Found this establishment after reading an article about the owner bringing English meat pies into our area.Had a great chat with the owner and picked up four meat pies, two Cornish pasties and a scotch egg. All were delicious. We'll definitely return for more!

Not a formal restaurant , but a great 'take out' place with authentic English pasties and pies .The owner/chef is english , and makes the food as properly crafted "across the pond" . True to form , they also sell 'biscuits and cakes' made there , also .The pizzas are an added treat , and are priced at less than $2.00/slice currently , and after 9:00 p.m. a slice is just $1.50 ! . Whole pies ? .... go there to find out the price or check the website . Limited parking out front , and across from a 'petrol' station . Antonio's ..... who'd have thought ??

A taste from home. Some of the best pies I've had. The fillings both (savory and sweet) and crust are to die for. Also has other British groceries/treats. If you've never had british meat pie this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed.

stopped by while in the area for a soccer tournament and wow what a nice surprise in this area. the savory pies are amazing, we had Chicken Curry, and the ham quiche was also very very good. Grabbed some more to take home for the week they were so great.

Went here for the first time. Located in a pizza store, they have a freezer with various pies and sauage rolls. All foods are sealed and labeled according to their name.They also have an assortment of a few other british items such as sweets and condiments, too.Purchased 2 sauage rolls and 1 steak and kidney pie.While the sauague rolls were good, I was not sure the type used. A good savory pork sausage such as a british cumberland or a pork banger is preferred, but this did not quite have the taste of either. Still, it was enjoyable.However, the steak and kidney pie was a complete disappointment. While the Crust was semi ok, the inside consisted of ground beef with a small amount of diced vegetables with no gravy.It was very dry. A good steak and kidney pie should have lamb kidneys and cubed steak pieces, onions in a rich savory brown gravy, and then wrapped in a puff pastry and baked. This missed the mark all the way as it was dry and missing any seasoning, and the pastry was not puff and flaky the way a steak and kidney pie should be. As a result, I'm am hesitant to try any of their other pies such as the mince pies, etc.As they do have some other treats, I'll probably just stick with these and the sauage rolls.Parking is on the street as the shop is on a main road with side street parking.

Ordered delivery through the "Slice" app . After waiting over an hour past the expected delivery time I contacted the app and they told me it was on the way , be there in 10 min. Had to contact the app 3 times when it didn't show and the 3rd time they told me the restaurant would make a fresh order and send it in 30 min . 2 and half hours delivery for one pizza ....... I used the app frequently for other restaurants and if there's an issue the restaurant directly calls. Not Kensington. Shame on them

The Pork Pie and Cornish Pasty were delicious. The gentleman who helped me was very nice and answered all my questions for me. There's also a freezer, so you can take pies home too.

Had the Steak and onion pie. Decent flavor but even after fully cooked, the diced onions still had the raw onion flavor and were still crunchy hence overpowering meat filling flavor. I definitely prefer having cooked onions so the flavor bleeds out well and the onions are soft and less distinct.

My late Father was employed by a British concern for approximately 30 years. I am consequently no stranger to Meat Pies. Recently picked up a Steak & Ale Pie which was absolutely delicious. Have every intention of returning to purchase other offerings as well

I'm originally from the UK (Kensington, London...as it so happens), now based in NYC, and have been meaning to try Kensington Pies ever since they opened. I finally had the opportunity this weekend and picked myself up a Cornish pasty, sausage roll, Scotch egg, and pork pie (as well as a steak and onion pie, although that's still in my freezer). As any Brit would, I had preemptively set my expectations low so as not to be disappointed, but am delighted to report that I had no need. Each of the savoury pastries exceeded my expectations - absolutely delicious. If I had to critique, I would say that the sausage roll pastry was a tad dry, but nothing severe. All in all, I cannot recommend highly enough. Can't wait to try out my steak and onion pie, and to pop by again the next time I'm out on Long Island.

First heard of Kensington Pies from their ad in our local newspaper.Never had their pies before, but I've always wanted to try their products.Apparently, they set up a stall at the farmers market in Cunningham Park, last Sunday. I didn't realize the vendor was Kensington Pies.Purchased their Chicken & Mushroom pie last Sunday, and had it for lunch today.Absolutely amazing!!! Delicious!!! Splendid!!!In a way, I'm glad I didn't buy more. Otherwise, I'd have one every day and gain weight to lose. But I will definitely buy more.Definitely recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing shop!! The pies are so authentic and absolutely delicious. We tried the Steak and Ale pie tonight and can’t wait to try the rest. I spoke to the owner and chef who is so happy to serve British foods from his homeland to Long Island. Having lived in both Scotland and England, I can say that Kensington Pie’s various British treats will transport you right over the pond!! Check it out, you won’t regret it!

This place makes delicious authentic pies. If you’re British, come here. The pastry is amazing. I also tried something new the chicken curry pie, which was out of this world. Owner was lovely too. Such a good find!

Had pies 3 times from here. Will be four times next time in the area. Recent new customer and will certainly remain a repeat customer. Never tried their pizza, but totally sold on their pies. They have a couple of small tables inside as well. Just noticed they sell gelato with some interesting flavors. Next time!!

Got both a shepherds pie and a cottage pie, both were really good but surprisingly I enjoyed the cottage pie slightly more. Will have to go back and try some of the other pies.

We ordered 5 of the British Pies, some to enjoy immediately and rest to take home to eat later. They were delicious and we enjoyed them. The owner is a very friendly guy, and explained how to heat up them up at home. I also ordered arancini which was crispy and delicious along with an order of Penne Vodka with chicken. They forgot to add the chicken for which I paid extra and just gave me the pasta without it. I find pasta by itself without any protein as being dull and boring. I didn’t realize it until I was already home. I live too far to have had it corrected. I’m sure it’s an honest mistake, but double check your orders. 5 star from me because of the good quality and unique food and a very friendly owner.

As a English guy I was skeptical, but these pies are the real deal. I drove 45 minutes from Patchogue to sample this. I got a Shepard pie and thankfully it was lamb, I got a cheese and onion pasty that I ate on way home and it was like I was on building site in England so good, when I got home I reheated at 350 for 35 mins.I'm waiting to try the cherry pie that I have but from what I've tasted so far I'm not going to be disappointed.

Very interesting pizzeria. They have these meat pies that are absolutely delicious. Get the steak and ale. The service was great as well. Highly recommend it for something different and delicious.
