One of the butchers/meat dept workers was putting out fresh cuts (on a Sunday!) and I asked if they had any beef filet cuts in the back. He said to give him a minute and he'd have the other butcher cut whatever size I needed. I told him 8-10oz works, and within a few mins I had a fresh cut filet ready to go. Thanks again guys, it came out perfect!!

I have been shopping here for many years and it seems that I have had many issues with the consistency of pricing on buttercream frosting from the bakery. Ever time I buy my 32oz frosting the price is drastically different. I have spoken to multiple managers at different times and they all have a different answer. Usually the price is anywhere between 6.99-12.99 for a 32oz container. I'm okay with that. Then recently I went in and they wanted to charge me 26.00 plus dollars for a 32oz. I do understand that everything has gone up in price....but when you are charging 12.99 for a whole cake with more frosting on it then a 32oz container..... something isn't adding up....and as a manager you find out what is going on instead of saying " I don't know, but prices are going up". Then why is a cake only 12.99 but a container of frosting 26.00. wouldn't the price of the cake go up too?Something doesn't make sense and it's disappointing that there is a such a lack of drive for people to actually figure things out.They lost a good costumer today.

Everyone in my family has noticed the prices here are outrageous. The only thing they have going for them is that they carry some items that no one else carries. The produce is usually not very fresh. They do occasionally have some good sales which will bring me into their store, but I just can't believe how expensive they are. They're higher priced than even Wegmans.

Tops is always our go-to grocery store, only because it's so close to our home. Wegmans is BY FAR our absolute favorite grocery store!!! No one can beat Wegmans!! Tops is alright but has nowhere near the high-end, top quality meats, cheeses, fish, baked goods and produce that Wegmans offers consistently. A number of very friendly and pleasant staff I enjoy seeing almost daily is nice at our local Tops though. You come to know folks a bit when you're at the store as frequently as I am...lol 😂

Tops is always a great place to shop. It's reasonably priced, not overcrowded, and the produce is good quality too. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The Farmington one is nice and the updated one in Canandaigua is fantastic!

If I could give zero stars I would. Went to this store a few weeks ago and witnessed the worst service ever. There was a lady yelling at two people one who looked younger than 17. Yes, YELLING. Then one said "you can't go to the bathroom without asking first!" Like that is NOT how to treat employees. This store is the worst I have ever seen. Going into the store there were ZERO cashiers available the selection was horrid. This is one of the worst Tops I have ever been to. Not satisfied at all. Tops you can do better!

They recently remodeled the self checkout with computers that require assistance for nearly every step. Paper bags are not available for self checkout, there are no cashiers and only a lone teenager monitoring a fleet of malfunctioning self checkout machines. It's great.

Usually have a good selection of produce and grocery items. Their prices seem a bit high to me, but I do like their meat selection (and the butcher does a great job in preparing the meat - I don't have to do a lot of trimming when I get the product home, unlike other stores I've been to.)They also seem to have a lot of registers open all the time, so checkout is fast and easy.

Clean store. Limited produce options but the quality seems fine. I used the self check out which is nice but the machines are different than others in the area. They beep to let you know it's ready for you to scan the item, which is fine, but led to a bit of frustration from thinking the scanner already registered the item I scanned. So the cycle of placing the item in the bag too soon, getting the message to remove item, rescan item and repeat, could be avoided by having more patience or more practice.

Tops is definitely one of the better grocery stores in the area to shop at. 1 * off because they seem too frequently run out of some of the snacks I like, and customer service seems hit-or-miss depending on who is working in when I go. Many of the staff are very friendly and nice While others clearly don't want to be there or to keep their masks pulled up all the time

Good local grocery store with a great selection of products. Smaller than other Tops stores in the area, however, this store still seems much nicer than others. Prices are also pretty good. Overall, much better shopping experience than the preceding grocery store, Wade's. Wegmans is still the best though.

Compared to my grocery store in Ohio, it was wonderful. It is considered a small store for that area, but we found everything we needed and wanted along with some extra things like local beer!

I went to pick up a few items at the Farmington tops. The store is clean. The cashiers are very friendly and professional. The only complaint I have is when I get deli meat. The staff never smiles. I feel iam more of a bother to them. Will start to get my deli meat somewhere else.

Great home town store. I love our local Tops. I’m not really sure why they’re are so many rude comments & people suggesting they put a Wegmans there? If you like other retailers best - than simply go to them. I personally prefer Tops. This location is always neat, clean & organized.

Some things are so pricey! Their rewards are pretty okay. Strange areas for their restrooms and their 5 for $19.99 least selection is not the bargain you think it is. Mine turned out to be 5.55 a lb for cube steak and stir fry meat.

Always a good selection. They really are stepping up their prepared foods/meals department which is a big help for us sometimes. The bakery is also on point between breads, donuts and desserts. I would recommend getting a free tops bonus card because you can save a lot with the discounts every week. I just wish they had a gas station attached so I could use the gas reward points as well.

I am sorry to say that I avoid Top's because of their high prices on items that are much lower at other franchises. I do, however, have to visit Top's occasionally. The store is always clean, the food is fresh, the customer service is fine, but like I said, the prices are far too high, even with their discount card.

Even before social distancing, store never stocked well. At times, produce is disgusting. Can’t believe they expect someone to buy them. Have found dust on can tops as well as outdated products on selves. They must not rotate stock. During virus, they allowed someone that was sick deal with the public. There are rarely wipes to clean carts. Their isles are narrow. So what do they do. Put displays in the isles to crowd them more. During virus, you never see anyone cleaning like they do in other stores.

Very clean store ,pleasant employees, and it’s 5 mins from home..prices are a little high but in a hurry and need something right away their there.
