regularly purchased.... which is plain stupid. (like Poland Spring water!) The store's convenient tho and someone will almost always run to the back to check if your item is simply not restocked and bring it out to you if that's the case. Unsure why inventory seems to be such an issue here - for YEARS and with different managers. I still go here frequently because of convenience to me. Would NEVER go here if another drug store was equally convenient - Walgreens, Harmons, CVS. The Pharmacy is well run - so it's great for getting your prescriptions filled.

Worst CVS EVER! Store looks like it's going out of business. Shelves are always empty and not restocked. Why are the CVS stores in Manhattan so nice and neat and fully stocked and not this CVS??? If insurance did not force me to come here for my Rx meds I would not step foot in this store EVER.

Cvs is okay when they want to be. For example, they are good for if you want to run in and pick up a few things but when it comes to ordering and picking your prescriptions they always find a way to screw it up, like today for example. Went in today to pick 2 prescriptions, 1 was ready and the other wasn't and I kept on telling them and I really need other more because it's more important than the other and I also knew that they have been working on the other for over a week or more and still why wasn't it ready?

Hi , I have called cvs for my medication which is for my blood pressure, the lady said tht it's scheduled for Feb mid sometime. I explained her that I am an hypertensive person n waiting tht long will only aggravate my condition. In return I was told to call my doc and ask for a new proscription. Getting to doctors in this pandemic is very difficult. Not understanding my problem, the lady refused me my medication. Wherelse this is my pharmacy for 2 years now. My Bp read 205/112. Writing here so that ppl understand that this is not ice cream or burger I am asking for . It's my medication

This store does not care about opening on time. It is supposed to open at 8am but I was there at 8:05am today and it was locked tight with no sign of any employee. You might think that is a one time thing but it's not. I don't go to this store often but a year or two ago I went on consecutive Sundays and the store was still closed at 8am and did not open until almost 9. That's a pattern and I see it's still the same. How can a major chain like CVS tolerate unreliable employees that make the entire chain look bad? I wrote a complaint to CVS when the store did not open twice a few years ago and I got a call back from the manager who really couldn't care less, said that one employee didn't show up so they couldn't open up with less than two employees for security reasons. I can understand that but if your employees repeatedly don't show up for work on time and you cannot open the store on time, fire that employee and hire someone who will come to work on time.
