We stopped here at the suggestion of the people at the nearby Covered Bridge store/diner, as their kitchen was closed for dinner when we stopped in, and didn't regret it.My kids got a cheeseburger and chicken nuggets, which they enjoyed.My wife got a fried fish, and liked it quite a bit.I got a grilled chicken sandwich, and this was good. The meat was well cooked but not dry, and tasty.This is a pretty small place, and we were here pretty late but they served us without issue and were very kind about us getting dinner even though it was only about 30 minutes before they were closing for the night.

We’d stopped in for lunch, which was reasonably priced and delicious. Of course we had to have ice cream as well, we decided to try the blueberry twist and were not disappointed! It was amazing and a huge serving for medium cone. For sweet potato fries, onion petals, two burgers and two medium cones it was less than $30.Parking: There’s ample parking.

Very Nice Roadside Country Restaurant. Reasonable Fair Prices, Good Food, Big Portions, Hot Strong Coffee, Ice Cold Soad, Yes Ice-cream! No Dress Code, Lay Back Vibe. If you are looking for the Beach Bar Seen or High End Restaurant, this is not the place. This is a kid friendly - Family Place. Well Worth the Travel Time from the Mohawk Valley. I just hope the above never changes. So many places are increasing their prices and lowering their portion sizes along with switching in low-end food. Please Keep Green Acres what it is Now. Oh my goodness where do I begin! My family was camping nearby and we drove by many times so finally decided to stop in for lunch. What a great decision! The prices were very good for the huge quantity, and quality, of the food we got. The service was very friendly and they even had GLUTEN FREE options which was a very welcome surprise! Even though it is a bit of a drive my kids want to make this a regular habit for the summer!

I'm from the area so maybe you can consider me a bit biased but my wife is not and she also feels that this place is a nice little gem of the area.Small town charm. Clean as a whistle. Excellent staff. Good food. If you're in the area during the summer months/early fall when this place is open, stop in for a good meal and friendly environment.Parking: Plenty of parking in front and round the back.Kid-friendliness: High chairs a plenty for the little ones. Bench seats and kid menus for the little bit bigger ones.

I was actually sad because I went with my son&a buddy with her daughter, for mother's day they were handing out cute carnations(flowers) to all the moms who were dining in the dining room but my friend&I were the only ones who didn't get flowers all the mom's who were there before us had 1 and all the new one's who walked in while we were there got 1 but nothing for us, such a shame but the food was really good 👍. 😔😭💔

Nice little place to get ice cream! They also have decent burgers and fries and other drive - in staples. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would give them 5 stars but sadly the prices keep rising every year. Where will it stop?

Food has all the good basics. Seasonal place that has been super involved in the community for years. Food is quick to be ready. The ice cream is the main reason why people come here! Lots of yummy sundae options.

Service is always very friendly. Food prices can be on the high side, but you pay for great quality. I usually order the burger and fries which taste good. More often than not, however, I order the ice cream. Primarily the cotton candy which is delicious. If you want the most wonderful ice cream on a hot sunny day, this is the place to go. I would love to but their ice cream year round

Great food, great prices, and super nice and prompt service. It's an institution and well worth the trip. Try a Mexican burger, onion petals, or chicken basket. There are no bad choices. Look for the flavor specials in the soft serve.

Been going here since I was a new born, and my father was going there since an was there on the day they opened. Always make it a point to go every season, even now in N.C. Its still my first stop when I come upKid-friendliness: Always papers with pictures to color and crayons, often coloring contest for children as wellWheelchair accessibility: One floor, no steps, right from the car through the door to the table and if needed it's the same thing to get to the bathroom.

They have some of the best ice cream around and they are so reasonable priced. Their ice cream is so creamy and has awesome flavor. They always have a different flavor of the week. They also have a lactose option for people that can't have regular ice cream.

Well kept up, bathrooms not handicap accessible for wheel chair, this is not meant as a criticism just an observation if somebody comes into town looking for wheelchair accessible restrooms. Outdoor picnic areas. Excellent food a little pricey, open seasonally. Staff is very friendly and helpful and inside service is waited on

I have always loved coming to Green Acres. Very little has changed since I was a child. The prices are good, and it's a great place to stop whether you want to get a quick icecream, take-out, or a sit-down dinner.

I have been coming here since i was little and it is one of the best around, they have great food and the service is quick. The whole staff treat you like there family. I highly recommend it :)
