I wanted to share tonight's experience, I went there to purchase three things as I normally do because I am local to the neighborhood. I went to purchase body wash and noticed that it was locked up. I found it odd I silently decided to skip this purchase, I went to purchase antacid Pepcid AC, which I found to be locked as well, I had to ring twice for someone to come. I need to be greeted by who I believe to be the store manager, a blonde lady, with a grimace mixed with an aire of arrogance. I've never seen her before and I've been coming there since 2018 I asked her why it was locked up she said because people steal it ,the same CVS brand antacid is not locked up , I don't know if this is a Store policy or a CVS policy but loss and prevention need to rethink this ,as a consumer I will not be having to ring every single time I need to make a purchase now you may think I'm one person and I will gladly share my purchase history there, and how much money I spend weekly , monthly and yearly, I choose CVS. I don't need CVS. There's so many things in that store that cost so much money that are not locked up or behind that stupid plastic with the key if it wasn't for a few amazing cashiers and I believe an amazing shift manager I totally would walk I'm giving you the chance to fix this .

I'm going away to stay with relatives in Canada, and haven't traveled since 2019, for obvious reasons. My insurance company just turned over to a nationwide one, and Of Course, caused massive chaos. Ended up too late to get a 90 day supply of my meds, so I had to pay out of pocket. I'd called this branch last weekend and been told go with GoodRX discount card. The man that helped me when I went in to do this yesterday, was a pleasure to deal with. His hair should have gone on fire from the friction of him hitting the keys, trying to find me the cheapest discount I could get. When I come back I'm going to have to bake them some cookies for their hard work, and kindness. They even directed me to a chair while I waited for the meds to go through the discount process, and get them paid.

I feel so bad for this pharmacy staff. They are always extremely busy and I see then get yelled at regularly for things that are beyond their control. I pick up all my prescriptions from here and any time I've had an insurance issue they have gone above and beyond trying to get my costs down. They always answer ALL my questions and I see then treat everyone fairly. Recently Dominique and Casey really went way beyond their call of duty to help me and it is beyond appreciated!!

I had a great experience at this CVS. The team member who helped me at the register was extremely helpful and polite. I had two items that weren’t showing up on sale and she helped me to correct my purchase. She was very pleasant and kind. She was the blonde lady with short hair helping to blow up balloons for another customer. Thank you so much for your kindness. CVS you are lucky to have her. I wish I knew her name to write it.

I was helped by Ann:-Who seemed to be the only store employee there when I was there.-She was very kind with helping me find what I needed and I drove 20 mins out of the way to come to your location for a particular product that your CVS only had in stock on Long Island.-As well, she was able to multi-task with ring ups afterwards with other customers.

The cashier Annie in the Farmingville CVS store was truly heaven sent. She helped me to locate my credit card as I thought I lost it in the store and then we laughed about it after I found it,what a caring and wonderful woman thank you so much.Annette

A friend of mine who doesn't speak English needed help picking up a prescription drug from this store. My expectation was that my friend would be picked up and taken back to his house as soon as possible.As soon as we arrived, we went straight to the pharmacy counter, where Anna was manning the register. No one was in line. We were the only ones there. Hold on, she said, and we waited. A few minutes later, shouted loudly and asked for the name, and then shouted loudly to spell out every letter. Later, she said your prescription is not ready yet. told us to wait for 5 to 10 minutes. We waited for 45 minutes later and one of the pharmacy workers came by and said our prescription was ready and sitting at the pick up box the whole time.Nowadays, young people tend to lack details and follow-up. What happened to all the etiquette and customer service.

Had an amazing experience with the pharmacy at this location. Ethan helped me both over the phone and then he also happened to be the person who helped me at the counter the next day. I had a prior bad experience with a different CVS and was calling to see if I could get my prescriptions transferred to this location. I actually was ready to switch everything over to Walgreens, but Ethan was efficient over the phone, got all of my prescriptions switched over. Had everything ready for me when I picked up. My prescriptions can be a little complicated. Some I use my insurance, some insurance with a coupon, and others I don’t go through insurance and only use a coupon. But Ethan was efficient, pleasant and answered all of my questions. When I picked up he also happened to be the person who helped me at the counter. He remembered me and was just as professional and nice in person. CVS is lucky to have him working there. I will continue to be a CVS customer because of this great service. But I will now go to this store and not the prior store in Medford where i had the horrible experience.

Went to CVS today to buy Halloween treats for my 3 nieces and there weren’t any specialty treats on the shelves? Only a couple of boxes of sour patch straws and monsters. And a few lollipop spinners and some flashlights filled with m & m’s. These items were $6..99 each! Where were the chocolate peanut butter pumpkins? And chocolate and green Kit Kats? The black cat and white ghost and green monster marshmallows??? Not a one in sight? Such a disappointment! ☹️

Please do not go here!!! This is the worse CVS I have every been to. Long story short Julia should have her license taken away and be sent back to school. They make up whatever rules and when get called out they say we can do whatever we want and don’t think they have to follow any CVS policy’s. Please spend your money at another pharmacy.

