I don't like going to ace unless I have to. I always feel I bother the employees on the floor they are not helpful . The cashiers up front are always helpful and very nice. Thatsbtye best part of the store

Very nice store. Much larger then you think and the have much more than i would have believed. They are my go to hardware store when I'm in the area. The staff was very helpful and super polite.

Very good customer service. The employees I had interaction with were both helpful and concerned that you have a great experience. Greeted at entering with a friendly hello and how can we.help you. Directed me to the isle I needed, and then checked the pricing of my item so I knew it was what I liked at online. Store is jam packed with everything on one floor. Simply put, an excellent shopping pleasure. Thank You

I have shopped this ACE many times and each time I have had the pleasure of working with Drew. Drew not only knows his stuff, he is super helpful andknowledgeable. I have had interactions with other employees, while all mostly pleasant, Drew has been willing to go above and beyond to help out. This ultimately translates to sales.When something I purchased had an issue, Drew made it right and oversaw the repair and delivery back to me in a timely manner.Much appreciated! I look forward to shopping there again.

Worst place to take your lawnmower! Very poor service and they don't know when to say that a job is beyond their skills. $180 in pickup and delivery charges and the mower still not working. And when I complain Bryan put the phone down on me. Excellent Service, right !

I ordered a grill online on Monday it was supposed to be put together and ready for pickup on ThursdayI got a message Monday afternoon that it was readyI called and explained I wouldn’t be able to pick it up until Friday and they said no problemI picked up a few other things while I was there for a small store they have quite the selection of different products and the workers were kind ,pleasant,knowledgeable

There are always plenty of employees to guide you to what you need and they are always friendly. It's a nice small-town, family atmosphere. Just one star off for some high prices on tools and, occasionally, a lack of inventory.

They always do a great job at Ace. The staff is all friendly and willing to help, the smiles are given for free, and there is rarely wait.There are some items that you'll find a bit more expensive, but I believe it's worth it to keep the business local to the small cities... it's a toss-up for some large ticket items, but 95% of the time it's worth it.I'd recommend them over the larger chains based on staff alone.

Andrew is awesome. After a quick online and phone search, I found that this was the only local store that carried the very cool, very functional Niwaki tripod ladder (it's branded Hasegawa here in the U.S.). Anyway, I was a bit stumped on how to transport the ladder back home, and Andrew not only helped me find the correct ratchet cables to tie it down to my Subaru Outback, but he also did the tying down since I had never used ratchet ties before. He was very kind and gentle and helpful and my ladder and I made it home safe and sound. Service was above and beyond.

Employees at front desk are nice but manager is terrible. I called on two separate occasions asking about military discount and price matching on a product in-stock. Manager never called back and blew me off both times - very unprofessional to say the least!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are great, and it's a much bigger store on the inside than the outside. The selection of products they have here is great. Would highly recommend for shopping for hardware in Ellenville.

Bought a pair of boots....were told I could bring them back if they didnt fit, I could exchange them or get a refund. Brought them back only to be told they "couldn't" take them back because I had worn them. (How am I supposed to know if they fit or not if I dont put them on?!)WILL NOT be shopping here anymore. Also very pricey. These boots go for $14.99 but I paid $22.....

This is a very good hardware store. They have a large selection of items, they are friendly, and they try to guide you to the right place if they do not stock the item you need. Unlike Home Depot or Lowe's, this store does not make you feel like you can get lost in a huge warehouse.

I have been to this Ace & literally fell walking through the door. I fell on their janky ramp covered by a rug. Nobody asked me if I was ok, nobody said nothing, they have a sign facing the opposite direction of the main parking lot to watch your step. I twisted my ankle, scraped up my arm, and hurt my knee. Unbelievable!

If your a minority don’t shop there. Waited for a busy employee to finish his work so I could ask a question. A white guy walked past asked a question and left. I never was acknowledged, I put the items back and left I’ve never returned.
