My husband and I went to the Dobbs Ferry Walgreens for our Covid and Flu injections. It was a very positive experience. The Pharmacist and Staff were terrific. The area where we received our injections ensured our privacy. I would recommend this Walgreens for your vaccine needs.

Wonderful people in the pharmacy. I'm shocked at what other people think of this pharmacy considering they've been extremely helpful with me and I've seen them be great with other customers whenever I'm there. I've worked retail before though so I do know the unrealistic expectations of some people. I hope they keep the people there right now for as long as they can.

Not a great experience. Following advice by one employee to get a better price by ordering a different size a couple of weeks ago, then another employee forgot to order for yesterday, then I came today when closed for lunch, then back this evening to find advice turned out to be incorrect and I paid more than I would have in the first instance. And really angered the employee working there today. After really annoying my doctor.

ZERO STARS. RUDEST Staff I've encountered anywhere. There is a manager there (currently with a wrist brace) who has a TERRIBLE attitude problem and outright refused my ability to drop off a package there based totally on "her not liking me". The package was within the dimensions and the employee wanted to argue with me about whether it was a FedEx service or a Walgreens service. She did not take kindly to anyone disagreeing with her and proceeded to try and bully me by threatening to refuse my package. When I wouldn't apologize or backdown for stating facts about FedEx, this employee followed through with refusing my package. Incredibly unprofessional. Avoid this place.

0 stars. Two prescriptions and BIG UNPLEASANT PROBLEMS. My vet was on hold for one hour to give a prescription. When I called to check if ready, I was on hold 20 minutes then cut off. The pharmacy manager said that was impossible because he always picks up by the third ring. Unfortunately I had another RX to be transmitted and since I had to go to Walgreens to pick up the vet’s RX, I had my doctor transmit it to Walgreens. It was sent at 11:15am and the pharmacy had no record of it at 4:30 pm. The woman at the counter told me to call my doctor and have it sent again. I called and had it sent to CVS. Then back to the counter where I said that the pharmacy was terrible but I needed to pay for the RX for my cat. She refused to help me and THEN I raised my voice. She called over a second person who would not speak with me and called the police. I finally got the pharmacy manager to listen and I paid. The police came and they both said they have a lot of problems with this Walgreens (11Ashford, Dobbs Ferry NY) and personally would never use it! NEVER AGAIN. Not my first Walgreens problem but definitely my last.

Under no circumstances should you use this pharmacy.If you have medications that you need, or your life depends on, you do not want them here.This pharmacy is so bad that even my local doctor, after I asked him to send my prescriptions here, rolled his eyes and started telling me how all of his patients have problems with them.I've also now heard the same thing from other people who live in the town and they've told me not to even bother involving the store manager because he doesn't care and won't do anything.These negative online reviews are real and, no, they're not from high-maintenance demanding customers because I'm not. I'm patient and courteous and give people the benefit of the doubt.I also have a certificate in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and, after one week -- one full week -- of trying to get a problem fixed that I did not cause, I was stressed, unhappy and on the verge of tears. For a Rx??!!Save yourself from this type of stress. Go to CVS. Go to Walmart. Order online. Order anywhere but here.It's not worth the negative impact on your happiness and peace of mind. Trust me on this.

my heart goes out to the lovely pharmacy staff who have to deal with so many nasty customers on a daily basis </3 every time i am there they are nothing but sweet and helpful. i can only guess that the only way they can be rude is that they are tired and snippy sometimes because of all the people who are impatient and rude because their medications aren't done in 5 min during a rush of 15+ people or that their copay is so high because their insurances don't cover the medications completely!! a little empathy and kindness goes a long way for both sides!

The store requires you to have a Walgreens card and will not use a "store card" even if the items are on sale. The store is also a little shady and we tend to have issues there each time we go (which is too bad since it is the closest drug store). Strange hours, limited inventory, inflexible policies (see issue with discounts above), slow check out, other small but annoying issues. Possibly could be improved with a motivated manager??

