A nice gourmet supermarket. Great bakery, deli and they have a wide variety of premade meals which can be pricey. It's a great place to go if you need to pick up something and don't feel like going to a large supermarket. I need to really check out Pat's and see what they really have.

I have been patronizing Pat’s since they opened, but in the past two months I’ve had to return food that went bad before the “sell-by date”:The first item was fresh cod from their seafood section and most recently chicken thighs and also chicken wings!All three smelled awful and spoiled upon opening to prepare to cook for dinners. I returned the fish and received a store credit of $33.15 which I then used on my next visit when I bought the chicken. I threw them away yesterday because of the rancid smell!Buyer Beware! I will never step foot inside again.

I walked in for the first time to their prepared food section. The quiche looked out of this world, Little did I know. I got home, I was super excited! I tried to take the first bite, I literally had to dig my way through it. Horrible Taste, Hard and stale, very salty. Never eating that again. Wasted 6$ on Stale Quiche

Well stocked store with plenty of selection. Pleasant and calm environment as well. It may be more expensive than the average grocery store but they are worth it.

Bakery dept is awesome!! Had chocolate covered pretzels made for 2 different baby showers and they did an amazing job on my daughters baby shower cake. Guest said it was delicious. Thank you

For someone of color that just moved to the neighborhood I can tell that these people would rather not serve people that look like me. The first time something happened I said something to the supervisor on duty and still came back. Went in today to have the same exact thing happen by a different cashier. I hear you Pats loud and clear!

One of my favorite places to shop for groceries and meats. The produce department isn’t as good as everything else, but also not bad. There’s a great little section for tchotchkes and other gift-able items for the home. The bakery is also excellent and happy to make something special for you if they don’t have it on hand. I miss the lamb sausage and wish the butchers would bring that back…

We were camping at Heckscher State Park and stopped in to see what's available. Wow!! It looks small, but it has an amazing assortment! A wide variety of prepared foods that rivals a new version Wegmans. If we lived here, this would be our go to grocery store!

Shame on Pat's. I went to pick up a couple of things with my two children. My youngest, who is 3, really had to use the bathroom. I asked the manager, who happened to be around the deli counter where the restroom was. He notified me that it was not in service; which I would have underrstood, however when I asked - all of the restrooms are not in service? And questioned how his employees used the restroom all day- he told me they were all notified prior to coming in to work they could go home to use the restroom....I know this may not seem like a big deal, and if he was not so rude and lied about the situation I would not be posting, but with two small children this is poor customer service and I most definitely will not continue to support the business.

I love the deli here. The people who work in this deli actually listen when you say sliced thin, please. They even show you a slice to make sure it's satisfactory. There are a huge variety of salads and food. The store itself is very clean and stocked. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I wish they would open one in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. I live in the city, but every time I head to East Islip, I stop in for cold cuts, the delicious dutch potato salad, and their fresh baked Italian bread. If you're in the area, def stop by.

I have other reviews of Pat's. I'll add this review that makes me cringe. $12 for an 80 pack of disinfecting wipes? The very same day I saw this I started to look at other stores I went to, paying attention to comparable items. Most everywhere else was $3-$5 for the same product, and cheaper for non name brand items. Come on Pats....this is just price gouging....

Love this store, really do. Deli people know their stuff, slice great and are fairly nice. My problem s nickel and diming me. I ask for a pound turkey (14.99 a lb). I watch the guy slice (usually don’t), watched him look at the scale and still added another slice even tho it was already over a pound. Then he put in the bag before weighing for the total cost. It went from 1.05 lbs to 1.09 lbs with the bag. That’s outright stealing. Will no be going back for that reason alone. Lost a frequent customer for the little BS to pay more for nothing.

One of the nicer stores to food shop in.Carry a full line of Bores-Head cold cutsProduce department has fresh fruit & vegetables plus a pretty good selection of everything else. Dairy products are fresh, all around good stuff through & through. You won't be disappointed when shopping there.

Just used Pat's to cater a backyard party and everything was great! The food was delicious, easy ordering and delivery was right on time. Very good experience. Will definitely use them for our next party!

Chicken pie looked good but the all white meat was incredibly tough and dry. I can't imagine what they're thinking offering such a bad product. Also noticed that a bunch of celery had a hugh circle of mold.

So today 7/26/2023 was my 3rd time at this store and quite possibly my last time at this store. The first I ever went to pats market was for bread and a few other items. My last two shops there were a lot more than just bread. Today for instance, I spent $281.89 in groceries. My complaint is, and I’ve called the store today that, twice I ordered BOARS HEAD ROAST BEEF and both times I was given the store brand roast beef which is, pretty good but, one: it’s not what I ordered and two: I paid for Boars head roast beef. Store manager isn’t available yadda yadda yadda. I was told to call again tomorrow. I might, I might not. A similar shop at lets say ShopRite or stop and shop would have probably been about $50 cheaper and, I would have gotten Boars Head roast beef and not the store brand roast beef. Dare I say buyer beware. 🤔

When this store opened, I couldn't get enough of it.. Produce, meat, deli - all fantastic departments. But over time, the store really has gone downhill. The staff behind the deli counter are dirty, indifferent, obnoxious - not all, but far too many for my liking. I've gotten prepared sandwiches, and salads from the deli counter with hair in them. Once is one time too many - four or five - that's indicative of a problem with the store, staff and management.Yesterday I went in for a loaf of bread. Their bread is amazing, I believe it comes from Brooklyn. Almost every loaf of bread that I picked up was soggy.. I've never seen that before in that store. I finally found a good, crisp loaf of bread. As I walked by the bakery counter and got to the end, near a door leading to the back, the smell of urine was overwhelming. Reminded me of a corner of the subway platform where no one ever ventures to. Absolutely disgusting.I don't know what happened to this store, but I very rarely go in. When I do, overall, the store just feels dirty. The only department left that I have any faith in is the meat department. Management doesn't seem to care, since the store is pretty much packed all the time.By the way, I'm not the ONLY person that's found hair in the food..

Just purchased baby back ribs and they were no good. SOUR. Its not 1stTime I purchased outdated products. You must watch dates on all food. Management update the labels on food. So they dont have to throw it out. Also the workers must. Learn how to slice cold cuts and not shred them. Its getting worse every week that goes by. I shop weekly.

Worked here in the deli. They had me wiping the mold off pepperoni for sale and selling 2 year expired cheese as "store brand". Disgusting practices, I quit the moment I found new work.FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Great place. Very clean and organized. I went to the seafood section and purchased various items. The seafood clerk was great and had plenty of information about the seafood and how to cook it as well. I was very impressed and will definitely return to shop. Thank you again for having such a well run supermarket.

Fun store that will gain you weight just by looking at the delicious food they sell.They have an amazing honey peanut butter all naturally made in store that is sooooo delicious and good for you....
