Not worth it to come here anymore. Employees are awful with the exception of two, aisles are cluttered and you're at the mercy of the local clientele. If you don't want to do your job, quit. You've made it obvious you all hate it already and it's affecting customers wanting or not wanting to shop there.

Great store to just let your kids look and choose what ever they want and it only a dollar and a quarter , two toys or what ever and a bag of snacks for less than 5 bucks , you can't beat it , the stuff may be cheap the kids love it.

So glad to see they're getting the store back in order. It's so much easier to shop when products are displayed neatly. They no longer provide bags. Be prepared to bring your own bags or to purchase a reusable bag.

You're better off driving to the dollar tree in horseheads. The Elmora store is very dirty, unorganized, and the staff is unprofessional. They talk on their phones and use profanity launguage while they"re on the clock. This store is a dump. They need to hire better employees

A nice place to pick up inexpensive items at a reasonable price. The personnel were polite and helpful. The store was reasonably clean. This is not the case for every one of their stores. I've been to others that were less than a good experience. The Elmira store has been consistently a good experience.

I have purchased a lot of new Items from the Dollar Tree on South Main Street in Elmira. They have stocked a whole lot of new and useful items since the raised their prices to $1.25 ea. I am happy about their upgrade in products.

If you love doing crafts, candles, makeup, nail gear, and other trinkets, then this is the place to go. Everything is a dollar (plus tax, of course). Absolutely, love this store. The only problem is I spend too much time and money ... LoLUnfortunately, due to the pandemic and inflation, the Dollar Tree is no longer Everything a dollar. Everything in the store now costs $1.25.

Was there to pick up a couple things and as soon as I walk in the store you can smell weed in the store it was so strong couldn't stand the smell I won't be shopping there and it look messy hope they improve to make the store look clean and keep the bad smell out

Every once in awhile they get in these frozen Icee treats. They are fantastic. No longer a Dollar Tree. It's now a $1.25 Tree. Pay attention while shopping and try to not forget about the added . 25c . It actually adds up quickly and when you get to the register you can feel sort of shocked at the total. They have done a good job on getting different inventory. But I wish they would get the ICEE cups back in stock and keep it that way. My opinion of course.

Found what i needed however, I would have left my cart and gone elsewhere if I had the time. This store is a disorganized, dirty mess. There was only 1 cashier open on the registers while 4 employees hung out in the rear of the store having a very loud profane and obscene discussion.

You can find some deals, but the store is filthy and the floors are never vacuumed the shelves are disgusting and very cluttered. With this deadly virus you would think the owners would hire professionals to clean. I’m sure they have the money. I’ll stay away for the time being. Hopefully the staff are safe.😷

I have shopped at alot of dollar trees in many different states as they have most items I need to pick up in a hurry. Today I visited the Elmira Southside location. Wow what a horrible store, the floors are dirty there were a lot of items obviously out of place. The staff was also horrible. They refused to help me find the items I went in for and when I went to the cashier she asked if I had my own bag or was I going to buy one. Huh? Never had that before, left without making a purchase. Wow will never go back.

I've went here for years. However, the last time I was there a month ago the store was filthy! The carpets were a mess and needed vacuuming. The shelves were a jumbled mess! Why??? I'll not go back to that one. My granddaughter went there 2 days ago and it was still the same .

A nice place to pick up things you don't plan to use too long term. The toys are cute and cheap, and they break easily, but the stuffed animals are usually cute. In that case, you get what you pay for. It is the same for the shampoos and cleaning supplies, but they are good for filling in until you can get back to name brands. Coffee cups and other like odds and ends are usually pretty good and attractive. The service has improved, but things can be pretty dirty and sometimes smell. The food products are usually good, however, and the store takes foodstamps.

I went in to get just 2 things. Found them easily. Found out that food is still $1.00 (I bought canned veg, not snacks). Cashier was very pleasant.

I went for a cellphone charger cord and kleenex. I came out with Birthday Halloween cards kleenex cellphone cord colored eyes glue dots shampoo body wash small aluminum bread pans. My list was at home on table. I enjoyed myself. Nice friendly people who work at dallor three south main st. Elmira,New York.

The new items they have in the store are grate. I found items that other stores cost 3x the amount. They are now carring food items. I saved lots of money on juice, 18 pk of eggs 1 dollar. Really need to check it out if your on a budget.

The lady that rang me out on register 5 today was extremely rude. She told me not to out my items up on the counter, when the counter was empty, and the she kept shaking her head at me. I was having a good day, till she ruined it. I bought a bunch if items from this store only to get treated like I did. I give a 1 star because she was so rude.

If you take your time to look over products offered, there is a great selection at an extremely good price. Plus a large variety of products. I like to pick up craft and stationery items especially. Have picked up a lot of good books as well. Can't beat a dollar an item.

I hate leaving negative reviews, BUT.... It was bsolutely disgusting!!! Everything was all over the floors and very unorganized. Very dirty. Will never step foot in that particular store again

Can always get what I need for any every day needs. Love my dollar tree here on South main in Elmira ny. Also neat and well organized, staff is very nice and helpful.

The place was very dirty unorganized lines all the way back to the back of the store one cashier other people's channel around at work there supposed to be stacking shelves or whatever can't even get down the aisle boxes and boxes products in the boxes don't know who operates this business what the headquarters need to go there straighten their store up

Disorganized disgusting mess. The homeless camp next door to it is a nice red flag of what to expect inside.