Walgreens is a great place. This Walgreens is just like any other Walgreens you’ll encounter. Clean, friendly, organized. I can’t speak about the pharmacy problems written on here. I’m not like the miserable 50 year old sick Americans that are bound to a wheelchair at that age and need medication to live. I’m a young normal person that comes in here for snacks, the occasional over-the-counter drug. etc. Reading the reviews I can see that it’s just typical entitled customers complaining. (If you’ve worked Retail you know what I’m talking about) (No, I do not nor have I worked here.) Anyway, great store!

This is for the Pharmacy not the store itself.I understand the world is short staffed right now but...Pharmacy hours are 10-6 M-F? And closed completely on weekends?Ok, the least they could do is show up on time then! As if a 10am start not late enough, they show up at 10:30 to open.This is why so many people in Dobbs Ferry miss Cary's Pharmacy. The Board should have never approved this monstrosity in this town in the first place.

Went in to get migraine medication- the woman behind the counter was bent over doing god only knows what - 2 other associates were in the store had to tell her there was a customer - she was incredibly rude even ruder when I asked if I had points she said no I asked really? I am a frequent Walgreens shopper went home checked I had points - She didn’t even acknowledge me - no thank you have a nice day anything I get it no one wants to work anymore but here we are we if you don’t like your job get a new one! I hope she is not a manager because I will be calling - if you can’t be polite to customers or acknowledge them when they are at the counter because I stood there for a good 2-3 min and I was the only person in the store don’t work there not that hard! Sorry you had to work a holiday we’ve all been there

This may be the worst drugstore ever inflicted on an unsuspecting public. The pharmacy staff are rude, lazy and unhelpful. On top of that, the turnover is ridiculous so that you're never talking to the same person from Monday to Tuesday. They are overly rigid and frankly not very informed. Many of the licenced pharmacists are there just for a day, so they have no interest in the store's reputation and thus in what the patients need or think. Wait times are often horrific, getting through on the phone is a miracle, and sometimes getting an email or text that "your prescription is ready for pickup" is simply not true. None of the staff seems to feel like calling a customer about a problem but let them shlep in only to be turned away after waiting in line. The clerks in the rest of the store are surly, at least one "manager" is obnoxious and hostile, and parts of the shelves are usually skimpily stocked (and god help you if you ask for some help)These facts about this store are well known. Where is the company's management. If I were a Walgreen's exec, I'd close it down. It's hopeless. Meanwhile, take your Rx business somewhere else.

Worst pharmacy in every way. I tried to have one prescription filled here and was told that my insurance doesn't work at Walgreens and I should go to CVS or Rite Aid. Wha?? When I tried to have the prescription reversed days later, they said it had been successfully filled (with insurance). Next attempt at using the pharmacy was for a COVID booster. My appt was cancelled the evening before. I missed their call. No voicemail, email or txt was left, and they were closed an hour later when I called back. So I never got the memo. I was turned away when I arrived and told to make a new appt online for next week, but they are completely booked up and have no power to try to fit in cancelled appointments. Just awful. Go to Greenleaf down the street!

As somebody that has personally seen the pharmacy staff here get yelled at and abused for something not their fault, this staff really doesn't get the respect they deserve. They have been amazing to me everytime I've been there and have gone above and beyond to help me and my family. I really believe most of the comments here are from the rude and entitled people that yell at them when they should be yelling at their doctor instead.

Reading about this Walgreens made me so sad because after living in Dobbs Ferry for 3 years and using the store for different purposes- Pharmacy, provision etc, it is has the kindest sweetest workers.When you leave feedback, please remember that the employees are humans too. I have encountered a few people come in with mountain sized problems and expect to be served hand and foot while other (sometimes impatient) customers are waiting.If you go into a store and an employee doesn't smile, (yes I understand it would be nice if they did), you smile. You never know what they are going through.I am in no way affiliated with this store other than to pop in every once in a while to buy something and I have in 3 years rarely encountered some hurried, unfriendly behaviour but to give this nice shop such poor reviews as I've read is really so sad.This is a lovely store with lovely workers. It is hard work that most probably doesn't pay loads so don't be harsh!!!!!

