Save your sanity, never use this pharmacy again.You'll actually save gas money driving to a different pharmacy, because you'll come here after getting alerted that your prescription is filled, yet find out they don't even have it in stock.The pharmacy staff are the most incompetent people I've ever had to deal with, and no one can give you accurate information if their lives depended on it.This pharmacy would be more useful not existing than it is in it's current state. One star is even being too generous.

Send your scripts anywhere else. If they even have it in stock, it can be hours in line some nights - I know, Dover. How is that possible? — and then you’ll be lucky if the pharmacist shows up on time, or doesn’t leave early. It’s always something here.

same complaints as everyone else. worst pharmacy ever. don’t go here. customer service is unbelievable. I only go here for the one prescription they can get their unhelpful little hands on, that my hometown pharmacy cannot. They are too corporate and it shows.

The Pharmacy has quite literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been using this Pharmacy for 6 years and it was always bad but somewhat tolerable. Early in 2023 it took a turn from bad to terrible. They cancel RX requests without notice and have been unable to fill one of my prescriptions for 4 months. Switching to a local Pharmacy. These guys are terrible.

Once again, CVS in Dover, NY continues to fail in its commitment to serve the community. This time rather than customers being backed up; the pharmacy staff is also waiting because the pharmacist cannot be found and staff is locked out. Once again I cannot pick up my prescriptions. As this pharmacy has always been an overly consistent problem with numerous issues; you should simply close it down. This so that customers can move on to other alternatives. Side note, when I call in a prescription number, your digital service does not recognize it. When I call from home; the pharmacy staff deliberately ignores the call. When I call from the CVS store; the pharmacy ignores the call. CVS in Dover is an embarrassment.

Most unreliable CVS pharmacy I've used. Today I went to pick up a prescription. Google and the CVS site say they're open. Sign on the store says in October the pharmacy will be closed Sundays and have abbreviated hours during the week. This is not the fault of the pharmacists or the employees, it's terrible management. Always long lines at the pharmacy - between 10 and 20 people. Going to switch my default pharmacy because this is ridiculous.

Wide array of items covering foodstuffs, vitamins, cleansers, stationery, candy and first aid products. Automated kiosks for photographs. Pharmacist on-site who does consultations. The cashier is very nice, but CVS’ receipts are notoriously long! The pricing is decent, and sometimes there are attractive sales. The shopping plaza in front offers ample parking for anybody visiting this CVS.

Every kind of good for personal care, first aid, stationery, housewares, detergents, refreshments and then some! Staff friendly and efficient. Pricing decent. Pharmacy in rear, which does consultations. Photo kiosks in the front. Abundant parking in the front lot.

I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru today and when I was finally asked if I was there to pick up , I told her that I had been waiting 15 minutes and that is unreasonable. She immediately got an attitude. Instead of apologizing she said the drive thru is just a courtesy and if I didn't want to wait , I can go inside. She continued to argue, telling me they do have other customers. I just drove away without my medications. The customer service here is horrible. They always act like they are doing you a favor ... hence the poor ratings. I called to stop automatic refills when I got home and after waiting 17 minutes , I hung up. The next day , I went inside and the line was about 8 people long and wasn't moving. I spoke with the manager and she is as horrible as the people that work there. She was unprofessional and has no customer service skills. I tried to go through the drive-up because of the line inside. The attached picture is a sign that was on the drive-up window. The place is a train wreck! I am just going somewhere else.9/4/23This place should shut their door. 2 of my prescriptions, that are on automatic refills were not filled and I ran out. These prescriptions are taken daily and are very important for my health. I called the pharmacy and after 25+ minutes waiting for someone to pickup, the Pharmacist had nothing to say but they are short on staff. She actually called me rude for being upset. I was loud because she wouldn't let me speak. She told me that I am more than welcome to go somewhere else for my medication. She even encouraged me to complain to corporate CVS. This is the 2nd time in a month that I have gone without medication because CVS has staffing issues.

