I was hoping to find a name brand hotel in this area and there was none to be had! I was driving past this place and as a lover of Schitt's Creek, I decided to try it. There was no one to greet us, but a sign on the door to pick an open room, keys were inside and pay on the way out, as there wasn't anyone around at the time. Very convenient! Room was very clean and the enclosed outside porch was a game changer in terms of being a smoker. The room had both a microwave and a fridge (which even the bigs guys don't always have both) and checking out the next day across the street at the mercantile gave off a real country feel. Wifi was great, beds were clean and comfy. Love this stay and recommend for the great value it was!

Was not happy with my stay.Fan blades covered in dust, dust around TV too. Cobwebs in corners.There has to be a nicer place somewhere nearby.The sheets are old and scratchy. The towels are very thin. If you can fall asleep you will not stay asleep as there is no insulation, you will hear every car, truck and motorcycle that goes down HWY 30. The in room ac is too loud to use. A lot of road noise probably comes from that as it too is not insulated correctly.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was spacious and clean. A good supply of pillows and blankets. Spent a lot of time on the back porch watching the bald eagles, birds, bunnies, butterflies, even a doe and fawn at twilight coming for a drink at the river. Really appreciated the use of the kayaks. It was a leisurely paddle to the covered bridge and back. We got the room that allowed our dog. She enjoyed the field in the back for sniffing and walking. Definitely will be back here when the mountains call me again.

Excellent property and very convenient to the Camp ground activities. Owner and front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic rustic charm. All you can ask Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, Fridge , microwave, a little balcony with an amazing view of the Delaware river. Pet friendly!!! I’m in love

It's one of my favorite places to stay at. The owners are very friendly and polite. The place itself is amazing because of the nature and the animals you see just walking around not being afraid and the chipmunks come around and play around you. I love it there! I would recommend this place for anyone who is animal friendly and also loves nature. If you want to get away from NYC and go to a calm and quiet place then Downsville Motel is the place because at night you can come out to the porch and count the countless stars in the sky!

We went in the off season and it was pretty deserted but we found the rooms immaculately clean, the staff exceptional and the area gorgeous. Motel sits right on the River at the foot of the Reservoir so it's perfect for fisherman and even has a bait shop on across the street (I think same owners). Great spot!

Very clean room. This was our 2nd weekend staying. Comfortable beds, nice clean bathroom. Kitchenette with coffee, microwave, small fridge and sink. Free wifi and plenty of channels on tv. Location is beautiful. Front of motel has beautiful flowers along the entire length. Al & Mike are very nice folks! Definitely recommend and we will be staying here again.

I totally agree with the above reviewer. This has been a favorite hideaway of mine for years. The back patio is on the edge of a large grassy yard that slopes down to the East Branch of the Delaware River. The town has a old style diner, 2 bars, one of which is also a restaurant which makes some of the best hamburgers I've ever had. Surrounded by mountains with spring fed streams coming down to the river. If you know who to ask there are a few swimming holes that are gorgeous. You won't find anything 5 star. It's not Aspen. But if you want a rustic wknd getaway this is a place I recommend. There's even an apple tree Al may let you pick a few from.

Pretty nice as motels go. No frills, great views around the property. The rooms have little outdoor decks. I think they have canoes for rent. Prices are reasonable.

Friendly owner, room with all the amenities you need microwave, mini fridge, wifi, TV, cable.Rooms: Comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking lake.Nearby activities: Town of Downsville 1 mile where you can dine at Downsville Diner, Old School House or pick up items at mini mart or dollar day store. The next town Walton is a 10 mile drive or Rosecose 13 miles with more rest options

Was lost in the mountain ride..[getting colder huge bugs,no light ....]Luckily found this place .(no one at the office at the time but the massage said certain rooms r available and keys inside....)Never seen place like this....so im staying here tonight...thank you.
