I was so happy to find this pet supply store! They have everything I need for my two dogs and two cats. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.Plants are so important because they are the primary source of food and oxygen for all organisms on Earth. Plants produce food through photosynthesis, which uses sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen. The oxygen produced by plants is released into the atmosphere, where it is used by animals and other organisms.

I used the self serve dog wash for my great dane. Was perfect. Everything necessary was provided and the staff were pleasant and engaging. I will recommend to anyone with a big dog.

Horrible grooming experience here! May have just been an isolated event but my uncle has been bringing his dog to the pet supplies plus in penfield, but since they lost their groomer he was suggested to go here. The groomer told my uncle that his dog was too hard to manage, which is unheard of. Penfield NEVER had any issues with her and was always told she was a pleasure. It was atrocious the behavior of this groomer to say that she couldn’t come back to the location again. Clearly to me it seems this groomer didn’t know what they were doing or made a mistake and couldn't own up to it cause his dog is a sweetheart and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Very disappointing!

pet supplies plus is a small local pet store chain in the Rochester area - deserves a low rating for pretty basic reasons. Does not have silicone crystal litter options despite this being a norm in the market, the options they do have are marked high in price to account for local marketing “deals” and discounts. CountryMax, Wegmans, or the typical pet store chains both in person, in-app, or online have better pricing and options? I’m not sure how pet supplies plus stands apart other than higher prices, less variety of options, and the expectation to “trust your local business.” During the peak of the pandemic, normal supplies was (roughly estimating) 150% the price here than other stores - while EVERY store was dealing with supply chain shortages. Therefore this model doesn’t work if the quality and/or presentation of “higher quality pet supplies” is lacking.

Everyone is so nice and always says hello when you come through the door. They always ask if you need help with anything and they always, always match prices, consumer getting the best price. I am in thst store all the time buying Fancy Feast, Catnip, Toys, etc for my Cat Max.

Had to order a large bag of cat food from this store since my local store was out of stock (according to the online ordering page). Pickup was just as easy as my local store. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and the staff were as friendly as my local store too. I recommend using Pet Supplies Plus for your pet's needs.

MAKE SURE YOU READ YOUR PETS FULL MEDICAL HISTORY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE SPECIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS. My cat had been spayed THREE DAYS before I came and picked her up… they did not tell me! I felt terrible, because I was picking her up, and putting her in a harness— she must have been in so much pain, in addition to the stress of being in a new home. It was not until the next day that I got a chance to read the fine print of the folder they gave me once we got home and had everything set up that I found out poor baby had just gotten surgery. If I had known, I would have asked to wait a few days before adopting her to let her heal, or at the very least, I would have never put her in a harness/picked her up. I feel very lucky that her stitches healed right, but this place should never forgive themselves for such negligence. So irresponsible. They were also very noticeably understaffed, but lack of staff does not justify putting lives at risk. Please adopt from here, just so u can save these poor pets from this environment, but don’t expect them to tell u everything you need to know to keep your baby safe- you will need to do your own research on your pet.

An hour before my dogs grooming appointment the groomer called and canceled on me. This is the second time this has happened at this establishment. We planned our day around this appointment and to have them cancel an hour in advance was a real disappointment. Just seems like no one wants to work anymore. Now a days businesses care more about their employees then servicing and doing right by their customers.

Yesterday my adolescent dog had his first visit at a new vet in Macedon. He'd already had a rough day being accidentally woken up early and being aware of our new foster kittens but not allowed to meet and kiss them. I figured what better way to treat him after a stressful day than a trip to the pet store on our way home? We wandered around, picking out some nice chews from their selection of options, which was very good by the way. I hit up some clearance stuff; I always love a good clearance section. Then we were walking down an aisle and suddenly all of the stress of his day hit him. Right in the lower intestines. Like a freight train. It was both copious and smelly. And not just the usual bad smell of diarrhea, but a smell that is so strong and foul it feels hot in your nose. The staff would not let me help them clean it, instead sacrificing one of their own who volunteered, not knowing what they were getting into. It's a bad sign when a pet store employee who likely has experienced a range of bad smells is gagging and struggling to breathe as they pick up a mess. Whatever she gets paid is not enough for the sin my dog left for her on that linoleum. She will likely have nightmares about that smell. Please give her a raise. After apologizing about 500x we paid for our treats and headed out, likely leaving behind a story of the Worst Poop Ever.