Pharmacy hours aren't correctly posted anywhere - google, web site, etc. Nobody answers the phone so it's anyone's guess whether they'll be open when you need your Rx. Closed on weekends, closed after 6, opens at 10...this location seems to be only for people with psychic abilities who don't have day jobs.

Made two quick stops at this location during recent visit. No queues, friendly service at the till and a good selection of items ( i have a weakness for Reese's Easter Eggs for which they had a more than abundant supply!). Payment systems worked well - i'm an international customer.

Agree with others worst pharmacy staff ever! The pharmacist (Asian woman) usually is rude and unprofessional. Looks like she hates her job and people that she has to deal with. Poor woman!All the reviews here and on Yelp tell the same, I'm surprised this Pharmacy is still open. I'll never go there for my prescription ever!

Really deserve zero stars.My wife's doctor called in two prescriptions today (Monday). They are both out of stock and won't be in till Thursday. She has stage 4 cancer. There were 13 people in line when I arrived. Spoke with the Pharmacy Manager, Maxwell H. and he tells me he is not in charge of hiring staff and the "the system" does the reordering of drugs. Not sure what he actually manage but this is complete incompetence.

Warning to all: Walgreens will not accept insurance from Aetna. You must tell your health care providers so that they don't direct prescriptions there.Update: The medicare.gov website says that Walgreens supplies up to 8 over-the-counter Covid 19 tests to Medicare customers at no cost to us. Not the case. Walgreens charges $24 plus tax for kits of 2 tests, $96 for 8, and tells you that you have to seek reimbursement from your insurance. Do NOT shop here.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST Walgreens pharmacy staff possible!! Every time I go to this location to fill prescriptions they tell me that I or my children or not in the system and ask for my insurance card and want to verify my insurance! Today had to be the absolute worst! My mother went to pick up my daughters prescription for me and they Once Again gave a hard time to fill a prescription! I sent a photo of the insurance card to my mom and that still wasn't good! I had to call the store and spoke with a pharmacist named Edith who was extremely rude and nasty cutting me off as i spoke and trying to speak over me! I told her to just send my prescription to another Walgreens i use that never gives me a hard time and she said ok fine I will and just hung up the phone on me before me even giving her any of the other pharmacies info! Long story short, she (Edith) verified my insurance and another pharmacist miraculously found my daughter in the system!! WOW!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION if possible as I definitely will!!

DO NOT GO TO THE WALGREENS PHARMACY IN DOBBS FERRY! Christine, Pharmacy Technician, was rude, obnoxious, denigrating and insulting. I went to the dedicated Express Line for prescription pick up and was told, as if I'd done something terribly wrong: "there is only one line". Why have an Express Line if you don't honor it? Every customer that witnessed this disrespectful display was horrified by what came out of Christine's mouth next during the encounter(while 3 staff members in the back sneered openly at me). All customers and a Manager agreed that I was doing exactly what a customer should do. I'm taking my business elsewhere!

Convenient, well stocked and friendly staff. Most locals say it ruined the small town feel, yet you'll see those same people shopping there every other day. Much better than most other walgreens locations due to smaller size and adequate parking.

For the PHARMACY only: it closes at 6pm & not open on weekends. They make it virtually impossible to pick up your prescriptions. The worst part is they have the wrong hours listed everywhere : google, website, app, answering service. All incorrect & different hours. This is dangerous for so many reasons.

Most disorganized pharmacy department. No one is on the same page, constantly do not have prescriptions even though they inform you they are available and to come in and pick them up. Never any follow up afterwards... this place is a mess. I have run into issues on several occasions. Do yourself a favor and get your prescriptions filled elsewhere.

Going to switch pharmacies soon. I've been living in Dobbs for 2 years and they never have my prescription filled in a timely manner. even when I call it in 2 weeks ahead of time, I still end up running out.

Pharmacy staff cant keep up with prescription flow. ER send medication at 10 AM i check at 12PM and they told me in 1H it be ready come back at 6:30PM and told me still not ready. Them staff got angry and nasty cause i told them that it was unacceptable to wait all day for a medication
