My cat is a HUGE very strong tabby and Norwegian forest cat mix. He is very aggressive at the vet. His teeth and claws are HUGE. It's like trying to fight a Bob cat to brush him. He has sensitive skin, dandruff, and doesn't clean his back so I took him to get groomed. They are very professional! They got him bathed, brushed out, and his claws trimmed up with no problem. He refused the drier which is okay, they towel dried him and I put on my seat warmers for him. He's so fluffy , shiny, and soft now! $50 well spent! Thanks pick of the litter: )

Patty and her staff always do a good job for me. They love animals and are knowledgeable. We've been taking our 2 cats there for grooming, especially our one cat, for a couple of years now. For at least 15 years, maybe longer, we had taken our dogs to Pick of the Litter for boarding. Note: they always have cats and kittens that need adoption and are so cute!! I was greeted by 3 of them! They are also in need of staff like most businesses these days, or even volunteers as they are a busy shelter location as well as boarding/grooming. Patty will also help with cat-sitting in your Falconer/Jamestown area home.

I'm looking for a pup and had the pleasure of meeting Duke for a meet & greet. The young lady that presented Duke was so very helpful and hopeful that he would be a good fit!! Unfortunately he was a bit to happy & rambunctious for my old body. I was sad that I couldn't give Duke a forever home but I'm sure he will find the right fit.If you're thinking in adopting please put Pick of the Litter on your list of go to places to look!!! The ladies are so very helpful & hopeful that all these pups get furever homes!!!

Has a 9 am appointment and my cat wasn't done until 1:30pm. This was for a bath, nails clipped and haircut and the cut was uneven and wasn't even fully done! Not impressed!

Always quick, reasonable and friendly. They always do a very good job handling my toy poodle and if you have a stray Patty is the first to take them in with kindness and care!! She will call you within 10 days to let you when the stray is adopted ❤️

I had a great experience with pick of the litter. The staff was wonderful and very caring to all the animals. You can tell they put a lot of time and effort into each an everyone and try to find loving homes for them. We found a super cute dog and she now has her furrever home. Thanks for all you do. We had adopted and adorable husky mix . We could not get her for 4 more weeks, but had already had her name tags made up, purchased special puppy food, beds etc, gone to try to bond a little with her.We received a message from a 17 year old girl telling us there had been a MISCOMMUNICATION, and the dog was going to someone else. My husband drove down there , and was so upset. NO apologies, nothing. We are totally heart broken. The 17 year old tried to call the owner, but she is in Florida and would not answer the phone. In a situation like this, it should not have been left to a young girl . The owner should have been informed and the excuse of MISCOMMUNICATION, should have been explained.We are angry , sad, and heartbroken, and so wanted her to join our family. There is no excuse for not getting at the least a formal apology.

Riley had a nice spa day there. He was there while I had to leave town for the day. Hes a Great Dane n not with the best behavior. He got a bath n nails cut. Price was great.

We took my daughters cat here for grooming for her first grooming. Nala is a long haired cat and my daughter was concerned that she wouldn't like the results. When we picked Nala up, my daughter and I were very happy with the results. Thank you for taking good care of Nala while she was there!!

Horrible service. I called asked about if they could take a mom cat and to baby cats she told me to call back aweek and I call back in a week and a half and she tells me the 2nd time talking to her o there is a 100 fee for each cat then gets rude
