What a wonderful staff and amazing people they have working there! The woman Suzie that showed me my kitten told us the price and we were a little weary but then decided to adopt the cat which we thought was a girl and I was at the pet store when she called and told me I would be getting my kitten for free because of a mix up and that he was actually the male of the two cats. Mind you I didnāt mind paying because I already had but the fact that they called and told me and refunded my money just shows it is an honest shelter that truly cares about their animals finding good homes! Our new companion is home now bringing so much joy to my 5 year old son! And heās the most precious little kitten ever! I highly recommend lollipop farm if I adopt another animal it will only be through them! Thank you lollipop for the amazing experience oh and not to mention the kitten came fixed and vaccinated!!!! So happy with the outcome of our trip there. *update* since we adopted our kitten Iāve needed some paperwork I misplaced or didnāt have and they got back to me with everything I needed the SAME day both times! And today I was on a time crunch and sure enough they came through with what I needed even though they opened late in the day! They still sent everything along AND called me to make sure I got it! This place is absolutely amazing and the staff truly cares for the animals even when they leave the facility! Again thank you our kitten is wonderful and loving! Even adjusted so wonderful to my 5 year old!

I'm 34 years old. On my 7th birthday I adopted my dog April (then known as Chloe), a black lab / Brittany mix, from Lollypop Farm. April was a young puppy at the time and lived 14 years from the date of her adoption. She quickly became my best friend. In fact, at some times during my childhood, she was my only source of comfort. One of my favourite memories is how she would walk down the hallway every night, stopping in every bedroom of the house to make sure every member of the family was okay before walking back to her crate to go back to sleep. To this day, I have never met a better dog.Thank you for making that possible, and I'm glad to see that you're able to continue that mission all these years later! To anyone considering adopting through Lollypop Farm, please do.

Just adopted Mimi today. A quick and easy process, Lollypop Farms gave us all the necessary paperwork and a few days worth of food - along with a bunch of other vet resources and store coupons. Mimi is especially friendly and has very quickly adjusted to her new home. She took about 10 minutes exploring our living room and kitchen before she was ready for play time! After eating a good bowl of food and drinking quite a bit of water, sheās settling in for a nap on the couch, as you can see. We couldnāt be happier to have Mimi as a part of the family!

Lollypop Farm is a caring and special place for many animals like the one we adopted and named "Mr. Blue" he was rescued by Lollypop workers when people in a metro-Rochester neighborhood said they had seen him wandering around and no one had claimed him as their pet. When I first saw Mr. Blue at Lollypop, he seemed scared, yet allowed me to pet him. When my husband came to meet him he nearly jumped into my husbands arms. We have had Mr. Blue for 2 1/2 years now. He remains very loving and close toward my husband and now is loving toward me too. He lets me know when he would like me to give him a "Greenie" treat and now lets me know when he would like me to brush him. The anxiety he initially showed by frequently throwing up still happens when there are unusual noises outside our house or people with whom he is not familiar. We give him a diet that is easier to digest with pumpkin that he seems to very much enjoy it. He is a very aware, playful and loving kitty. We are so very happy we adopted Mr. Blue who was 5 or 6 years old when we adopted him.

We walked around the walking path to see the animals. Lots of the animals were far and hard to see but it is a pleasant walk. Thereās a book spread out through the path. My baby saw: pigs, horses, cows, goats, emus, turtles. At the adoption center we saw some cats, turtles, bunnies, mice. We also bought some toys for our dog there.

Last January, we adopted our dog, Carter from Lollypop. Shortly after getting him, it turned out he had heartworms though he tested negative at the shelter. Lollypop refused to pay for treatment as he was negative there. Our vet has ever had a shelter refuse treatment. She's had clients that their dogs have gotten heartworm years afterwards and the shelter they were adopted from paid for the treatment. My vet couldn't get through to the shelter. When I got through, I was told that that I would be transferred to their clinic. I never was. We've also been given the run around on some of the information on Carter that we've asked about multiple times. It's been a nightmare dealing with Lollypop. Carter just finished his treatment and is back to his normal self.

