This store is very nice and large. There was a wide variety of items in each department. The bakery section had cupcakes, cakes, cookies and cheesecakes. The wine selection is nice as well. The prices were reasonable. There were a couple of good brands on sale. The produce department is large and there was a large variety of fruits and veggies. Everything looked fresh and seeing all the different colors arranged so beautifully was delight to my eyes.

Quick visit to use to use the bottle return. Clean store. Customer service was very nice. The maintenance guy took care of the machine problems very promptly. The service in the bottle return office was OK. This was my first time doing bottle returns so the smell in that area was unbearable I would recommend wearing a mask in there! Bring gloves and wipes! Other than that no complaints.

Amazing bakery department. I ordered cupcakes for my daughter's party and they were so nice to make them like the picture I showed them. Everyone is so kind and respectful I love ordering from this bakery.

If there was a 0 star option i would give it. I just had the most god awful experience in this store. I made a deli order at 450pm to be picked up at 530 to 600 pm. I got there a little early to go shopping as well at about 545pm i was done shopping so i sat and waited by the deli counter to wait for my order. At about 558pm my app said it was ready. I went to check and it wasn't there. So i asked this very rude and angry deli guy goes by the name Fred and he was rude right off the bat saying they were short handed and then told me i was over the line. He wouldn't let me get a word in and then said to me as i was walking away "dont test me bro" so i go get the manager and i told him what happened then another customer overheard me and happen to be right there and said he was rude and unprofessional. I told him i didn't want anything Fred cut and i wanted the whole order redone by someone else. I watched the new guy cut one package of meat and gave me 4 packages. I told him i wanted everything redone and he said yes i just did this all. No way he just did all that in 2 minutes. I then qent back to get the manager again and i told him i don't want to come back here ever again and he offered me a 20 dollar gift card. I just wanted my product the way i asked for it. I will never go to this place again and i hope something changes. Consumers are always right

Shop & Shop has always been that clean supermarket that everyone in the neighborhood goes to get what they need in one stop. Today I discovered there are a handful more Tropicana flavors then I knew. I haven't seen this or most of the newer varieties of the every day staples at the other super.markets around here.

Always very clean and good selection of a variety of items. My favorite Stop & Shop locally. Traffic can be a nightmare around the shopping center though, so I try to time my visits outside of rush hour!

I have been shopping at the Stop and Shop in Farmingville for years. Lately this particular store has gone waaaay down hill. They are horrible at keeping the shelves stocked. I always have to go to another store to get what I need. The cashiers, except for one, are rude at best and throw your food down the belt. The past few weeks, I have picked up so many expired items it's ridiculous!! Not just a day or two past the date, weeks past the date! They are going to make people sick!! It is time to move on and spend my $250-$300 a week in another store .

Nice new look but why on earth charge $9.29 for Challah Bread??? Kosher or not, no one should charge that much for a loaf of bread. Completely ridiculous! Talk about discrimination.....

I have been going here for years but the past couple of years the produce section has just depleted to nothing. I went there today and the entire section of broccoli was rotten. I couldn’t believe they had so much rotten broccoli ready to sell. It was disgusting and unbelievable. The cucumbers was also spoiled and soft. I feel like they don’t care for produce at this store. I’ve started driving to meat farms for produce even though I live 5 mins from this stop and shop. Management needs to walk thru the produce section daily to ensure the veggies and fruits are fresh.

I needed to share an experience. I did some shopping last night and was unable to find stove top stuffing for a recipe. After going up and down every isle twice I checked out. Walking out I past a few employees and asked for next time where do I find it. A manager ran and got in told me isle 7 it was on him and have a great night 😃 kudos to you sir sorry I didn't get your name to thank you publically properly!

On a positive basis, everyone that works there is usually nice and helpful except for the Dairy manager. Twice, I've had to go to her to ask about stock, and she was a little short with her reply. I may have caught her on a bad day! I can not depend on this store to be in stock on the brands I use. It's hit or miss with this store. Coram is a much better stocked store.

