We were up in Bethel for a Spartan race and stopped at Shrewd Fox on the way home. The beer (especially the Peach and Dev) quenched our thirst as we enjoyed listening to a live band outside at one of their picnic tables. The owners and staff couldn’t have been friendlier and we had a wonderful afternoon! The next morning I realized I had left my wallet there and was able to connect with them as soon as they opened. The owner offered to mail me my wallet (as we live over 2 hours away) and didn’t allow me to pay for the shipping - a true testament to how kind they really were. Next time we are up that way we will definitely be stopping by…and I strongly encourage you to do the same!!!

Love this sweet brewery!! The owners were so kind and accommodating. They offer a small tasting room and a huge back yard with picnic tables, umbrellas and corn hole. It was a beautiful spot to hang out and drink their fantastic beer!

We were so happy to have found this gem! Shrewd Fox has some of the best cider and beer we have ever tasted! The staff were extremely welcoming and informed. What a great spot to sit outside and partake in some fantastic brews.

I like to try different craft breweries so We stopped by on the way to Bethel Woods. It was a great stop. The location is fairly small and simple setup. There were people already using the limited bar stools but 2 people immediately offered us their seats as they said that they had been there for a while. All of the patrons as well as the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I both chose to get flights so we could try as many as possible. This allowed us to fill our 2 growlers. We filled one with a cider and one with a beer. Both were very good. We killed the cider in the parking lot at Bethel Woods before the show. We will be back next time that we are in the Catskills.

I have to start by saying that I abhor all beers, like truly hate them BUT every beer that I tried from Shrewd Fox was delicious! My absolute favorite is the Belgian Cider (just ran out and have to figure out when I can make the 2 hour drive to get some more). I also tried Isaac’s Apple, Zorro Astuto Cider and the Loch Ada brew. All were amazing. Definitely have to go back and fill my growler again! If you are in the area of Eldred, you really need to stop by!I can’t believe I forgot to add how fantastic the owners are. Very nice and sweet people. Bill took my group through the process of beer making and you can see the passion that he has for this.

Fresh brewed beer in a lovely Hamlet five miles from the Delaware River. The beer is outstanding! Highly recommended. Caveat: this is a small place as befits it's rustic locale.

Amazing brewery !!!! Ukrainian imported grain made here! If you have a chance to stop by you definitely should! The brews are amazing including the Kozak and Baba Yaga which are really good! They have apple ciders which are amazing ! Worth the stop!

This is a diamond in the rough, a destination for anyone who loves craft beer. The couple who own it make you feel at home and tell you as much as you want to know about the beer you are drinking.Did I mention the beer is great!

I have had lager beer in Munich, Germany; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kyiv, Ukraine, Budapest, Hungary, Stockholm, Sweden: and Warsaw, Poland just to name few that came close but not as good as at Shrewd Fox Brewery, NY.
