This is one of the best budget hotels I've stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot.PROS:The room is very big with a couch and the biggest room fridge I've ever seen. It's cleaner than any red roof or econolodge, although I'm not saying it was spotless. The bed has a comfortable and firm mattress with good pillows, and there is an actual comforter with filling. The included breakfast is really great and included a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, bagels, bread, bananas, various cereals, various juices, tons of condiments, and more.CONS:The first floor hallway reeks of cigarette smoke, and they have smoking rooms right next to nonsmoking rooms.First floor rooms have sliding doors that are not very secure, rather than windows. A metal stick is used to keep it "locked". Aside from that, there is not an actual working door lock. Mine additionally was broken and would not close after I opened it. It was infuriating. The front desk attendant couldn't get it closed for me either, and her fiance actually had to come and force it shut.Their computer system was down when I arrived, and I had to let them photocopy my ID and credit card, which I feel is a financial security concern.Safety: First floor rooms have rickety sliding doors instead of windows.

The rooms don't suck , there was access to our room from the parking lot that was cool but we had an issue with booking the room and trying to get any help with a refund was a joke ! And carrey at the front desk should choose a different job AWFUL attitude ! The guy with the face tat working over nights was gentleman 👌 he was helpful and kind

My Son had been having homeless for 2 monthsi could not find him, finally did, hungry rough looking, but still a human and despite everything, still kind. I was able to get him a room there. My goodness, they treated him like he was a millionaire. He good not wait to tell me about the breakfast and how he refilled his plate 3x, btw, He's still there, first time he's hugged me in 3 yrs. Remember kindness and humanity goes a long way. Ty so much to the employees of the Motel.

9:00 pm and there were no vacancies for at least 2-3 hrs behind us on rt 86 coming from the E.. It was just pure luck that we found this place. It's off the road a bit- kind of secluded. An older place- does need a face-lift. Our 1st floor room had sliding glass door onto the parking lot. That sounded scary to me, but turned out to be the best thing. We parked right outside our door and carried 12 feet. Bathroom counter space a little tight, but very clean and doable. Breakfast was good too. Kinda like staying at Grandma's house.😊

It’s a place to sleep if you are in extreme need but try your best to stay clear, the hotel has a Smokey musty odor and is in need of many repairs and replacements, Brandy the “manager” had my truck towed from the parking lot after becoming disgruntled with me, she went to the place that towed it and stole multiple items from my truck after. After talking with police and the tow company it turns out she had lied to both of them to try to burglarize my vehicle. Not the type of people you should have to waste your hard earned money on, wheres the hospitality??

The conditions of our room were unacceptable. The bed comforter had feces, bodily fluids, and blood stains on it. The bedskirt and wall was moldy behind the night stand. The mattress had two permenant body impressions in it, it was so worn. There was hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom. When we confronted the desk clerk about these things in the morning (there were no other rooms available to move to) he said that there was only one member on the cleaning staff and that she couldn’t actually clean all of the rooms. He said they were booked full for the upcoming night as well. When I asked him why they book more rooms than they can clean, actively booking dirty uncleaned rooms, he just shrugged and walked away. Stay away from this place. The price is right, but it is unfit to stay in.

Reasonable, and nice place to stay in the Chautauqua Lake region. Conveniently located just off highway 86, which leads into Jamestown, etc., or anywhere around the lake. This is an older hotel, but it has been updated a bit. The staff is really nice. The rooms are large, there is adequate lighting, and I love the glass sliding doors, which lead right out to the parking lot and your car, if you were able to park near your window/door. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, and the coffee, although it comes out of a machine, was really good. I omitted one star because the outlets in the bathroom were loose (I couldn't curly my hair with my curling iron) and the hair dryer was hanging off the wall, loosely by the screw, and when I tried to turn it off, I couldn't and had to just unplug it. The bathroom could have used a bit of maintenance. This is a good place to stay around the lake-though - it's in a private, wooded area, right off the highway, but I didn't hear any road traffic. There is a little town nearby (Falconer), right near the hotel - and there's a grocery store (Tops), right in town, less than a mile away, if you need a few things.I've stayed here before, and I'll stay here again.Just stayed here again this past weekend, a few weeks since my initial review. Everything again was good, except housekeeping has to do a MUCH better job of cleaning rooms. I won't elaborate, because I notified the front desk in the morning when I was leaving. Please train and do better!!! For the most part, I enjoy staying at this hotel when staying overnight in the area, but there are a few other options out there.

