When I want a sandwich, I choose Country Store. I work an honest long day. Construction. I want to feel comfortable when I'm home or on the road. So, I choose Country Store because it's right. Very nice people, the people you'd expect for service. They have your drinks, your candy, your gum, your coffee, and your sandwiches. And importantly, they have your comfort right there. I personally give them an 11/10. Go and make your day at Country Store!

When you enter, you are overcome by the smell of good things cooking. Every square inch of wall space is covered with the different variations of sandwiches and other meals you can order. I just tell them what I want on my meal and they'll fix it up for you. There's a good chance that it already is one of the catchy names posted somewhere.

Just a great hometown store. The lunch and breakfast sandwiches are made fresh. You can get the basics or choose from a ton of specialty sandwiches. The prices are what you would expect to pay from a good hometown deli. The owners are local and are always very friendly and they acknowledge all the regulars and even remember what they order. Just an over all good place for a bite to eat

Great little local deli. The owners are really nice, great to talk to. They have garden fresh ingredients and make amazing sanwiches. Is a cool looking place inside and out. Very nice local feel. Great breakfast or lunch options, and the drinks are nice and cold. The service is great. They have some groceries there and comic books aswell.

For YEARS when we lived in the area I'd go to TCS all the time. Now that we only visit from time to time I make sure to make at least one trip. In the past several years, siblings Dave and Carol have made wonderful changes to the store including benches to eat inside on rainy/cold/really hot days. They have an amazing selection of breakfast sandwiches as well as ones at lunch too and will always custom make yours. The coffee is good and fresh and it's one of those places so rapidly disappearing from our national landscape-a family owned business lovingly cared for and always striving for the highest standards. Oh yeah, they have good ice cream pops and drinks but no bathroom. There is also a minimum $15 charge for credit cards.

The Country Store / Deli is on route 9W in Esopus just up the road on the corner past the Esopus Fire House if you are driving north on 9W. The Country Store is ran by brother and sister team Dave and Karol who have been very covid safe and have always kept their store cleaned daily for the many years of doing business. They make countless amounts of customized or personalized breakfast and lunch sandwiches(hot and cold) not to mention their home made salads, soups and chili (depending on availability for that day). They offer many great(including local choices) of beverages and mainly use Boars Head meats and Deisings Bakery in the making of their sandwiches. Please remember that two employee's, not a dozen work there and may need a heads up on large or out of the ordinary order's. My advice, CALL AHEAD as I often do. AGAIN, GREAT DELI FOR BREAKFAST / LUNCH SANDWICHES, HOME MADE SALADS (soups or chili when available) and their DELICIOUS COFFEE TOO! Lottery tickets, some little gifts, select groceries and cigarettes among other items are also available.

The family owned and operated store is a staple of the community. Dave and karol make the absolute best sandwiches in the county!This store has a lil bit of everyting...whatever ya need, they may just have it.Lotto drinks beer and sandwiches....what more could you want?Karol is a delight and a pleasure to talk with while you wait for your delicious concoction of meat and cheese grilled or otherwise.Go there and try it out. Worth the drive from anywhere.

great deli and convenience store a bit pricey but you are paying for the convenience of having a nice close store usually not too busy yiur in and out i love the owner he is always very happy and pleasant and whenever i go in he knows what i want befire i have to say anything the kind if place where locals go and everone knows each other including the owner nice to stop after sunday mass at sacred heart catholic church which is right next door
