Home Depot is, Home Depot. In other words they're all pretty much the same except some are more organized than others or maybe some have better customer service. This one is not too bad actually. I've been coming here for the past 15 years and I've never had any issues. Their nursery department is not the best because unfortunately it's not as well maintained or cared for as it should be. Many flowers are over watered or crushed and crammed. The outdoor section of the nursery is better maintained. The employees are friendly but it's always generally hard to find someone that works there when you're in an aisle looking for something in particular. I don't really go there often enough and when I do I don't spend a lot of time in there. Clearly I'm there to pick up necessary items that I need for a project so I'm usually in and out. I do like this location, it's convenient and it's in a plaza with other stores that I enjoy so I'm not complaining. Most of their items are always in stock, I've purchased my refrigerator and stove from there and had a good experience. No issues here.

The Home Depot staff is helpful only problem is the security contractor that works for this Home Depot very Rude and are on a power trip which made my last visit very uncomfortable. The ladyboy security guard who is 6’9 wants everybody to know her or his pronouns like i wasn’t born with X-ray eyes like Superman . Whoever I see in front of me I will identify that person based on their dressing not there personal desires.

This Particular Home Depot never picks up the phone, I would call countless times and even call different departments but they never pick up their line, the one or two times they did pick I was put on hold for 40 minutes before they hung up. I’ve tried to call the garden department, Desk, and even more they just never pick up the phone highly unprofessional for a place like Home Depot. I

I went in looking for a new lightbulb for my lamp and had no idea what to look for as it was very small and had specific requirements. The guy that worked in that department just pointed me to LED bulbs and walked away. Then I came across Roberto who was more than happy to help despite it not being his department. He took the time to show me my options and help me get the best value. Thanks for going out of your way Roberto!

Best home depot location in Long island and NYC that I have been to. The entire staff was helpful. No matter who I talked to, they found me exactly what I needed. The paint and hardware areas were especially helpful in finding me alternatives to stuff like primer and razors because I had a large order.Commack, Westbury, Manhattan, and many other locations I have been to, fail with customer service in comparison. Either I get rudeness, the staff member has no idea what I am looking for, or they recommend the wrong items...this place had zero of it. Also one of the few places that has people outside working the shopping carts...I never see anyone do anything outside.Very impressed.

Worst Home Depot! You order an item for Curbside pickup, wait almost 20min, walk inside there’s no line but two reps at the desk. I proceed to tell them Ive been outside for 20min for Curbside pickup and then they proceed to tell me -I have to go get a cart-. Why do I have to get a cart?! Then I go get a cart and they both give conflicting statements of where my item is, then they give it to me which was behind them the whole time. Then I rolled out my item to my car. Whats the point of Curbside if they’re not even doing their OWN job. Ridiculous! Wasted my time! Lazy / clueless workers.

I haven't been here un a long time, but today I decided to stop by to purchase three items, just three! I found out that they replaced all the cashiers with machines and that caused long lines at check out. It took me 30 mins to finally reach the check out actual entrance and another 5 to find a machine. I don't think I will come back. I will just head out to lowes because it is a total waste of time! Self check out makes sense for clothing stores, food related industries, you cannot fully automated a business that's selling construction materials of various types where people come to buy a variety of different things! It's a waste of time and clientele.So don't waste your time visiting this home depot. I will visit others in the tri-state area and will see if it is the same model.

I'm at this Home Depot a lot. Like the big parking lot. Find the staff there some just OK to many very helpful. Wide variety of items with good prices. I need to remove one star due to a web listing saying, i.e.. "57 in-stock," then arriving there to find none, zip, zero, with staff telling me simply "they're gone" or "they're on Order".Another little bug is that the bins/shelves are often a mess, so it takes going thru stuff to find the size, model, etc of what one wants. But! This is not Home Depots' fault! This is customer doing, and it would take an army to put stuff back where it belongs... 24/7. Wish peeps were more considerate.

Today I had the best experience at home Depot Elmont because of a young associate named Mark in the home appliance section. He asked me if I needed assistance and then took his time to answer all my questions. I asked for his name in the event he would get commission for a large purchase. I learned he gets no commission. He was being helpful because it is in his character to do so. Home Depot you have a gem.

I went to cut a key... I was waiting for 1 hour at the key booth. The associated were nowhere to be found. I asked on young lady with silver dreads for help. She said give her 5 minutes. An hour later....Next thing I see is her dodging me while she put her coat on and scurrying away like a racoon. Tha key takes 2 minutes. I stopped two more people who I heard on the intercom paging someone. I finally asked the next person for the manager. Within two minutes sh cut my key. Try to spot a associate in the pics. And no they weren't in the ilse I checked.

I frequent this location often for major purchases. I ordered curbside for a small order to avoid lines and was pressed for time. I waited 25 mins and decided to go inside to pick up since no one picked up the phone at the location. Cashier at customer service exclaimed I didn’t indicate I arrived when I clearly showed I marked the parking spot where I was located. I didn’t appreciate that I was brushed off like my purchase at the time was not important enough to be addressed properly. Poor customer service at customer service. If the location does not have enough staff to offer curbside services, management needs to do better in assessing staffing needs for their daily operations. This would produce better customer service in the long run. The staff is overworked and low morale is clearly displayed.

The home depot and all these appliances giants do the same thing. They take your money and then when its time for delivery make up all the excuses you can dream of on why they cannot complete an installation.. ita a waste of money and time

When you come here you should know you are basically on your own. If you ask for help at this location it seems as if you are bothering the sales associate. Once in a while you will find someone who is friendly.When trying to find hardware, electrical, plumbing items it can be tough (much of these items are so very disorganized)This is the closest location to me. I find myself going out of necessity. If things improve so would my review.

Excellent place to shop home goods of all sorts. They have a beautiful array of gardening tools, pots, plants, flowers, etc. . I'm mesmerized each time I visit the garden center. I don't mind waiting on line taking it all in.

The worst one by far. Customer service is non existent, no one EVER offers to help. I fill up my cart with heavy items and have to drag the cart with all my might to the car because they lock the wheels. I hate coming here.

I would love to shop at Home Depot over there but I'm afraid too many people hang out in the parking lot I technically went to America's Best didn't like the park people hanging out in the parking lot all men so I changed my mind and left

Horrible management the parking lot was flooded with water and instead of placing warning signs or shutting down the parking lot . No they left it open and 100”s of cars were lost.

The store employees are very kind, helpful and patient. I have shop at this location countless times and always had pleasant interactions with everyone including recently with Hector that went out of his way to help me out so much I wish I could give him a raise. worst home depot for online order . after 2 days still on process ,called and put on hold for 30 min never answer back. went in to store ,the pick up person says its not enough quantity , online quantity never accurate and it's my problem for not to call in to check

I come here all the time. But today we had a bad experience. Their ceiling fixtures are not inspected. One of the ceiling light fixture by the pro section almost fell onto my cousins head. I screamed watch out and he moved to the right. It scraped his left arm a bit but he's fine. If he didnt move it would smash his head. I mean its the entire lighting fixture that fell. If he didn't move, there would be a serious lawsuit against home depot. If you're the manager for this location, please inspect the ceiling fixtures on a yearly basis. Seriously!!