While picking up a prescription my 74 year old mother was waiting on line for 15 minutes behind another person that was being helped. She waited patiently and was called to the counter for her turn. The manager then walked up to the counter and told my mother she needed to come back in 30 min or wait till they came back from lunch. My mother asked why they couldn’t just grab her prescription, that would take 1 or 2 minutes and the manager nastily said, “well we have to eat lunch”. This is unacceptable. The line should have been shut down behind my mother after waiting for 15 min and they should have helped my mother and went to lunch. She was finally helped after some debate between the staff and was rudely told to have a nice day. My mother still doesn’t know what she did wrong. Last time we use CVS

This place is horrrrriblee. 1-10 I would give a-1000. For prob a year now every month my scripts are not ready or don’t have it even when I call to ensure and pastorate them I am comming. These experiences have made me change to anything else but CVS. I needed medication one night and couldn’t be provided and they could carelessss and wouldn’t even look to help!!!!!!

I love the pharmacy in Farmingville! Such friendly and helpful staff! That tall beefcake type guy Dennis, is VERY easy on the eyes - total smoke show! As well as being genuinely caring, skillful, and knowledgeable!I used to fill at the CVS down the road in Ronkonkoma up until a few months ago(I should have switched a lot sooner because the head pharmacist there seemed angry, and is always rude.) In February, they didn’t have my medication in and switched it to Farmingville without asking me. Upon arriving at the drive thru to pick up my meds I met the most beautiful man and was rendered speechless. Dennis then helped me transfer my other medications once I regained my voice and made it known I wanted to transfer everything right then and there. All that in under 3 minutes!! Was in today(why I’m here writing this now) and witnessed Dennis seamlessly field questions from coworkers, solve those problems all while greeting customers waiting to be helped by their first names before they spoke a word, and genuinely ask how they were doing - who then asked about his young family. This was all witnessed from the back of a line of about 6/7 people in a matter of 5 minutes. CVS needs more leaders like Dennis! That is how a pharmacy should be run. Not just a series of emotionless transactions!!!Even though I literally live right around the block from the Ronkonkoma location, I will never go back there! Going to Farmingville is worth the extra 10 minute drive! I suppose I should thank Ronkonkoma for being so terrible and rude!!!

Not surprised to see such a low rating. The 2 staff members working i went weee extremely rude and unprofessional. I said I need to transfer my medication and the response was "Well, we close in an hour. What do you want? Whats your name?" And the other one, just over it. Doesn't matter. Just bad customer service. I work with the public as well. Dont be rude.

Shannon the manger was such a great help, she was very knowledgeable and had a really nice personality. This store compares to no other cvs, for all the rite aid costumers your missing out because she a baddie

These people are extremely rude. I had an encounter with an Allie or Allison who refused to give me her name... she is judgmental and refuses to hear anything that the customer is trying to say.... I voiced how I felt about how she had made me feel and her tone completely switched up, after asking her name she put me right on hold.. if these miserable people don’t like their jobs then maybe they shouldn’t be working in this environment.... she should be reprimanded for the way she speaks to people and that she should be reminded where she works and that her tone is everything... I feel bad for her, as young as she is, she has a lot of growing up to do. I am disgusted with cvs and the people they have at their pharmacy!

Store is a mess and their own employees can not find things. I went to buy lip balm and she told me it was 18.99. I pointed out to her that the hook it was on and the description matched the item at 7.99 because it was the store brand. I was told that does not matter. The computer says 18.99.

The pharmacists and the girls they have working behind the counter are completely rude!!! They like to play Dr and tell you when you can get and take your medication instead of listening to your drs orders. They treat you like you are below them because they have a degree?!! I don't think so.. Never will we spend a dollar in that store and I'm going to report them to the NABP. NATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS OF BOARDS OF PHARMACY!! terrible service. I would give them zero stars but I have to give one in order to post this. Go to Selden CVS much better service! And ten times quicker!

I understand that a pharmacy is busy. Just don’t lie to the customer. Don’t tell me a few more minutes and then have me call back hours later begging to get the meds for a kid. Never got a message as I was told to wait. Had to call back a few times for a straight answer.

Thnks to the pharmacist Mike and his staff they were able to get my prescription filled in an emergency. They went above and beyond in order to ensure I had my prescription. This was after fighting with the cvs in Merrick where the pharmacist refused to help me and tried MAKING ME TAKE THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION !Once again Mike and team in farmingville crushed it ! Thanks again guys

I wish they could give a lower star of than one because they don't even deserve one star.. after the sitting there waiting on three prescriptions to get filled and they said 10 minutes 2 hours and 45 minutes later i finally get to prescriptions sylvia the pharmacist since you put the order in and never even put the order in the new be fine a register is she expedited the orderbut absolutely no reason in the world to have been waiting there so long sick as hell never again will i use this company after such a bad experiencenot to mention they always leave you on hold at all branches if you call the pharmacy i don't know how they are still in businesshopefully they won't be much longer they definitely lost mine and i'm sure if few others today as well