If I could give negative stars, I would. We brought our two dogs for grooming. I received a text saying there was a "slight problem" so it was going to take longer. It turns out that the slight problem was that they CUT OFF PART OF MY DOG'S EAR. Thankfully my vet saw her even though they were 10 minutes away from closing. The full damage wasn't known until the vet cleaned up her ear, but even at the store there was blood everywhere. I had to bring her home with a compression sock around her head just to help stop the bleeding. The store told me it was just a nick, but once cleaned up by the vet, it was easy to see that a piece of her ear was gone. They weren't even supposed to be cutting the ears because I told them to leave the ears long.On top of this, the rest of the job they did was terrible. They are buzzed down in places, the face doesn't look like they cleaned or cut much of anything, and the ears are cut absurdly short, uneven and choppy, and look they they were cut with a dull butter knife.They have been groomed countless times, and I have groomed them myself. I have never seen such a horrid job, and I have NEVER seen a groomer disfigure an animal. The manager at the time was apologetic and tried to help. But it is very clear that the groomers that day were nowhere near trained enough and/or have not been vetted as having the skills needed to groom animals. They appeared to struggle with another dog as we were dropping off our dogs and had some very odd and unprofessional comments about dog behavior. Maybe those were warning signs.I am incredibly furious and saddened. This is completely inexcusable. I would HIGHLY recommend against grooming here.UPDATE: The manager has reached out and is trying to do what she can to rectify the situation.

Great, considerate and friendly staff. They will help load any heavy bags, and help locate any pet item you can't find. If they don't have what you are looking for they will call other Pet Supplies Plus store to locate it for you. They are knowledgable about their products and can help find whatever you are looking for. They truely love pets of all shapes and sizes.

I have been coming to this store for awhile now.I always have had awesome service. I have to give a shout out to Lisa, one of the employees that you will usually catch on the register. From the moment I started going to Pets Supplies, Lisa was on the first register checking me out. She is the kindest, sweetest and compassionate person. She always has a huge smile on her face and anytime someone enters the store she always acknowledges the customers with a HELLO and HOW ARE YOU. I tell you not too many places are that friendly anymore. She is a hard worker and always willing to help you out with something. I wish there were more people like Lisa, the world would be a better place. It's a great and friendly place to shop.

I usually do curbside pickup and love it.This weekend I went into the store to buy food and give my dog a much needed bath.I have literally always have great experiences with this store.But this weekend...The staff were amazing.So helpful!So knowledgeable!So nice.A gentleman helped me pick out a new dog food..My senior dog finally ate a meal without me begging her to eat haha.Thank you so much!!The girls working in the front were so sweet.Really appreciate you all.

Their grooming staff has gotten incredibly rude. Called to get some information about the products they use and the girl who answered was incredibly flippant and kept cutting me off. Wouldn't even let me ask my questions. They used to be super friendly. No idea what happened.

We have a puppy with a bit of a sensitive stomach and the staff here is always great with recommendations or even returns. We’re going through a process of elimination to figure what foods are good for our pup and they have been very generous with us. The selection, price and staff are all great. Will continue to go here gladly!

I have always had a good experience. So excited about their new dog washing coupon. Wish the dog wash had a hook on both sides. Did recently speak to a manager about how it can be fixed.. Now to see if it is corrected. My dog keeps stepping into drain and it looks like she could cut her foot or get it stuck. I didn't realize the metal platform can move and cover drain. So make sure it is over drain. Was disappointed they changed the water hose. It no longer has shampoo attached. I heard a part isn't being made anymore which is disappointing. Now baths take longer but still not as long as home. Staff is always helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Make sure if you are signed up for their rewards program to check your email for coupons or search for coupons on your phone before you check out. Some brands offer online coupons as well. I really like shopping here.

Brought my dog Sasha here for a couple sessions of deshedding treatments while I am moving and I will say that every staff member here is so sweet and helpful and the groomer that we have been scheduling with is Kate. Kate is polite, professional, and such a sweetheart! Knowing that my dog is excited to come here is very comforting!

whilel this place seems to have an unending supply of various types of dog food every single time I have been to this store, which has been many as it's near my home, they are out of the brand of dog food that I use. I don't know but it would seem that it would be easy to figure out how much needs to be ordered so that it doesn't run out. moreover while they have offered to order it for me once they are out, it takes about a week to get it in so that's not helpful as my dog needs to eat still during that week. the staff are all very nice but something needs to be figured out as to how to appropriately order product. I moved it to another store in order to obtain it and I only had a problem there one time but now that store has inverted and when I last went there to get the food they too were out.

Love this store and the helpful employees. They have guarantees and returns for products that didn't workout for your pets too so you can buy with confidence. I like that, especially when pets have as many reactions as people to food these days. I prefer this store to the larger co names.