I’m not sure what’s happening, but I can never get my prescriptions in reasonable time. The pharmacy does not seem to have enough people with knowledgable experience to handle the town needs. I feel terrible for them and the line of people who wait with hope that they will actually be helped once they make it to the counter. More often than not, they are told to come back later or another day. And if one thinks to call to avoid the lines, don’t even bother unless you have the stamina to listen to 10 minutes of terrible music with a probable outcome of zero luck in any human interaction.

I would give this place 0 star if possible. The pharmacy never answers their call. Have been on hold for over 10 minutes each time and still unanswered, no matter what time of the day one calls.Update: I was told by other employees in the store that the pharmacy is short of staffs, so they are just not going to answer calls. I will be going somewhere else going forward. Good luck for those who needs to use them.

I had precisely the same experience as all the other complainants. Appalling. If the Pharmacist is a recent hire he/she must be fired and replaced with someone competent. CVS you are loosing business because of these staff members!!! I’m moving all my scrips and business elsewhere as well.

minus stars for not caring about the people who need prescriptionsthe pharmacy will not answer the phone . There is not enough help in the pharmacy I have the app and after 6 days of my prescription was still in process i called and after 30 minutes of the phone ringing I got in my car and drove there with my cell phone still waiting for the pharmacy to answer I get there to find a line and the phone ringing and no one has any intention of answeringthis is disgraceful total disregard for the people who need their prescriptionsshame on you CVS for putting profits over people

Avoid pharmacy at all costs. A staffing issue means they won’t answer phones and still didn’t have prescriptions filled after two days. Nothing but long waits and confusion

Dover cvs is ridiculous!!!!! They hold your prescription. They keep saying 5 of my things are in progress. When they should of been filled 4 days ago when i got out of the hospital. These people dont care at all. Im definitely going to find another pharmacy so i stop getting screwed by them.

Had to leave 1 star to leave a post so you can disregard the 1 star!! The new pharmasist they have is rude, nasty and incompetent!! I went in to pick up a prescription and she lied saying it was filled on a certain day, I brought the bottle in to show her and she just hid behind her computer screen. I called today to see if they were open because of the storm and she answered and I asked if they were open and she rudely said "I answered the phone didnt I"! Why work for the public if you don't like the public!! Will be calling corporate ASAP!!

Disgraceful!! Pharmacy staff…VERY RUDE!!! I was on hold for the Pharmacy for 5 minutes. A staff member picked up my call just to say “please hold”. Then I was disconnected. I called back immediately only to get a recording, that the pharmacy was closed for lunch. Absolutely the worst!!.

I've had multiple unpleasant experiences with this pharmacy and have stopped filling my prescriptions there. They are impossible to reach via telephone and are unpleasant when dealing in person.

Honestly can't wait until my insurance switches April 1st and I say BYE BYE to Caremark. There isn't a CVS on the planet, this one included, that doesn't have bad service and slow moving employees. This pharmacy couldn't be bothered to fill a prescription on time then made me wait an additional 20 minutes when I got there just out of spite. They also don't answer their phones most of the time and when they do put you on hold for 10 minutes. But. Again. Not worse than any other CVS.

I recently went to this CVS location for my flu shot. It is not the nearest to my home, but would go back to this pharmacy in the future. The pharmacist working seemed really busy/overworked but he managed to take care of all of his costumers in a really caring way.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Unable to get prescriptions filled for days because they say they're understaffed. Meanwhile the boys club is having a pow-wow behind the dcounter. Very frustrating

I called the pharmacy to check if my daughter’s multi vitamin is available (I was told they didn’t have it and put it in order last time, and it has been at least 1-2 months now). I called twice. The first time she just hanged off my phone without waiting me to say anything. I called again. But she told me nothing is available for pick up, and then hang off my phone without waiting for my response. Very rude! And this location is short of medicines often.

i use this CVS up until today, I’m set up with the doctor calling in prescriptions they get prescribed in the wrong dosage as well as they always seem to turn up missing and I have to call the doctors office again. I’ll just go to Pawling it’s easier less of a hassle last times I have to go back

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a couple of items and bumped into the manager on duty. He took me directly to the first item and gave very clear directions to the rest. Good to see a Manager who knows his store!
