This is the only store on planet earth that you cannot bring the shopping cart to your car . You guys got to be kidding me. Have mercy on the elderly. And no we do not need to ask one of your extremely slow cashiers for help . Just be a reasonable human being and allow us to push the shopping carts to our car . It’s because of things like this the world is gonna fail .

This store is going down hill fast. Shelves consistently empty. I've gone to DT in West Hempstead and the shelves are fully stocked, store is neat and clean. The Elmont DT is poorly run. Bad management. Items thrown on the floor and they seem to always be low in stock. I'll be going back to DT in Hempstead although a little further away. It's worth it. The Elmont DT seems like it doesn't care anymore about their customers

This store is consistently unprofessional, poorly stocked, and staffed with unenthusiastic or helpful employees. The line consistently wastes the time of hundreds of customers because there is often only one cashier. I come here because I live nearby. I should be able to expect quality service near my home, without having to travel outside of my neighborhood. The store is always untidy and unorganized.No one in this establishment seems to care. Therefore, I do not care to spend my money here. Farewell Elmont Dollar Tree.

This store didn't have a lot on its shelves. Customers are trying to shop, and workers are trying to unload their dolly. There has to be a better way than this. 😒 Nothing has really changed. I just left and went to another store.

Okay, one. The place is disgusting, two they do have almost anything I do need in there half of the time. A lot of the things are either open or have been messed with, they usually only have 1 cashier. The lines are way to long, and I once saw a lid take a item with him in his pocket but didn't wanna say anything. And legit the store didn't care because he took it out of the damn packaging. But, it is very reliable for black outs and drinks.

While I never ever take on to social media to give a bad review. I need to say in all the years I have shopped in my local Dollar tree in ElmontI have never come across a disrespectful and rude employee. However, today I saw someone standing in a register his back not facing me. I said excuse me are you open. Someone behind me asked the same question. Keep in mind that he is not facing the line and sometimes the light doesn't turn on and we can't see what he is doing from our point of view. Someone about to get on the line called him and ask excuse are you open? He gave me the most dirty look and said nothing but looked up at the number. (Not a single word) Not even Sorry no I'm not open, not a word. His rudeness was apparent that 3 customers were like wow he so rude. Upon leaving I had to say to him. I have say that your reaction to a simple question was very rude and not necessary. He replied back If I was opened I would have called you. again in a very rude way. I said that is obvious, however, because your back was turned and I couldn't see what you was doing I politely asked. You looking at the light and not saying anything was very rude, especially if someone is asking respectfully and that is not appropriate customer service. I then realized that he was the manager. He goes on to say It am not going to argue with you and said bye have a good day. I said WoW I cannot believe you are the manager because if your respond to customer this way, even when they ask you a simple question or express that your lack of response and action was rude, you proceed to argue and be dismissive shows the type of character you have and shouldn't be in customer service. I said I will call corporate. He said go right ahead my name is Paul. I will say Paul is rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate, and has not type of good customer services skills. It is a shame he is a manager. I said he should learn skills from the lady that works there who is always polite.

You always find what you are looking for and much more. Went for mother's day 2 for $1 cards, decorations and cleaning supplies. Shelves were sparse in some areas but always satisfied when I shop at this store.

This site is large with aisle and aisle of the low price items we look to Dollar tree for. A few new items but mostly the regulars. Parking out front, be prepared for long lines inside as folk pile the good into their carts in a store where there are limited cashiers.

2 stars for the only 2 male employees that have good customer service.The store is always a mess and items not packed out. I left there Saturday night and went back Sunday morning for balloons and the store was a mess the same way it was on Saturday. I'll drive the extra 20 mins to go to the next.

Ok so I just want to say how the store looks run down,lighting is very dime. The floors are Filthy like no one ever passed the mop since they opened,the shevels are messy everything is unorganized. Yes I do shop here and because I do I'm writing a review and giving 1 star sorry not sorry! Seems like they need a makeover ASAP I wanted to add sorry I didn't take pictures of the store so people have more of an understanding for what I post today....

It usually has what I’m looking for so can’t complain too much. Usually always pretty packed tho, and there’s often an uneven ratio of employees at checkout and customers. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait in long lines because there’s oftentimes only 2 checkout counters open regardless of how much traffic there is.

Dollar Trees return policy is that they will exchange any item with the original receipt. I came to this store with an item I wanted to exchange one day after buying it. They declined. I had to go to a different Dollar Tree to exchange the item.

This place is great for seasonal decorations just is a little messy and the stuff is always behind with the display at the shelf, manager should show herself little patients with their employees I saw/heard her yelling at the other employees.

The management of this store do not give a dam about customers.. I was on line this morning 11-15-19 the manager had my register closed so the cashier can clean up around the registers. Had over 10 customers get on to his register, when we complained informing him that we are all in a rush to get to work & that he should open additional registers, he simply ignore us all... I along with other have to leave without making our purchase... this guy shouldn't be a manager..

This is a large dollar store. Everything in the store is $1. They do not always have everything that you want or need. But there is a huge selection of items. There are holiday items for every holiday. There is a huge parking lot. I have bought Easter baskets and pails for just $1. Sometimes at the end of a holiday or season, items go on sale for half price. There is even a refrigerated section, as well as a frozen food department. The store is helpful.

I have been shopping here for a while and can usually find what I need yesterday no exception but when I checked out the cashier had her phone on and is having a very long conversation with whoever is on with her. I was really taken aback by this maybe that's way the lines are so long..
