I wanted to say thank you and recognize Cheryl (manager or supervisor), who went above and beyond today to help me when she didn’t have to. The first manager/supervisor was going to have me look into my old gift card once I left the store, but Cheryl went a step further and I truly appreciated that so much! It’s a rare quality and she deserves recognition! Gianna, cashier was at the end of her shift, I am sure wanting to go home, but she was incredibly sweet and patient. Also rare qualities today! Thank you both for your kindness!

The subs are great, but the employees need to be retrained. They wear dirty bibs and while making the subs while reaching for cheese, meat, veggies, they lean into your sandwich and the dirty bib rubs up against your sub. And they are oblivious to it! It's unsanitary. If you correct them, they seem offended like you are some Karen complaining about nothing. It's uncouth. I'm supposed to eat that now? After your dirty bib has been touching the innards of my sandwich? And I'm going to pay 14 dollars for that? They should be more mindful of what they are doing.

Two things for 1 star. First, people parking in “Handicapped” parking spot with no mirror tag or license plate tag. Nobody police’s these violations. I have to constantly find a spot in the lot even though I have a handicap and have a mirror tag.Second, in my opinion prices are high here. I only stop here for my prescriptions, I have price shopped this store and find consistently lower prices at my regular store. Example 8 piece fried chicken is nearly double here what I buy it for at my regular store. That is just one example.

We only shop the perimeter, don't buy boxed or can items. Produce department is puny but selection is generally fresh. This store has been at this location for a very long time. Not much competition - no other food stores in the area. No odors from the Seafood department. Staff on floor is always helpful. Cashiers always ask if I need help loading my car...not yet but it's a nice gesture. Parking lot is vast, and usually clean...diapers under cars and emptied ashtrays in spaces are swiftly swept up. Carts gathered and stored quickly. ALWAYS a Lovely seasonal floral display where you enter.

Nice and clean store. But boy, these prices are high here. The staff is very nice. Most employees seem happy to work at this Wegmans , which is great.

This is the smallest Syracuse store but it has all the basic things you'd expect inside a Wegmans store. The store is small and has a unique layout but it works due to the smaller space of the footprint. Good prices and great food options.

They have a great selection of most foods and their staff is always very helpful. I just wish their prices were better on many items.

I went there today for a fish dinner. I do not recommend it. The fish was soft not flakey. The coleslaw wasn't very good either. I'm very surprised because it's lent and usually the fish is fresh and tasty. The service was exceptional.

Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms. The Asian section has Angelo Pietro Salad dressings and Indo Mei noodles. The produce department has many local items and an excellent selection of apples. They have a great display of cookie cutters. This store is easy to find and has plenty of parking.

The produce section has gone down hill. I keep giving this store a chance because it’s by my house but I would probably save more money going to the Liverpool ones. I just bought a whole pineapple and literally rotten from the inside. This wouldn’t be a big deal but I can’t even count how many times i come home with messed up produce or moldy frozen food. that’s if I can even find what I need since they decided to rearrange the produce. Unlike other Wegmans stores the produce is out of order and you have to search around for organic.

Wish the produce manager would order more efficiently. I can't describe how frustrating it is to want something that they don't have when 99% of the time they have it when you don't need it. You think basil might be something you'd want to have on Christmas eve?

James St.. By no means compares to Wegmans in Dewitt, nor Wegmans in Liverpool.. I chose James because closer..produce wasn't good at all just before Thanksgiving.. No celery, no squash, onions rotted in the middle... Had to ask for it in back storage room.. It's like we are low lives .. Wegmans brand just to try and save money? Well bought the mayonnaise from Wegmans today,, not even close to Hellman's... Omg it too vinegary.. I don't know.. Maybe price chopper or tops would be better.. Maybe even aldis

Wegmans let's see glad to know that they are still maintaining their high quality of products and services. Definitely one of my first go to stores for food shopping, and yes a one stop 🛑 place to visit for groceries and home products.

Too bad there's the Price Chopper lockout where I live. But a half hour drive is well worth it. Great selection and sales and, compared to competition, amazingly fresh produce and meat. That's what PC doesn't want them here, they would be put out of business.Cleanliness, good staff and fresh beats the other place.

I'm a huge Wegmans fan, but this isn't the nicest Wegmans in the Syracuse area, and I usually only go here if I need something in a hurry. This particular store is smaller than most Wegmans and, because of that, the selection of merch isn't as comprehensive as the other locations.That was my original review. I would also like to add that their sub sandwiches are fresh, made to order, and fantastic!I got a toasted Danny's favorite and it was top notch.

Love some fresh baked specialty items. Your sure to find something different several times throughout the year at wegmans. Also, the store brand options... vast, and always add things. Providing a cheaper option for an item only matters if your version is nearly the exact same as the name brand item your copying.

Love this location, it's smaller and more compact than the one in DeWitt, which is GREAT for someone who's disabled and has mobility issues, but still wants to accomplish regular tasks themselves. The employees and managers have all been amazing the past decade I've been going here. The pharmacists are awesome as well! And it's easy to get vaccinated while getting shopping done as well!

Old, small and constantly changing the layout. Always moving stuff so you can’t find it. Produce is not the greatest. You can find any brand you want as long as its “Wegman’s”. Highly overrated and overpriced.

For a $13 sandwich, I was greatly impressed. Dry, not very flavorful, bread wasn't even the slightest bit remarkable. $9 for five basic small chicken tenders is an insult to chickens everywhere. The only reprieve was the sunflowers and vase from floral and the lovely ladies that helped us.

This is one of the smaller Wegmans stores in the area, but that is what I like about this location. For a smaller floor space, they have a very large selection of items that rivals the larger stores. The store is well organized, although they like to change things around periodically to keep you on your toes. The staff is courteous and helpful. Being a smaller store you can get in and out very quickly which makes it very convenient.

I love the store!!!!!! I like a little over an hour from a couple of different Wegmans stores. Whenever I am near them, I always stop and stock up on stuff. Their fresh produce section is enormous!!!! There is a ton of different products to choose from. Their prices are so reasonable. I highly recommend this storeWish the fruit was not so expensive in the winter time. It's crazy expensive.
