The food was the best breakfast I've had at a restaurant since moving to Elmira 6 months ago.The only reason I'm not giving 5-stars is because 2 tables around us arrived after us and were almost finished with their meals by the time we were served. I will definitely go back and will hopefully update this to a 5-star review.

I love the homey atmosphere here. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and a huge menu for desserts and ice cream specialties. We went for breakfast and it wasn’t that packed, thankfully. This place can get very packed! Our waitress was nice, and attentive to our table. Prices are good, a little above average though. The food was good, our hash browns weren’t cooked all the way, the potatoes were hard. Other than that the rest of the food was really good.It is further away from the city, which makes it a nice ride. The parking can be a bit confusing but just go to the side of the building.They take all cards, or cash. ATM available as well.

They were a bit busy when we arrived, but the staff was very friendly. We ordered the corned beef omelet and the cheeseburger omelet, both were great but the corned beef.....hands down THE BEST I've had in this area. Don't be alarmed by the prices, you get alot of food and it's definitely worth it. Don't skip on the coffee, it's also pretty good. This is a cozy, comfortable restaurant with great service and great food. Very family oriented, so bring the kids!

I had the homemade cinnamon bread toast with my meat lover's omelet. It was awesome. My sister would say it was to die for.Parking: Plenty of parking on all 4 sides of the building.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.Wheelchair accessibility: Totally wheel chair accessible.

We all ordered the same dinner. Fried haddock with two sides to choose from. The fish was delicious and it was more than enough. We each brought half of it home so that we had room enough for ice cream. I gave it 4 stars because one person did not enjoy her maple walnut ice cream and it seemed to be a different recipe.

I have been a lifelong customer of Maple Lawn which is why this review is painful to write. Went here for dinner with husband this evening. Was not filled but a bit busier than expected for a Tuesday. The host sat us promptly, and the waitress took our drink orders and dinner order in a timely fashion. I ordered the special chicken and biscuits, husband ordered the Rachel. Sat and watched every customer in the resturant get orders except us. Even folks who came in after us. We were a table of two so not sure where the breakdown in orders happened but simply not acceptable. We ultimately paid for two soft drinks which were 7 plus dollars. Won't be going again. I also understand inflation and hourly wage hikes but the prices have really gone up. Cancel my customer loyalty account please!

Very good food. A bit pricier then I remember, but seems that is a trend post covid. Very attentive, friendly and helpful staff. Great variety on the menu and a lot of great ice cream flavors. Highly recommend it to everyone. Only downside is the atmosphere is a bit lacking. But your there to eat, not look around I guess. Fish Fry Fridays. 1 of the last places you can get a good liver and onions, or at least thats what my mom says. Most places it's not even on the Menu.Kid-friendliness: Good deal of ice cream flavors. Enough to handily satisfy even the pickiest youngsters

Food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend the banana French toast and the (homemade!) corned beef hash. Didn't try their desserts but they looked and sounded amazing. We'll absolutely be back!!Parking: Plentiful parking. Nice views from the restaurant.

No wonder they have been in business for over 40 years.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and pescatarian options are available, substitutions can always be madeDietary restrictions: Vegetarian, diary free, and gluten free options. Any allergies the staff is always accommodating and willing to help.Parking: Lots of parking spaces all around the building, handicap parking available as well.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment with a budget friendly kids menu, coloring sheet, and crayons. High chairs and booster seats available if needed.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access and automatic doors to get into the building. Tables can fit a wheelchair or walker easily and comfortably.

Stumbled upon this place this past Sunday, Stopped in for a quick lunch and came back in again today (Weds) Both times our Server was extremely polite and hospitable, This place is a gem.. Not at all what we were expecting totally exceeded our expectations.. Food is delicious and made with care, Atmosphere is super comfy and relaxed, today I had the Turkey Dinner it came with Mashed Potatoes gravy, Stuffing, Cranberry sauce and corn.. Every single element was perfect.Those mashed potatoes were *Chefs Kiss*They have a rewards member kinda thing which is really cool I think we have found our new favorite Diner.. THANK YOU.Ohhh also side note.We haven't tried it yet but from what I understand the Ice Cream is Homemade, Imma try next time not to be so full to try some because all the flavors look ridiculously good.

My wife and I go for breakfast all the time. They have the best pancakes around. Not to mention they make their own homemade ice cream. Definitely worth the trip. Go in the morning. Get some coffee and pancakes you won't be disappointed.
