I normally never shop at this store, only because I'm not down this way very often.However I went into this store today 5/9/2023. I'm ready to check out and there stands a woman smoking pot. I'm trying to figure out why this is allowed. I won't be back. And the store associate is on the phone and not saying a word to her about the smoking. I had to give a star to make a review.

The employees at the Dollar general on 4th Street in dunkirk are awesome people. Today (12/27/21) approximately around 3pm I went to get groceries and my gift card wouldn't work. I got discouraged and was going to leave when the manager Doreen told me she would take care of it along with a customer. I'm beyond thankful for these people. They don't even have to but they make sure we leave with everything we need regardless. For them to spend their own money on people they don't even know is beyond a blessing. I'll continue to give them my service because you don't find that ANYWHERE these days. I hope they are recognized for what they did for me today. I know I'll never forget them as long as I live.

The prices are right, customer service is great and friendly. Wish all of them would have a public restroom. I don't like having to leave in the middle of shopping to go somewhere else and use the bathroom. (My reason for mentioning this is because I have a severe medical condition and I need to know where bathrooms are at all times).

Well I guess I thought that the digital coupons were able to be used more than once especially if there's 5 products to choose from that you have to add up to $5.00 and you then receive a $1.00 off. Well I did it yesterday with pillsbury cinnamon rolls and 2 totinos pizzas. Today I tried it with 2 toaster strudels and a totinos pizza roll and didn't receive the $1.00 off with the digital coupon. I don't believe that its fair.
