Beautiful family owned farm. They have tons of activities for the kids like a corn maze, slide, hay ride, pumpkin launcher and a scavenger hunt. They also have cute animals, a farm store and a place to order food and drink. The apple cider donuts are amazing!

Such a amazing place to brings your kids to get their first pumpkin! They have a snack area and sell food and drink. A ride on the wagon, maybe a trip to the tree house on the woodline. All around a great experience! 100% recommended for everyone

So much fun for the whole family. I think Dad had more fun. The price is amazing, $5 a person. There's great food at the snack bar and the cider donuts are wonderful. My kids didn't want to leave the huge slide. That's why this is our favorite pumpkin patch.

This is the spot I always went as a kid. It is always a great trip. The property is large with many things to do for adults, kids or families. There is a pumpkin cannon, tree house, farm animals, corn maze, a tractor kids and pumpkins! They have cider and cider donuts in the barn with a snack bar.

We have been coming here for years (recommended by family), and we cannot say enough good things about Pick a Pumpkin. It's always fun, clean, more than reasonable prices, awesome pumpkins of every size, gorgeous views, delicious apple cider donuts and every single employee I've come in contact with there is knowledgeable and kind. The tractor ride is our favorite!! Thank you for opening your property every year so we can have this experience 😊

We come here every year for the Mud Run, and enjoy the fall festivities. Great fun for the whole family, and only 40mins from Albany. A+

If I could rate it 0 I would. I’ve been going to this pumpkin patch for years & have always loved it & had good experiences. Today, there were no activities open and it didn’t mention it on the website. They are luring people in to just buy pumpkins. I bought a $10 pumpkin & they are only $3 at Aldi & Walmart. I didn’t get a receipt, and I was chased down by a curly haired woman who accused me of stealing! I was mortified. Also got spoken to because we parked along the side of the patch because our mother is handicapped. I will never return. In response to Pick a Pumpkin Patch's response: I read your first comment and was prepared to come back with my family this year to give you another chance. I was not notified that you had replied. After reading that you spoke to the employee, and she thought we stole the other pumpkins? My sister paid a different employee for those. You should never accuse a loyal customer of stealing when you have no proof and you don't give receipts!! We looked forward to coming back every year but haven't missed it in the past years as we prefer your competition now, Ellms Family Farm. Ellms is much more fun for the kids and family with the big bouncing pillow, corn mazes, ziplines, and trains! At least if the adults have to pay for themselves, there are activities for them too!

They really have a nice place here. Plan on about 2 hours to see it all. Do not skip the tree house in the way back, it's pretty cool but far away and people miss it. If you hear them firing up a compressor, head over to the pumpkin cannon by the barn - they are going to shoot a pumpkin in the air and it's pretty cool to watch (don't watch the cannon, watch well ahead of the cannon or you will miss the pumpkin flying through the air)

Geared to younger kids. The corn maze is a path through corn. If you want a challenge this isn't it. Have cutouts for pictures, pumpkin canon, slide, a few young animals to pet, peddle cars, sunflowers, and frisbee golf. Non of the activities cost extra and parking was free. The Apple cider donuts were very good. Cake style with a crust of sugar and cinnamon. Fries were just fries. The cheese they use is the runny kind you put on nachos. The chili was good. They have a small area to sell odds and ends including crafts. They also have a t-shirt you can buy. We got some very nice pumpkins.

Visited for the first time with my son's class. It was such a great trip. It's a beautiful property with lots to do. We even got to go inside and hear a bit about the history but was entertaining for the kids. A field trip but so educational. We loved it and will be visiting with just our family next year!!

We have been coming to this farm for years. Always a great time, spending the day enjoying the simpler things in life... Appreciate the family opening their property and allowing the neighborhood and surrounding communities to enjoy the fruits of their labor! Now, my grandchildren are taking their children... it will be a sad day, when this place stops doing what they do. Pricing is very reasonable, and to spend the day here is priceless... the memories become treasures, you can't put a price on family time or happiness. Thank you for all the years we have enjoyed your farm!!❤

The pick a pumpkin pumpkin patch has been providing entertainment in schoharie county and surrounding areas for generations. For those who grew up coming here, it also provides nostalgia. The $10 admission fee is more than reasonable considering the manpower it takes to run it with minimum wage being over $13/hr and the ever increasing prices of items needed run the pumpkin patch such as ingredients, plant seeds, fuel, insurance, and materials. All activities are also included with the admission fee unlike other pumpkin patches where activity costs are separate from admission fees. Paul miraculously manages to juggle his full time job as well as being a full time farmer to prepare the farm during the summer to ensure those who are long-time visitors and those who are newcomers have a friendly entertainment atmosphere to enjoy for now and generations to come. Countless hours are spent to make the pumpkin patch happen and I’m grateful for the hours spent so we can enjoy the special little farm.

It was so much fun for the whole family! $5 a person is totally worth it for how much fun we all had. Go cart bikes, hay castle, sliding down the hill together, watching a pumpkin get blasted across a corn field, corn maze, rolling down a hill and a hay ride to top off a great evening. We will be back next year for sure!

By far the best pumpkin patch I've ever been to. So much to do at such a reasonable admission fee, only $3, and our 2 year old was free. Spent all afternoon there, and the kids still didn't want to leave. Awesome tree house, the kids LOVED the giant slide and peddle carts, the corn pit was a hit, there were animals, a tractor ride, plus much more. My husband LOVED the pumpkin cannon. Even the food wasn't over priced, and the cider donuts were AMAZING. I seriously can't say enough good things about this place. And all the activities were FREE! Loved it, will definitely go every year.

I went the day before Halloween 2017 with my Grandson and daughter and son in law. My 3 year old grandson loved the hayride and picking a pumpkin right on the vine. Exploring the 🌳 tree house, playing in the castle, riding the pedal tractors and sliding down the big hill. He saw animals that he had only read about in books and they were well cared for content animals that interacted with him. When we were leaving he was ready to go on the hayride again and repeat the whole adventure! Thank you to the owners for this magical sweet place that they are sharing with all the children.

We cannot say enough great things about our family experiences at this wonderful place. We took both our children there for many years and now are looking forward to bringing our grandchildren. It is breath taking & staffed by equally kind folks.

Very nice place for the family. They have a good size treehouse, pedal carts, hay maze, and place to eat. There's more stuff too and it's $5 a person to do all that which makes it a great deal.

Pumpkin cannon was really great. Cider donuts are cheap, "Maize Maze" was really cool, and even going super late in the season for pumpkins we still found a few to pick. Even as 21 years old, it was lots of fun and I'd come back next year!

Been going for 20 years and I have to ve honest. The last few years it's gone way down.they charge my 3 year old $5.00 $40.. just to park. It's gotten very expensive .the pumkin were rotten in the field .$20.00 for a pumkin outrageously high. Corn field moldy the chili watered down and cold .we use to go with my whole family (45) this year 15 it's just gotten to expensive and I miss Grandma and grandfather. The next generation is just getting greedy.its not at all busy like it was 5 years ago.we will miss it had some great memory . I am not putting your kid through Harvard I have my own family to support. $5.PERSON TO GET IN A 2 AND 3 year old wow how about $5 a car get a grip
