I like going to this store for the quality of it's products. The prices are a little higher than other places and the sales don't match other sales in the area. They also don't do rain checks. Overall, I shop here for only the sales. Regular products are out of my budget at this location.

Hannaford in East Greenbush is a very clean and well organized grocery store. I think their prices are a bit high, but compared to the other grocery stores that are now increasing their prices, they’re not too far off.

My favorite local supermarket, but there are corporate problems. First the good....... Staff are friendly and helpful. Produce is fresh and store is clean, well organized and has good management. I always buy my fish at Hannaford because the quality is good too.But corporate lost a star on the rating due to mislabeled store brand apple juice. Side panel shows "Product of USA" and stamped origin reveals it is really from Turkey. Maybe the water was from the USA? I let that slide because it's a corporate mistake. But....Then I downgraded my review to reflect the difficulty returning bottles and cans to Hannaford. The return policy was deliberately changed to discourage returns. Hannaford only has one bottle return machine because the corporate policy is to "force" consumers to use the "clinque" system. Totally contrary to Hannaford advertising that they make it easy to shop. Lost 3 stars for violating my trust.

Hannaford is a handy place to have nearby. I use an electric Walker to carry my purchases. People are very friendly, and helpful if I have a problem reaching something and I appreciate that.

They are still puyting the stickers all over the deli bags making them un usable. Please stop doing this, that red sticker hardly ever works right and the white one espically rips the bag open when you use it to seal everything.

We never had a problem going to this Hannaford. From very close proximity from our house, to the cost of items, to selection. However, yesterday was a notch on why we might switch due to the customer service. We had went to the meat section and tried to get a prime rib roast for sudden change of Thanksgiving plans for my husband and I. We both got the flu (we're both vaccinated) and so we masked up and headed in. They didn't have much for a selection, so we asked the guy behind the counter if they had any two rib of a roast. And right from there he was giving us attitude. He grabbed one small one from the case. And kinda aggressively hands it off to us.We then proceeded to grab some water. And I remembered that I needed get needed something at produce section. So as we walked back to there, we heard the guy complaining that to other worker "these last minute holiday shoppers gonna have to learn. And he wasn't going to go above beyond."I am sorry my husband and I couldn't time getting the flu more appropriately with your guy in the meat department willingness for customer service. But what we can appropriately time is NEVER getting meat at this location!Hope you have a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends. While some of us can't.

I have never had any problems with this market or selection of products or their quality. Staff has always been efficient and friendly. It isn't the most modern, large, or fancy mkt compared to some others but works for me.

It is a nice new store.goid service and selection.i was able to get turkey cutlets there in May. Other markets say they only have them for holidays

Always well stocked, clean and organized. Staff is helpful and willing to assist with great attitudes. Check out times are consistently the shortest I've ever had in this area. They also happily bag your groceries and don't expect the customers to do it. Never have trouble finding a hand basket, even at peak times. Pricing is clearly marked, sales and specials are honestly posted and easy to understand. No murky hidden sales tactics designed to rip you off. Breath of fresh air when compared to all other major competitor stores.

My experience was wonderful. Normally at deli departments it’s long and workers are not attentive, however my experience with Sandy A had been in the deli was absolutely wonderful when ALL other workers were unwilling to assist when she calls for assistance. My experience is she always leaves me very satisfied, a song in my heart and a smile on my face. Would love it if there were more employees as accommodating as her and when I shop there I will will wait in line for her service. It’s refreshing to see such a wonderful worker, it reminds me of old mom n pop stores where you’re like family. I wish you had more employees like her her because I’ve had several bad experiences.

I love the variety of drinks and food products. Very low prices in a very accessible location. I come here regularly for my grocery shopping and have never really had any issues. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Many employees are students, but they are well-trained and work hard. Definitely recommend.

I loved that there was a cleaning area before you entered the store for your cart but even better was the station as you entered by produce had everything from face masks to hand sanitizer. The masks were in a large basket and wrapped individually. The store is always clean and employees are very friendly. 5 stars for sure

Hannaford has been my go to grocery store since it was called something else in the eighties and this store meets all of my expectations. I love the staff, the store is always clean, it is well stocked, and has a nice variety for a suburban area. While prices are going up everywhere, Hannaford appears to be dropping prices where they can to even it out.

I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars, because 5 seems too perfect. Clean, well stocked, good prices (it's all relative). What more can we ask for? Find a way to get Ruffles to bring back All Dressed chips and I'll give you the other star.

Since the renovations, it seems that they do not carry the items you rely on. I liked the organic section which made shopping easier but now I have to go hunting through the store looking for what I want, taking more time out of my day. Too often, I buy a canned or boxed item and get home to find that it's past the expiration date or it's very close. Produce can be disappointing. The bakery section is satisfactory, and the deli is excellent.
