I would prefer to give this a 0 and not a 1. We tried using a Target gift card we received from a Black Friday special we took advantage of. When trying to use it today the gentleman behind the counter was unable to scan it and make it work. When we asked if there was anyone who could help he said that clearly no one else was coming over to help. At this point we were getting pressured from a miserable lady behind us to use another payment, so we just decided to use our card instead of take advantage of the Black Friday gift card. Thanks Target, hell of black Friday special!

Target is one of my go to places. The staff is very helpful, store clean, well lit, and nicely stocked. I also like that, unlike Walmart, they provide their employees with a decent wage and benefits. Us tax payers have to subsidize Walmart employees with food stamps and other benefits because Walmart is so stingy and greedy (the Walton family). They are so insanely rich - when is enough enough?

Customer service has declined through the years and you basically have no other option but to ring yourself out most of the time. Self checkout is grossly over used in this store. For the price of goods, the least they can do is offer up some friendly cashiers.

Do they ever clean the bathrooms? They're always gross. Today one of the toilets literally was covered with poop.

Went there to pick up few groceries items and must say they are busyBut they do carry great items for home , kitchen, bath etc and price are not bad at all.Very clean store and nice staffThey have pizza hut, Starbucks and cvs inside the store.

As people are more and more flocking to the self checkouts, we need to remember there are still lanes with cashiers. I went to ones, I had, I believe 5 items. The cashier was great. She was nice and friendly. We had a chat about the shoes I was purchasing. It's nice to still be able to have that personal connection.

The cashier that helped us today was amazing and super friendly which was amazing. Also, my wife's family has always been convinced that Target prices are not competitive but we were able to purchase items at much better prices than competitors today. Thank you so much for being amazing!

I had amazing customer service from a guy working in the holiday section today. I was looking for an electrical item that was showing in stock online but was not on the shelf where the app said it would be. He pulled up the item number on his handheld and gladly ran out back to bring me what I was looking for. He was kind quick and effective! 2020 needs more people with his demeanor upbeat and happy to help. The guy impressed me enough to write this review. If you are reading this sir, I say again, thank you!!

Consumer Cellular gave me an appointment to switch out the SIM card on my 3G phone. However, the new one didn't work, and the old one then didn't work anymore either, and I was told that I had to wait for a new one in the mail, since they didn't have the model I was looking at in the store.I ended up making two calls at an hour each with Emily assisting me.Emily was very helpful and empathetic. None of this was her fault. In fact, she helped me calm down after I got really riled with CC's Customer Service (an unusual event after 10+ years with them) and needing to go out and take a walk.I will definitely give Emily 5 stars for her ability to understand my problem and willingness to help

Pick up is upfront and quick. Of course I'm going to shop anyway but if I pickup first, I do not forget!!!And because of white out snow, I check site and was able to extend pickup a day. BUT I also got an alert email, your pickup is ready with the option to extend....HOW GREAT IS THAT!!!Thank you Target

Cashier didn’t make sure we had all of our items we purchased, we didn’t get three of our items we had paid for. When we couldn’t find them I called customer service in the store and someone named Josh said I will put you through to customer service so I wait and wait, then Josh comes on the phone and says customer service and I said didn’t you put me through to customer service and he says I am customer service. How unbelievable, wasting his time and mine. I tell him what had happened with my purchases and he says he has them right there. He takes required information for me to pick them up and tells me I have until the 28th at store close to pick them up, so that only gives me 2 days to drive 25 miles to get the items I already paid for. Customer service is very poor at this store.

I just left the store. I went there for Johnsons baby oil, listerine sensitive mouth wash and underwear. They had none of these items...they said they were "out of stock". The real issue is I went there 3 weeks ago for the same items and they were out of stock then, even stranger I went 3 weeks before that too, same issue. So in 6 weeks they apparently have not been able to restock the shelves. I guess if there's me, then there are others. How soon before they close? Sat in my car in their lot and ordered everything from Amazon...it'll be here tomorrow! Terrible service all round.

I love target. The only downside to this one is that the "dollar" section is almost always picked over. I get it, it's a popular section but every time I come in, it's basically empty. Which seems strange to me when I have come during different days of the week. The employees are very nice. The store is almost always 100% clean. They could use more large size bras in the women's section.

The customer service by Ryan in the phone department was outstanding. I was transferring a phone to the Consumer Cellular carrier and Ryan took care of everything including working with Consumer Cellular, setting up the phone settings, and transferring the contacts. Before we left the store the number was ported over and the phone was working. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Most convoluted circle reward program ever. Even your own employees, who put in a valiant effort, could not achieve getting my 20% discount on coke products this time. Fake adds, circle adds, that never seem to work at check out, therefore ripping off the customer into paying full price!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I went in for shoes and clothing in general, but unfortunately found all of the mens shoes shelves nearly empty, putting a slight damper there but otherwise all around a good store, staff and pricing.

I have always enjoyed going to this Target in Horsehead, NY. The staff is always friendly and the store always looks clean and for the most part organized, you sometimes catch them in between seasonal displays when everything is being switched out but the rest of the regular departments always look great.

My cashier, Zachery, or possibly Zachary, was excellent. He took extra time to help an older couple who were confused about a purchase and was gracious and patient. He was professional and friendly to me, and really made shopping in these trying times better.

I usually like target. they have enough cashiers so I don't have to wait in long lines and have decent products, albeit at high prices than competitors. They really annoyed me by screwing up an online transaction though. The product wasn't pulled and I spent about a half hr explaining that it was to be held to the following day, and I wasn't going to purchase the product today at a higher price. The same night I returned a 2 month old router to Walmart. no questions asked took less than 3 minsTL:DR don't expect any help if you run into a problem there.

I ordered six cases of soda and a couple of smaller things. When I arrived, there was no signage in the store for pick up. I stood in line behind five other shoppers at a cashier line to inquire where to pick up my order. When I inquired, the cashier hadn’t a clue. She sent me to the returns desk where they were nearly as mystified. Finally someone seemed to know and came out from behind a wall with a plastic bag and two of the cases. The weight was too much and the bag ripped apart. She came back two more times with two more in cases each and somehow expected me to carry all three bags (ripped and all) out to my car. Why weren’t they loaded into a cart prior to my arrival?

They have followed the bad example of Walmart saying, "f--k customer service we're going to make customers work for us, and give them crappy equipment to checkout with." They had one cashier working and four customer run machines, half of which you couldn't get to because they have them crammed close together. Might as well go to Walmart now, service is just as bad, but prices are better.

I was at your Ithaca store on Monday 12/9 at 3 pm and went to check out. Stood in line for 3 minutes and was told by your cashier that she was closing her line . Went to the only other line with a human being running the register and he told me he was also closing . My only choice was the self service check out. Unbelievable at this time of the year that I was put thru this .
