This was better than expected. The grounds are lovely. Many trails to observe all the plants and trees. The sculptures were cool. The meditation garden was a great place for our picnic lunch. Very much enjoyed walking the labyrinth.

Beautiful and scenic spot not too far from the Cap. Region. 30-40 mins from Albany. I wanted to bring my kids to see a botanical garden nearby, Landis Arboretum came up during my search. We went this week, so I think it’s a bit early still for all the real blooms. But it was still a beautiful place to visit and explore. A little muddy still but the open area, pavilion, and sculptures were fun to look at. We will be back when the weather gets a bit warmer! Also, bring snacks! There’s not a whole lot nearby and the town is quite small.

Nice trails for a moderate hike and a beautiful spot for a picnic lunch. Would have liked to see some blooms around though.

This is a very peacefulplace in a park-like setting. The wild flowers are beautiful and the grounds are well-maintained. The trails are great too and the Flora is well labeled. We will definitely be back as the trails just go on and on.

It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to get back to nature. It’s quiet and peaceful. It’s also dog friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful and well kept nature trails. A little off the beaten path and away from the hooligans who like to graffiti things. A really nice place to go for a hike and a picnic.

I parked in visitor parking across the street and walked to the arboretum. I went on a Tuesday and I was one of the only people there. Very nice trails and lots of plant species. Bring bug repellent if you plan on walking the trails!

One of my favorite places to visit. Very rare to see other people, it's always fun to see what critters you sight while out walking on the trails.

Great day trip for the whole family. Avoid the Bass trail. It was a bit overgrown but the rest was excellent!

Nice spot in the countryside for a nature walk/light hike on a beautiful day. The Woodland trail is less than a mile with lots of educational signage. Bring a picnic. Lots of spots with tables to sit and enjoy beautiful views across the Schoharie Valley.

Really beautiful arboretum! We went for their plant and book sale and had a lot of great finds. Afterwards we went on a few of the trails and really enjoyed the old growth forest as well as all of the information they have. It's a great place to bring kids to teach them the importance of conservation.

Absolutely magical place to experience nature any time of year, however I highly recommend you visit in spring! I can say enough about the dedicated individuals that run this place! A nice place to have an event or wedding too!

What's not to love, photos taken from the overlook. Great tails to hike, went early spring contains all different trees from around this area and more, meditation garden, maps on site. Donations appreciated of course. Really not enough room to elaborate. Owners are lovely people.

Well marked trails (even if a bit muddy after many days of rain). Pretty open vistas with views of the sunrise and local town. Signs along the path provide a mini lesson about the habitat. Stop at the musical bridge and make a little music on your hike.

Landis Arboretum is worth a visit. I went earlier this year, so not all the spaces were available due to Covid. However, the trails present were well maintained, and the information I learned from the plaques was interesting. I enjoyed traveling along the various trails. I especially enjoyed the art on the buildings and the sculptures. It was an unexpected treat. The trails are easy to hike and are family friendly.

My girlfriend and I went there for the semi annual plant sale. It was a very crowded event, and the parking attendants were very well organized. My girlfriend insisted on hiking on a trail that led to the rhododendrons first thing, and the volunteers were very accommodating. I didn't find any plants that I was really looking for, but my girlfriend bought a nice single red peony that she liked. We also ate lunch there. My girlfriend had a very nice tasting cheeseburger, and my grilled chicken sandwich was superb!!! (And the Millionaire Bar was wonderful too.) Afterwards we went to the Carrot Barn, and Apple Barrel stores nearby. A full and exhausting day in the heat, but a nice day anyway.

This is one of the most beautiful arboretums I have ever visited. Walking trails abound. Wander through the gardens. Landis Arboretum also has an annual spring plant sale. Many other events occur throughout the year. Very child-friendly. Memberships are aviailable.

I went there for my nephew's Wedding let me tell you that the view of the Schoharie valley was so nice a special place indeed. We are looking forward to coming back to hike the trails and take in the fall foliage worth the ride for sure.
