I love Aldis, the store, but the employees at this location in Dunkirk, NY are just horrible.I've never encountered more miserable people, especially the older woman with the blonde bob haircut.It has also gotten dirty and there has been a smashed dairy door with a cardboard covering it for months, all through the holiday and everything.This store needs an entire overhaul and new attitude before I will ever shop there again. Let me know when it happens please.

A person tried walking out of the store with food the day before Easter. Several employees attacked the man, using another woman's cart in their fight with him. No regard for my child standing there. What was important was a couple dollars in food. Disgusting display of aggression.

I can always count on Aldi's for providing food and products from labels that you won't generally find in the other grocery stores in my area. And they usually offer these items at prices that don't make my heart skip a beat, too.And now that they have utilized the self-checkout that so many other stores have started using, I find that I can get the things I need to buy and be out of the store in a fraction of the time it takes for me to shop in the bigger stores like Tops and Walmart. Aldis is able to provide it's customers with the features of a convenience store with the selection and prices that rival the larger stores in the Dunkirk/Fredonia area. What's not to like about that at a time of rising food costs and more demands being put onto what little free time people may still be able to find in their hectic days?

I was surprised I like it here everything I got I liked and it was cheaper than tops and Walmart I was very pleased somebody gave me a grocery cart coming in which I didn't have to pay anything for and I passed it on and gave it to someone else very please

Careful with self check out. People are walking up to self checkouts and scanning something and walking out! I started my order with a paper bag, got home and noticed a bag of shrimp on my receipt before the paper bag which I didn't purchase. Can't seem to connect with customer service, is it a secret?

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALDIS. SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES THAT I'VE HAD CONSTANT CONTACT WITH HAVE BEEN SO AWESOME. WELL, I'M DISABLED N I HAVE A WORKING ANIMAL. I'VE BEEN GOING IN THAT STORE FOREVER WITH MY DOG. A 4LB CHIHUAHUA. HE WEARS HIS VEST N DOESN'T MAKE A SOUND. ALL THE EMPLOYEES JUST LOVE TO SEE HIM N EVEN KNOW HIM BY NAME. WHEN I GO IN THE STORE HE RIDES IN BUGGY THAT IS FULL COVERED N PROTECTED FOR HIS N OTHERS SAFETY. WELL THE OTHER DAY I WENT IN THERE LIKE I ALWAYS DO TO PURCHASE HIS FOOD BECAUSE HE'LL ONLY EAT ALDIS BRAND. WHEN OUTTA NOWHERE A EMPLOYEE I'VE NEVER SEEN CAME UP TO ME N ANOTHER LADY THAT ALSO HAD HER SERVICE DOG N ASKED US TO LEAVE. THAT OUR "EMOTIONAL DOGS DON'T COUNT AS A WORKING DOG" MY DOG WEARS HIS VEST, NEVER MAKES A NOISE N IS THERE TO HELP ME. SHE WAS RUDE N DEFINITELY UNPROFESSIONAL. NOT SURE WHAT MAKES HER THINK SHE'S EVEN QUALIFIED TO SAY WHAT KINDA WORK MY DOGS DOES. I GRABVED MY DOG N I KEFT. I'LL NOT BE RETURNING. ANOTHER EMPLOYEE THAT KNOWS US, SAW WHAT HAPPENED N SHE WAS LEFT WITH HER MOUTH ON THE FLOOR N COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT SHE SAW. I'M SO UPSET. ALDIS EMPLOYEES NEED TO REALLY LEARN THE LAWS. THIS ISN'T THE END OF THIS. I HOPE SOMEONE SEES THIS FROM THE STORE N REACHES OUT TO US.

Pretty standard Aldi. But our Cashier was amazing. Every Aldi I've been to cashiers are too quick and kinda rude. Not this store. Super sweet and helpful. Wish there was more gluten-free options. But other than that it was a fine trip.

Love the prices and selection of products at my local Aldi store in Dunkirk NY. The new self checkouts work great because I can bag my groceries as I go. The self checkouts at the Dunkirk, NY store are the FILTHIEST I have EVER seen. Very greasy, dirty, just so nasty, you wouldn't even want to set a reusable bag and your food on them.

Visited this Aldi location while out of town. Stopped in for a few quick groceries for our camping trip. Nice, clean store. Staff was pleasant. Quality products as you would expect from Aldi.My only complaint, and it's a silly one, is that it took me forever to find the ketchup because they had all the condiments tucked away on a far back end cap, not near any of the products they would go with. I walked around the store three times before I found it.

One shopping cart available and one check out line open! Yikes! Fresh fruits! Lack of meat specials in stock! Prices keep climbing, but still seem to be the cheapest for most things, just have to watch for smaller packages!

Waited in line for 16 minutes (I counted) with 2 other customers on the belt on two waiting. A new register opened and like gentlemen the two who were waiting next went in order. I continued to wait in the same line when a 3rd register opened and the flood of people just arriving were taken before me. 9 people that weren't even in line cashed out and left before it was even my turn. When I asked the cashier what their policy was, next on line or whatever savage gets there first, she said she didn't know. Very alert staff.

Id have to say that as well as lakewood are the strongest two stores for amazing employees..and that's the truthHowever lakewood needs alit more selection and dks they need too breathe a lil....Not kill ya alls self...lol.you are doing amazing.

Best place in the area to shop, bar none! Clean, easy to get around, great products, friendly staff and the best prices I've found anywhere. I've been shopping here for years and had very few problems, but when I've had them the staff is friendly and makes it right. I love that they have things like cage free eggs, hormone free milk, and antibiotic free meats for half the cost of other stores, and the produce quality is amazing. I also really enjoy all their international options. I don't see why this isn't everyone's first stop when shopping.

Overall a good location. Item locations is odd to me. When is there an isle of non food items between isles of food items. $100 fills an entire grocery cart , compared to $30 at the brand name stores. Selection isn't the best, but enough choices to fill the fridge and cupboards

They recently remodeled the store. The quality of their produce can be awesome or not. They don't have scales so you can't buy less produce than in their bags(you can't get one small bunch of grapes, you have to buy a huge bunch in the sealed bag). Some great products at affordable prices.

The quality is outstanding and the prices can't be beat. They continue to expand their selection of nutritious foods and they've eliminated of many artificial ingredients, which we appreciate. We love this store!

this Store really needs a person who knows how to handle the produce department. I watched with in horror an employee take her frustration out on bags of apples and assorted other soft fleshed produce, explains why the department looks more like a compost pile than a store sales department

No review needed - if you don't shop there - you never have. People scream about putting quarters in to get a shopping cart? Don't see anybody wandering and servicing the parking lot impacting the companies bottom line now - do ya?
