The staff is on point, polite and pleasant to deal with, meds are always on time and I'm notified, everytime never a hiccup. Always friendly and smiling, I enjoy shopping and getting my meds here. Recommend to everyone

They have a new employee in the Pharmacy who asked me if I was picking up for my DOG when I gave her my sons name. Then a month later same employee gave me an attitude when I was asking how to get a medication that was out of stock at that store. If I could give negative stars I would. This employee needs to be out of there.

On this particular visit I was just using the drive thru to pick up a prescription for my girl. It was a pleasant visit.The pharmacist working at the time recognized me from previous visits. This was pleasant as he's been helpful in the past on previous visits. Generally I find it to be nice if employees remember you from one encounter to the next. Especially if they recall your preferences. Can really make or break an encounter.After asking the appropriate questions as required & receiving appropriate answers; the pharmacist dispensed the prescription. He then politely asked form of payment & even though the amount was low; had no problem taking a credit card. After signing the receipt & marking it regarding consultation as required; he thanked me for my business. Always nice in this day to see someone being properly polite!Overall a decent experience as it generally is. Though the quality of one's encounter can vary based on what employee your dealing with. From past experiences anyway.As some employees are definitely more polite & friendly than others. I commend the employee I dealt with for having a nice polite manner. The employee made the experience 4 stars rather than say 2 or 3.

I moved to Elmira from the Rochester area about 11 years ago and what a difference. I was a Rite Aid shopper back then but I've never been in a nicer location. Their customer service is outstanding, and it's honestly one of the cleanest I've ever seen. I get all of my vaccines and prescriptions there and I couldn't ask for a better crew. I'm a customer for life!

Don't understand how to take a shift lunch so they are always staffed. Get you prescription filled somewhere else. If youre in pain or sick and get a script filled while theyre on lunch youre out of luck until they finish. Im here at 2pm waiting and they have still not returned and opened back up for me to get my script.

Absolutely horrible. Don't waste your time getting prescriptions filled here. When my old pharmacy closed I transferred my prescriptions here and three months later, I still have not been able to walk in the door and get my prescriptions one single time without a hassle. I have heard a different excuse every time. First it was that the prescriptions didn't transfer in correctly, then the next time they told me they need more than 24 hours notice to fill a prescription that is called in (what year is this?!), and twice since then they have told me they never received the prescription, even though I verified with the doctor's office and both times they had in fact received the prescription. I should also mention that they messed up a dosage amount (doubled it by listing it as each dose instead of the daily dose) for my 5 year old even when I questioned them about it because it didn't seem right. I gave her double the dose for 2 days until she started having issues from it and then I called the doctors office to verify and found out I was correct and it was listed wrong. Good thing it was just antibiotics and not something more dangerous. It's unfortunate this is the only pharmacy in Southport, guess I'll just have to drive a little further since it's still quicker than dealing with this place.

I cannot say enough about the store manager at this Rite Aid. He went above and beyond in resolving an issue I had. I highly recommend this store with its friendly staff and 5-star manager!

Dakota in the pharmacy really helped my tiny baby and I.I had to pick up perscriptions and couldn't take my baby inside the store.Dakota took the time to get the babies infant Tylenol and look for the arrowroot cookies I requested.The store was out of the cookies but Dakota was thoughtful enough to grab a substitute,that ended up really saving the day.Thank you for being thoughtful,kind and always smiling,it really makes a difference.Great job!