I found 6 kittens emaciated and flea ridden. My family took them in gave them baths and treated them. I reached out and was given a call back about snip program. I stated scenario and said website says 90 for females 25$ non refundable deposit. I asked is there any other way to help with situation? Other than 90x6=540 plus deposits for 6 cats is 150$. She told me 25 is part of 90 "were not trying to be sneaky and the cost is already significantly reduced". I said wouldn't you want to help more by keeping cats off of streets? I was met with robotic responsesregurgitated

A friend is having her dog put down today and was told several times that nobody is allowed to be with her dog when she is put down. How is a Humane society that supposedly loves animals, prohibits even one family member to be with their beloved pet when it is put down. It is unthinkable. I used an in home service for my dog, but other people do not have that option and need to use Lollypop. I know they are busy, so even a 15 min. time limit is better than nothing. How sad that they take dog away from family and do not let them in. However, if they want to return to buy a dog, you bet they are allowed in. Hope people go to their vet or in home services for a humane treatment.

Exceptional experience all around. Knowledgeable, friendly staff, clean facility, and the animals appeared very well-cared for. Olivia was wonderful!

This place has really changed over the years. I was applying and writing the SNIP program for several months and whoever was responding was very rude and unwilling to help or do her job. She purposely kept putting my dog on the waiting list once it opened up after several months and took forever to respond. Will never recommend or support ever again. Thankfully other places were willing to help.

Volunteered here for years (cats, horses) and learned more than I expected to! Very high level animal care and behavior help. Then I fostered and adopted two cats. Was treated so individually and given so much.

This place is amazing! The whole experience was just smooth and very organized. I would highly recommend getting any new family members from here. This is our story....We recently added a new member to our family. His name is Diesel and he is just the missing puzzle piece that we needed. He is definitely a big lap dog (at 79 lbs) and we adopted him from Lollypop Farm. We looked at a couple of other dogs but I kept coming back to him. He really looked sad and just wanted some love. We requested a meet and greet once we realized that he would adapt well in our home. Lollypop told us that our big guy didn't like toys, but when he comes in the meet and greet he grabs a toy and starts chowing down. He had so much personality explode out that I was hooked. We definitely had found our newest member. They provided vaccinations, microchipping, toys, food, collar, and a vet visit free! Diesel has been a wonderful addition to our family and we couldn't be happier. My son tells everyone he has a new "brother"Please don't get upset when they tell you that an animal won't be the best fit for your family. They are placing these fur babies in homes that will work with the animals personality, not yours. They want what is best for them, not you. Understand that.

I just adopted a wonderful girl named Winnie! Our family's dog just crossed the Rainbow Bridge(Johnny-a Golden) and I found Winnie online, scheduled an appointment, and the rest is history. Winnie is a white 47 lb. 4 1/2 yr old doll.Lollipop Farm is a wonderful place. Please go there and adopt. All of these animals deserve loving homes to live out their days, whether they're young or senior. And you will have a new best friend who loves you unconditionally!

Great family friendly place to visit with animals. Staff could be more helpful with questions and being friendly. The animals are the love of the farm. Supporting our animal friends so a home can be found for them and they can be showered with lovešŗššŗ

I really enjoyed my visit to Lollypop Farms. The animals appeared to be well taken care of, and the workers look out for their health (you can't just pet most of the animals, a way to prevent the spread of any illness). I personally found this to be a bummer as I love petting animals, but I understood why. You can pet the goats though, which is a great experience for all ages. The goats themselves are quite friendly, and love to be pet! Walking around the outdoor trail and seeing the larger animals (horses, pigs, ducks, large birds, etc.) was very nice

I've had the pleasure to adopt at cat from lollypop, the staff is always professional, courteous, and helpful, and it's clear their priority is the safety and wellbeing of the animals there. They helped me find my best friend, Nugget, when I went to adopt a cat I had a few cats in mind, however, none of them seemed to be a good fit in person, so the staff brainstormed for a moment recommended a different cat and it was love at first site! I've had Nugget ever since then. I highly recommend and support this shelter.

