Save A Lot is basically like any grocery store you might find in a city the size of Dunkirk. Unfortunately, in the event that you may need assistance in finding a certain product, you probably won't find an employee either. Except for the cashiers, and the woman that handles the produce department, I'm not sure that there are any other employees. My only problem other than absentee employees is keeping the sales of the Dunkirk SavALot and that of the store located outside of Silver Creek separate because they are owned by two different people. This only bothered me when I happen to be shopping from the weekly flyer from the Dunkirk store but was actually in the Silver Creek location. Each store has their own sale each week and they advertise in a flyer printed up for their store only. Therefore the sale prices in one store may be different from the other and the don't have to be and usually aren't, honored by both locations.

Always have fresh produce and their meat was very well packed. Friendly cashiers and everything was shelved neatly and easy to find!

They have made a lot of positive changes since I was last in there. Much nicer atmosphere, a lot cleaner, better product presentation, friendly cashier. I will definitely shop there again.Stop back in and still a well stocked plesant place to shop.

This Save-A-Lot is unusual to say the least. Sometimes it has the feel of a market place in Mexico, the on-site meat cutters have a good selection of meats, including some you might not find in other grocery stores, both in animal and cut. This is a good place for pig's feet, beef tongue, I get pork butts there when they have good deals. Mexican and Caribbean produce is also right up front just as you walk through the door, I like that walking into a produce market feel. The rest of the place is just a clean, well-stocked, grocery store. It's small and the staff have always been nothing but nice to me. Bring your own bags or boxes.

Employees are very friendly. The meats, poultry, and all other foods are very fresh and all the breads and pastries are absolutely delicious. The entire store is very clean from the front of the store to the back of the store and that includes the bathroom. The managers, Clerks and every other employee are very friendly and greet you with a smile and a friendly greeting throughout the day. I recommend visiting this site and doing your shopping right here at this awesome store Save A Lot!

So I’ve gone to save a lot in North Collins and silver creek and never have I had to pay for a paper bag when paying with food stamps since the paper bag fee is to be waved when paying with food stamps. I was a manager of a store and I have the paperwork still so Dunkirk Save a Lot isn’t following the regulations for food stamps. I won’t be shopping here anymore.

A family member of mine took me to save-a-lot. I was very impressed first of all the prices are below Walmart, the food quality is better than walmart. And there was a lot of cute girls there I definitely will be back.

Not a bad store overall, but they took out the hallway bench an never replaced it. No place to wait for a cab or ride, also I HIGHLY disagree with the bird spikes put on the roof of the store!As an animal advocate, and given this business is right on the lake and gulls are to be expected I don't see a need for them.

Frustrating how the store moved the bread to the first isle, went to find price and there was not tag. Their brand white bread is $1.59 FYI

Gotta love some of the Hispanic foods you find here! Some of them I've never seen in any other Save A Lot anywhere. I am a huge fan of variety and that's something I can always find in this store

I buy fresh roasted dark roast beans. I grind and brew at the same time. I love fresh coffee. They have an assortment of beans or they will. Grind your purchase if needed. They also sell things such as souvenir of Buffalo and gellato.

Rude staff who gets visibly annoyed when I buy more than a few items. Cashier got angry today because I had many items and cut into her smoke break by choosing her line. Hate going to this store and I wouldn't but am forced to sometimes due to time constraints.

Maggots in doughnuts and in raw rice.it needs to be pestessized...or closed down.plus prices change depends on what day of the month it is. Poor welcoming and bags to carry groceries are 11 cents EACH!

The store is kept clean, prices are great, they try to keep it well stocked with a good selection of foods and the manager's are friendly and go out of their way to help their customers.

Their produce section is always extremely well kept, much nicer than Wal-Mart's. They may not have as much as Wal-Mart but the quality is much better.
