Got profiled as a thief when I walked in the door was accused of opening and stealing stuff when I work hard for my money. Called customer service and got hung up on. Manager was an old woman and threatened to call the cops if I didn't empty my pockets at the register. Will not be going in that store ever again.

Always out of stock of essential items. Never have milk nor basic staples. Only freezer in the place has been down for months. Staff is nice but the place needs an overhaul. Shelves are disorganized and items aren't in the correct places.

This is for the dollar general on lake street.Had what i needed, but their system was down or something. It took until there was 30 people in line until the cashier told us there was a problem and that it would take several minutes to fix. In the time i spent in line i could have gone to the DG down the road and driven to where i needed to go. From now on, ill by pass the headache and go to a more reliable store.

3 Dollar Generals and a Big Lots. Each store clean, stocked, masks a must, cheerful employees! 3rd time was a charm. I think I got the last 3 bags of potting soil in Elmira🍀🌻🐿🌰🌝🌦🌱

The cashier Ron is very helpful I thought he was manager he was very informative and extremely willing to help with what ever a customer needed and he was alone ran the store like a champ the store was extremely busy and he didn't look his professionalism or seem to let it bother him just smiled and continued on as nothing was going wrong....excelent character showed! I think this man deserves A RAISE a 5 STAR raiting and a BIG Raise!!! TODAYS WORLD YOU DONT FIND TO MANY FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES IN RETAIL LIKE THIS MAN WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT COUSTOMER SERVICE!

Never go here i dont think i have ever been treated so wrongly in my life went to buy some stuff off food stamps i had 22 dollars on it when i got there i had to pay 12 dollars and some change i swipped it three times and all three said decline so i called my card and it said i only had 9 dollars on it as i walked in with 22 on it and now it says nine and then i went back i told the lady about it then she said it couldn't be because it didnt go threw well it apparently did when it said the amount it took off of my card they had me swipe it again and it said approve so i know the lady did something wrong the first time they didnt give me my food stamps that it took off it back on my card ,i will never be going there ever again i was a good customer but i had never been so imbarist in my life

This isn't a true Dollar store,prices vary from cheaper to more expensive than other stores. You have to shop their ads like everyone else.
