I started using Harlem Valley vet when billings animal hospital closed. The vet is very knowledgeable and he's no nonsense. I know when I bring my cats there I'm going to get it straight including that one of my cats needs to be on a diet lol but seriously he warned me that if I don't the cat will be dealing with diabetes down the road. He offered me suggestions on how I can handle reducing his food intake. Loving this vet so far. Thank you

Just got home from our first visit. The most attentive vet I’ve ever met! Answered all my questions and talked with me for an hour regarding my puppy’s habits and mannerisms. Very clean, not too expensive & has friendly staff!!

Don't go here if you love your pet! Dr Sebetic doesn't genuinely care about your pet, just the bill your visit will generate. He ALWAYS goes to the worst possible case instead of ruling out the simple causes so you are willing to spend whatever it takes to save your pet. Our miniature dachshund developed an eye infection that resembled conjunctivitis. We took him to Harlem Valley Animal Clinic on 12/27/22. Dr Sebetic told us that he thought he had a tumor behind his eye. We told him we thought that he had infected teeth. Dr Sebetic focused on a tumor and advised of the cost to do a biopsy. He prescribed 2 weeks of antibiotic tablets that didn't help at all. We brought him to the HV Animal Clinic two times in two weeks. I spoke to Dr Sebetic four times. This careless veterinarian was not treating him as an emergency patient. He said we were overreacting. We took him to another veterinary hospital 1/12/23. They treated him aggressively with an antibiotic shot. It was too late. The abscess broke that night,1/12/23 at 11pm, and caused him to have a stroke. We had an hour drive to an emergency vet in Brewster. Our dog went through so much. It was such a traumatic end of life. He deserved better. He passed away from what was curable. Dr Sebetic basically went off his own diagnosis not a medical one, and didn't treat our 14 year dog for what was wrong. It cost our dog's life. I wouldn't bring a gold fish to this veterinarian. He purposely let my baby suffer for weeks and die.*spoke to Sebetic and he refuses to own what he did. He actually told me it was our fault. Stay away from here!JANUARY 13, 2024 ::: IT HAS BEEN A YEAR SINCE Mark KILLED OUR BOY.*Sebetic told us our yellow lab had a neurological disorder and had less than 6 months to live .... five years ago. It was lymes disease.*Courtney is heartless. After knowing my dog passed away 3 days prior under their care, she only had unprofessional comments to say to me.

I must give them 5 Stars, if there were more stars, they would get the highest from me. Harlem Valley Animal Clinic took care of our Haley our yellow lab for over 16 1/2 years, I truly believe their care helped keep her alive that long. They even donated in Haley's name when she passed to a veterinarian college. Doctor Sebetic cared for Haley and made her comfortable every visit she had. Courtney was always kind, understanding and a pleasure on the phone and the office. I will miss them because we don’t have any more animals and no other animal can replace Haley.

2 weeks ago, my wife and I had to put our beloved dog to sleep. Max was a big part of our family and it was devastating that after 18 years he was finally gone. During the initial checkup a month back, the staff was nothing but kind and considerate to my wife as well as our feelings. They treated max like he was a part of the family and not just an animal. We had to take him in one day when he was past the point of no return and suffering. They accommodated us and comforted us during our ordeal. We received a sympathy card in the mail about a week and a half after max had passed.When we went to pick up his ashes, they included a beautiful poem as well as their sympathies again.During max’s 18 year life he had a vet that was cold towards him and treated him like he was in an assembly line. We never felt that here. We’re happy that they made him as well as us as comfortable as we could be. My wife and I are so appreciative that we just happened to live in Dover plains and Harlem valley was close by. We stumbled on the best vet we both ever encountered. We can’t thank the staff enough.

Great place. Most caring vets ever. And the boarding is reasonably priced. My dog Gus loves going there. Even after having a 6 inch slice in his neck to remove a tumour. He jumps like mad when we pull in.

I recently switched my puppy’s care over time Dr. Sebetic and I couldn’t be happier. If she doesn’t feel well the office makes sure to squeeze her in. He’s thorough and great with the animals. I love how he takes the time to explain everything in detail.

Very happy & satisfied with Harlem Valley Animal Clinic. Staff is always cheerful. Doctor is patient with animals, and takes time to talk to pet owners. Prices are reasonable. I give Harlem Valley Animal Clinic 10 stars.

While at this veterinarian, I received fine service, and brought great attention to my animal. But upon leaving I realized that there were many things they were missing out on. He was not tested for heartworm or tickborne diseases, which upon switching veterinarians I realized my dog did have a lime infection, which could’ve been begun treatment much earlier on. Also when I was switching veterinarians they were very stubborn and difficult to deal with in transferring over his medical records.Absolutely nice and caring, but negligence to the overall health by NOT PERFORMING BASIC BLOOD SCREENINGS for my furry best friend is unacceptable

The veterans at this location are knowledgeable and will explain every option to you in a way that is easy to understand. They have a friendly attitude and the rest of the staff do as well. I have used this clinic for two major surgeries on two different dogs, I give them an A+.

The vets that work at this office, in particular Dr. Sebetic, are the only people I will allow to touch my animals. I drive half an hour just to get to this office. It's worth it. He's saved one of my dogs' lives once ... no kidding. Excellent veterinarian with a HUGE heart.

Brought my dog there because she wasn't feeling well she was puking and had diarrhea and all they cared about was having money first then seeing the patient, they wouldn't even see her and she was whippering too, such careless people that was such a disgusting sight to see, they need to care more about the animals that's the whole point of a vet hospital!