I was banned from taking barn cats because they tend to move to other barns in the area.I took them in to save their lives but that doesn't matter because they don't stay in my barn..Makes no sense...

My family adopted several animals from Lollypop while growing up in the area. They always had clean facilities and knowledgeable staff. They have great programs with local schools for vocational skills. The grounds and facilities are well kept and easy to access.

Terrible experience trying to adopt a second kitten from there. Went during the week to see the available cats, saw an adorable 2 mo with the same energy as our cat and they told us to come back the next day right at opening when sheād be available. Good thing we called because she wasnāt there at all, she was being moved to one of the satellite locations. Told us she should be there around noon, so we spent our lunch break going there ready to adopt. The employees at that location were completely clueless and didnāt know if/when she would be getting there, but told us we should call later. We called and she was adopted as soon as she got to the store, whenever that actually was. Why make adoption so tedious when there are so many cats in need of homes, very disappointing.

We took our family in the hopes of adopting a dog we saw online. The staff was very courteous and pleasant to speak with. Although the dog had been adopted, we spent time walking through the dog and cat areas, our youngest loved the bunnies, mice, and turtle too! There is also a huge outdoor area to see goats, pigs, horses, and emu. For the pets that are up for adoption, they seem to provide as much information as possible to try and fit them with a good home.

There was an injured young cat visiting us for several months. We borrowed a gentle trap & took her to Lollypop Farm. The intake person was so kind & understanding. She explained the entire process to us.They have an Amazon wish list for those who want to help them. We just received new towels, so we donated our clean & gently used towels.

I went to a lollipop farm with my kids to adopt either a cat or kitten today for their free adoption event, didnāt matter what kind of gender it was at that point, they said that I was denied adoption because I made a irate comment Tuesday at Webster Pet Supplies Plus about female kitten that I wanted. As of and told them that I had my 4 year old son who has autism and I didnāt seem to care at all ā¦ I said that I was sorry for my actions on Tuesday ā¦.Right now Iām at a lawyer office to file a lawsuit againstā¦ lollipop with staff regret put me on the do not adopt listā¦ They treat me with no dignity or respect ā¦

Came to visit some animals to help de-stress during finals week. The petting area is currently closed to the public, but we could still view the animals from outside the pens. Got to see an old pup get a adopted while we were there so that was nice to see.

We got a dog for our family specifically my son who loves animals. She attacked my son and he was very lucky not to lose his eye. He was monitored and just tried to pet her and was attacked in the first few days. She obviously cannot be in the house since she is aggressive and violent to children. We tried giving her the benefit of the doubt and rehome her with someone who would never have children around since she was fine with adult males. When no one wanted her, and it started getting cold, we tried rescues and shelters, all who said she could not be rehomed or even taken in due to history of a vicious attack. I contacted the county to figure out what I was supposed to do and they said she needed to be euthanized by a private vet due to the attack. No private vets would do it because they werenāt taking new patients and wouldnāt see a dog at all that was a new patient, we called every single vet in Wayne county, Monroe county, and even out in Penn Yan which was the suggestion of Verona street. Every single one said to contact lollypop for euthanasia. The lady who did the behavioral euthanasia form agreed euthanasia would definitely be on the table with all of her behavior and they would call in a few days after the pictures and form was reviewed. Lollypop called back and said āthereās no evidence for euthanasiaā. THIS is why people dump pets. Vets and even shelters that are supposed to be there as a last resort option are refusing to take dogs or handle situations. Glad to see they donāt value the safety of humans OR animals. YOU lollypop are the reason for this mess. I will be informing the vets and county about this joke of a āshelterā.

We adopted our new family member from Lollypop. He is the best dog and we are already so in love. Lollypopās organization is amazing and the process was very thorough and comforting. They do a great job of making sure you are a good fit for your pet. They also take the time to explain advice and input from the behavior team. As a kid, I grew up with dogs, but this is MY first dog on my own as an adult. Now at 30 years old, I can tell you this will not be my last adoption from here. We are so lucky to have Lollypop farm in our community. Thank you for everything your organization does! We canāt thank you enough for our new best friend.