I stayed in room #209 in late August, 2023. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The woman at the check-in desk informed me of the hours for breakfast, and that tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were available 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, i could not drink the hot chocolate because one of the ingredients was sucralose which makes me sick, but I did enjoy a cup of hot tea. I was impressed with the amount of light in the room (you don't often see overhead lighting in hotel rooms these days), which is important to me because i always travel with a book. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the included breakfast the following morning was satisfying. I would stay here again.

Just spent 3 nights there, awesome facility, very clean and well maintained. Hannah an the staff are the best ever, breakfast was outstanding, very relaxed and comfortable setting. If you plan on visiting the Jamestown area I would strongly suggest staying here instead of some place in town, much better choice without any issues like parking, addicts, bums, etc. We plan on returning many times in the future.Rooms: Awesome clean, comfortableSafety: Felt very safe here

The staff was friendly, our room was clean and they had the air on already when we arrived. Most hotels keep the heat/air off until you check in and it takes forever to heat up or cool the room down. The beds were comfy and each bed had three pillows with different types of fill so you could choose the one you liked best. Breakfast was also good and had a decent variety. I thought the room was a little pricey, but everything was almost sold out on a Saturday night and nothing else decent in the price range. The only two things I didn't like was they have no elevator so we had to walk up to the second floor, and the carpeting on the stairs really needed a good cleaning.

Nice big room, 1st floor with sliding doors to outside (which was actually very nice). Smokey lobby and hallways, but the room was surprisingly odor-less. Some funky looking stains on the small couch. Overall 3/5. They were very cool about the two-cat situation, with a small fee. Location is a bit aways from central Jamestown, so keep that in mind. Price point was very good.

Decent sized room. I really liked the sliding glass doors to go in and out of the room to keep from walking thru the hotel. It is a pet friendly hotel so we brought our GSD. Being able to take him outside straight out of our room was nice. The rooms are a bit outdated and smells a bit stale and musty. Price is a little steep in my opinion, but it was a one night stop to get some rest as we were traveling halfway across the country from New Hampshire to Minnesota.

The so called manager of this place has to be one of the worst humans I have ever met in my life. Absolute lowest grade of customer service I have received in my life and the little long haired punk that was sticking up for her unnecessary rudeness should count his blessings that I’m not the same man I was 10 years ago. Whatever you bring you might as well plan on leaving there because there are bugs galore. They appeared to be bed bugs. I dropped my charger box behind the tv stand so I pulled it out to get it and it looked like they had not cleaned behind that thing in at least 5 years. And judging by the receipt I found back there it had been at least a year and a half. Dirtiest hotel I have seen with the most unpleasant hotel manager I have had an experience with. Shame on you Quality Inn. There is no Quality here and the blame has to go solely on the manager Brandy. Do better Quality Inn. Do better Brandy.

My 3 night stay was wonderful! It was very quiet and relaxing. My bed was comfortable and the water was super hot.My only complaints would be that there was random white stuff sprayed ALL OVER the glass doors and my coffeemaker was missing the little drawer to put the coffee pouch in.I will definitely stay here again, when I'm in need of some 'me' time.

Be aware that motel can charge you twice for your stay. When I called Manager said that they charge me only once but my Credit card statement shows it double. I paid one day one total amount and they charge me again 2 days after the same amount. My credit card is disputing charge but Manager should respond to wrong transaction right away. Pay cash only! My credit card is still disputing charge so avoid this hotel. They will overcharge you and it is hard to dispute.

We booked the reservation over the phone. We specifically requested a wheelchair accessible room with a roll-in shower. We were told the room they reserved for us had a roll-in shower and was accessible to wheelchairs. It even said so on the website when we checked. When we arrived I was upset to discover that my wheelchair didn't fit beyond the first bed. I could not access the dressers nor the other side of the room which had a sliding glass door to the outside. I then saw that the shower had a piddly little shower chair. It was not the kind that hangs over the bathtub and onto the bathroom floor where it would have made it possible to transfer into the tub. There was no way to move from the wheelchair onto the shower chair without standing up and lifting your legs over the rim of the tub. So, I was not able to shower during my stay. We brought this to the attention of the acting manager and asked if she could book us a room at a more accessible hotel nearby. She said she would not recommend the one place that had the right kind of bathroom because of an alleged infestation issue...So, we stayed where we were but were upset that she did not offer any kind of compensation for a room that I was paying full price for but could only use 50% of. We tried going through the main Choice hotels number while we were there to see if they could make the situation better but the automated message said that if you are still in the hotel and have not checked out you need to talk to the manager at the hotel and if that did not resolve the issue then you had to wait until checkout to call the main number and talk to them. The next morning we tried talking to the front desk person about it but she said she could not do anything because her manager (the person we spoke to the night before) wasn't there. So, we left and when we got home we called the main number again but were told that they could not issue any refunds but offered us 4,000 "free" points as compensation. Some might say that free points are awesome BUT we will not be traveling again until after those points expire. So, in essence, we get no compensation. We were then told that giving us those points meant the issue was resolved. We had literally spent 7 nights at different Choice hotels that week but that is the best they could do? That's how they treat their members? If you have a disability, you might want to go to a different hotel, one that actually cares about accessibility.

