Like its name says, the Corner Pizza is at the corner of NY55 & NY32 about 4 miles north of Barryville on Rt97. Out of the way? Maybe. Worth the trip? Definitely! Run by a pair of twin brothers, this open air pizzeria, offers a selection of delicious pizzas topped with locally grown tomatoes, peppers and other toppings and cooked in their wood fired oven. They have an extensive offering of bottled beer as well as soft drinks, tea and the like. Seating is limited to less than 10 tables and another half dozen bar height seats at the kitchen bar and when the place is busy the wait for food can be long.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian pizzas on the menu. Kid-friendliness: This place is family friendly.

Great pizza, great staff/ owners. Never disappoints. Even topped it off today with a dessert pizza, apple crumb. We make it at least an every other week visit. Tasty, cooked perfectly and the outside just adds to the experience

My wife and I drove by on a Friday night and saw it bustling. Decided to swing by Sunday for lunch on our way back home and are very glad we did. Food was excellent, decent beer choice, and the staff was a pleasure. We'll definitely be regularly stopping here on our trips north.

Great wood fired pizza! Nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Great place to stop for some good eats. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you get a chance take a walk across the street to the Corner Store for some ice cream. Will definitely be back!

Old world wood fired pizza. I have never had any better. Lou is such a great guy and I always feel at home there. This pizza is so good it is unbelievable. If you go there try the meatballs as an appetizer you won't be disappointed.

Friends of ours suggested that we meet at this tiny place in the small little town of Eldred. We were not disappointed! We got started with meatball and ricotta appetizers and then each of us ordered a pie. Wow! Crust was cooked perfectly. I especially enjoyed the ricotta. Arugula topped pizza wasn't on the menu but when I asked the owner if they could make it, he ran across to his very cool hydrofarm to pick it fresh! Best tasting arugula I have ever had! Frank and his brother's pizza joint is really something special. I suggest heading over to their ice cream parlor (next door) for treats and then picking up some lettuce from the farm to take home! Can't wait to come back!

I really wish I would’ve gotten a picture, but my son, fiancé and I demolished that pie !! This pizza was some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten (and I am from New York City, born and raised). We were visiting the area for the weekend and there’s absolutely nothing nearby. After explaining to them that we were visiting for the weekend, they open their doors to us after being closed for the evening. I can’t express how appreciative I am to this business. There is literally nothing in the area to eat or no places nearby to grocery shop. If you’re in town and you’re debating on trying them out, let this be the sign go for it!!! You won’t be disappointed !!

What a fantastic place. True brick oven pizza. We visited yesterday and had an amazing time. The pizza was incredible and the staff was super friendly. The price was very reasonable for the portions you get, we even brought some pizza home because it was so good. You want to have a great night out at a reasonable price you need to check these guys out. I guarantee you won't be disappointed

I’m sorry Preps, but this is my new favorite pizza place. Corner Pizza, I’m hoping to convince my parents to visit your pizzeria at least once a month. It’s literally the best pizza I’ve ever had. I didn’t have it fresh out of the oven and it was cold, so I guess I didn’t get the full experience. But it was still delicious.

Such a cute little place. Staff is so friendly and the food was excellent, worth the wait for sure. We had the meatballs on a previous trip, but we were in a rush and could not wait for pizzas so we decided to try again. We got lucky and got a table this time. Started with the meatballs because they are amazing. We also got a 4 cheese pizza and the meat lovers pizza. too much food for just two people, but we brought it home and ate it again for dinner. Looking forward to our next visit!

This is the best location in the "world" to go to for pizza. I've had some of the most delicious pie's in my time, and nothing compares. The first time I had bitten into a slice from this small but quaint piazza, I nearly fainted. The buffalo chicken pie is my favorite, and I am still yearning for a taste of their pesto. Thanks for the delicious pizza!

Delicious wood fired pizza, and a good beverage selection as well. Family friendly, and fun. My son and his cousins loved the open field to the side of the restaurant, and it was nice to have a place to let the run while we finished eating. Great service, friendly, fresh ingredients (they have their own veggies garden right on site), and delicious.

Delicious pizza, made fresh to order and served outside -- the perfect spot for a warm weather meal. The wait can be long (since everything is made fresh), so this isn't the place to come if you're in a hurry. But if you've got a moment to relax, come and enjoy the best pizza around. (You can enjoy homemade meatballs while you wait for your pizza, and you can follow the pizza with fantastic ice cream from the owners' shop across the street.)

Really friendly vibe. Patio outdoor wood fired pizza. They use the patio to grow herbs and vegetables that become pizza ingredients. Good selection of beers. Everything about the pizza was very fresh, from the ricotta to the basil.

Frank, Louie and the young lady working with them are doing right! Food is outstanding and fresh! Service is great. Not a big place, but that helps make it better.Friday night they didn't come up for air. They were so busy and managed to take care of everyone with a smile.... Even the last 2 fat guys waiting for their 4 pies!! Next time Dessert Pie! Thanks guys!

Great brick oven pizza, Lou and Frank make the pies and Frank's wife usually serves along with Frank. We try to visit as much as possible since they are not open in the winter. Great pies and they even do breakfast pies on Sundays.

Wonderful! The Corner Piazza caught our attention as we rode by today in a group of 9 motorcycles. The colorful umbrellas and shaded bar looked inviting. Frank and his brother Lou greeted us warmly. Service was quick and efficient. The pizzas were served within 10 minutes with fresh ingredients. Frank cut basil from his herb garden growing on the deck! We had the pesto, meat lovers and margarita.Two suggestions:A small expansion to the menu would be nice, perhaps salads.Moveable umbrellas to add additional shade. Half of our table of nine were seated in the sun.