The most expensive of all the grocery stores around the area it seems now a days. I don’t like to bring my children to this store especially if it’s later on at night. A handful of times I’ve had that bad feeling at this store when I’ve had my children with me. The feeling there’s some creep following us around the store or someone is just giving off that bad energy that sets off your intuition/internal alarm.

Very clean and produce is fresh, some shelved were really empty but the place was overall pretty decent. No long lines either as there is a self checkout area as well as an area for u to be assisted with am actual cashier.

This is my favorite Stop and Shop near my house! Everyone here is so friendly and willing to help. I enjoy bringing my children here with me and I feel that the store is extremely clean. I come here about 2-3 times a week because of its location and that I always know they'll have everything I need. The Customer Service Manager was so helpful!

I feel like this store is never properly stocked. They close the self checkout lanes too early and there are only a couple of members of staff that I've spoken to that are actually polite and helpful.Update 4/14/21I just bumped into my previous review and had to update. They have since renovated the store and it came out really nice. Very clean never too cold and they've been great with stock especially under the circumstances recently. I moved closer to the Medford store but will still drive to this one when possible since it's so much nicer now.

The employees I spoke to were very nice and helpful. A few even came to ask me if I needed assistance. I remembered and employee actually accompanied me to find what I needed instead of just telling me the aisle. The only negative is that the Stop & Shop had less selection than the ones in Nassau County.

Chris, the assistant manager here is awesome. Really helpful to all the customers. He went out of his way to help a little old lady while I watched, and then cut some watermelon for me because there wasn't any available on the shelf. Must be a great boss for his employees.

Pricing is out of control here or it's never stocked properly. Go to the new Walmart in yapank, same items for close to half the price. I have a family of 4 and 2 dogs I save close to 300 a month not going here.

My only complaint with this store is that they don't keep up with the bottle return area. The machines are always in need of emptying and they don't make it easy to get someone to come and take care of them. The windows in the area they use for grocery pick-up have been covered with paper so we don't bother the workers inside. There is a button on the wall that we're supposed to use for service, but who knows if it works.

I live in Mastic Beach, but travel to Farmingville to shop because they always have better stock. In addition to my other groceries, I specifically shop at this store because they’ve always had stock of the Weaver chicken tenders, large box of mozzarella sticks & m&m’s vanilla yogurt. Unfortunately, the last 4 times I shopped there, none of those items were available. I was very disappointed as I travel there expecting my favorite items to be in stock as they have always been in the past!! Is it possible to have those items available again? Otherwise, I can shop at a closer location if I want to settle!! Please help make my grocery experience good again!!! Thank you for your consideration.

Personally,I like stop and shop! They have what you need at prices you can afford. They have a shopping card which you can save even more! Even through the pandemic they tried to do the best they can in a world where this just might be the norm. Fresh produce as well. I do recommend this establishment. The only thing I have a complaint about is the one way aisles. They do have special hours for handicapped people but. I can't get there at those early hours.

I love this S & S. I interviewed here in 2012 and eventually was an assistant bookkeeper for the company in a few stores about 3 years later. I would give my left arm now because my company closed for good from the Covid-19 Nightmare.This store is clean and the employees are nice. I have an issue in some stores with produce freshness, but this stores produce manager keeps a clean fresh department 🍒🍓🍇🍎👍💚

It's conveniently located, good sales, nice produce. However, the deli is overpriced and takes far too long. If you purchase meat, you better cook it right away because it won't last long. Some employees are very nice. Others with bad attitudes. I only shop here when I'm too busy to go somewhere else.

I have tried 3 days in a row to use the Coinstar machine and it is always full. I don't know if they even remember to empty it. I've tried other locations but every store has this problem. Every Stop & Shop near me doesn't empty their Coinstar and it's a waste of my time.