Horrible customer service. Not able to accommodate handicap needs. No elevator for second floor. Asked us to park away from the building because boats need to park near the building. Absolutely not! I am legally handicapped and have cancer. I am exhausted. I cannot do stairs nor park farther from your building. The place smells badly of cigarettes. They won't cancel our reservation, though they can't accommodate our needs. Horrible.

Overall our worst hotel experience to date. We were so disappointed to be told at a 9pm check-in that they would not be able to accommodate our request for a handicap room for my father in law. At that time we were offered an upstairs room in which this hotel does not have an elevator or a downstairs room that is a smoking room. We felt very little option and took the smoking room to accommodate his motorized wheelchair. When we get into our room we found it to be overwhelmingly scented with what we guessed to be a carpet spray/powder. There were burn holes in our top coverlet on one of the beds, a broken lamp shade, debris (pistachio shells and other food crumbs) on 3 sides of the nightstand and a zip tie holding our door lock together. The side door closest to our room did not work and the overall smell of the building smelled of urine. To make matters worse our second of the 2 night stay we came back to the hotel and found there to be no hot water. When i called the front desk i was told that they were aware and were not sure when we could have hot water available. Needless to say hot water was not made available to us before our 8:45am check out. I inquired about their compensation plan for guests who were left without and was told they werent sure of a plan. I left shaking my head. This is hands down the worst hotel experience my family has experienced so far.

Ok for the price...not much else was available at the time. The room was much better than the appearance of the hotel exterior but it smelled of smoke. The bed wasn't too bad and there were lots of electric outlets for charging. The bathroom had a small vanity but everything was pretty clean. Breakfast was below average. The eggs were OK but there was no salt and pepper and no bread, English muffins or bagels for toast. The few other items on the breakfast bar had lots of sugar in them. The juice and coffee were ok. There was no fresh fruit.

Everything was fine except for one problem: the room smelled very musty, like there was mold in the walls or carpet or something. I was only able to render the smell tolerable because the room happened to have a sliding glass door and I was able to air the place out for several hours before going to sleep. Also noticed that the hallway right outside the laundry room smelled even worse. Maybe the other rooms were OK, but I'm a little skeptical based upon my experience. Too bad, too, the rest of the motel was good.

Disgusting very disappointed in the house keeping and the attitude of the desk help. Rude. I got in exhausted and really late. Room was NOT clean I was almost to tired to say anything but I found feces in bathroom and what appeared to be vomit chunks on the so called clean sheets. Asked for new sheets I was just gonna grab a hr or 2 shut eye as the day had been very long and overwhelming. I just wanted to sleep not try to dig up another hotel room and spend precious moments fighting to get my money back. Gave Me attitude like how dare me complain about the room I was going to change sheets stay & sleep til ck out I was so angry and disgusted by their attitudes . They could have given me a semi clean room! I looked like NOONE EVEN TRIED! DONT BOTHER . it's dirty , unsanitary, and absolutely waste OF TIME AND ENERGY.

Very comfortable and easy to find hotel. Check in was quick. I took my dog with me and paid an extra $15 fee (very reasonable).Negatives: went to get a snack out of the vending machine and it said it only took coins but didn’t. The courtyard is a grassy area that is in front of the parking lot and the picnic benches are not in great shape. Very thin sheets on the bed so it gets cold. There are smoking rooms throughout and at times, I could smell it in the hallway.Positives: nice clean room, comfy bed, awesome shower pressure. They do offer a small continental breakfastbut I did not have any so I cannot comment on that. The price for this hotel is quite cheap and it was a good stay overall.
