The food is excellent, but the staff are indifferent and need to seriously pay attention more. Sometimes, it takes several attempts to get their notice, and they do not check on customers nearly enough. The management needs to take note as the restaurant is great other6. My other sole note is that they should go to cloth napkins. Paper napkins in an otherwise classy restaurant are tacky.

This is my new go-to place. Excellent service, decent prices, excellent food, quality bread and a beautiful dining room with adjacent parking lot. There is a dine-in Look theater across the street. This is wonderful. In Dobbs Ferry off of the Saw Mill Pkwy.Parking: Adjacent and all around the shopping plaza.

We came with a group of 12 and ordered a variety of items on the menu. The hostess was able to seat is in the backroom so we could all sit together. The staff had decent service but the taste of the food was mixed based on our group. We wished our waiter had came by and checked on us a few times. They ended up forgetting to bring out one of our orders but had charged us for it. Luckily we brought it to their attention and they were able to adjust the bill. For the price, we were expecting more flavor in the sauces. For me especially, the gluten free pasta did not taste good and the Bolognese sauce was a bit watery. Overall, it's a cool venue to try and the staff was nice to us and we had a good time.

Everything was great at the restaurant. The food was done right and with good amount of food. Tried Pan Seared Salmon and Alla Vodka. Both were great. Staff was attentive to our needs. We ended with a Tiramisu cake and it was the best Tiramisu, I ever had.

I’ve dined in and done take out here many times, food and service is always amazing. If you have picky family members like me they have gluten free options to accommodate them too which is nice. One of the only places where every dish you try is high quality. Highly recommend not only for take out/ delivery, but great for going on a date, to sit and eat with family, or the bar. I even did a large party here and the service was excellent

We were seated quickly but it took quite awhile for someone to take our order. I was just about to get up and leave. I found myself looking for our waitress several times throughout the meal. I was also surprised to see a non cash charge on my bill. I did not know they charge extra for cashless dinner!

I have been to this location twice . The service both times have been amazing. The staff here are very professional and friendly. The food selections and the quality of the food is great as well . The prices are reasonable and the portions served here are generous. This is a very family friendly atmosphere as well . I will definitely return .

Very good food. I truly enjoyed the lentil soup. Reasonably priced. Friendly, attentive staff. LOVE the decor! Hope more people discover this place. One of the new restaurants in the Dobbs Ferry shopping / Rivertown complexes. Definitely going back!

I’ve only been to this restaurant twice. The first time, it was an ok dining experience, nothing special, even forgettable. The second time was terrible. My friends and I (only 3 of us) made a reservation at 9:15 because we saw they closed at 10:30. We decided to go late as it was one of our friends' birthday. Once we arrived, we were met with glares from the staff. Already unsettled, we stepped to the bar to let him know we had a reservation. He told us the kitchen was closed, but we could sit and order something quickly. First off, it is unprofessional for you to have the kitchen close and not advise the people on their reservation. Second, I understand that the staff has gone through a hard day, but I work as a legal assistant/barista full time and a full-time student, so I know what it’s like to be overwhelmed, but it does not give them the right to glare at us and not do your JOB. The birthday person ordered a beer while we waited but the hostess had informed us again, she was more professional, apologizing for THEIR mistake and told us if we wanted anything it would have to be now but we left instead, beer PAID (not worth $8 for a budweiser) and a sour taste in our mouths. I would say go there before 9pm, after is a risk of embarrassment.

My friends had a reservation here for a party of 20. It was for a surprise birthday so time was of the essence. The made us wait 20 minutes past our reservation time before getting us seated. Because of that we had to skip on most of the birthday decorations. Fine, people were still eating and the restaurant can’t do much about that. Whatever. With that in mind, the service after was not great. They gave us one pitcher of water for the entire table throughout the entire night. The food was also very underwhelming and overpriced. Then at the end of the night, although only 15 of us had showed up, they overcharged us because we got the reservation number off, even though there was literally no more space for anyone else to be seated at the table! The manager literally said “i could have charged you more but I didn’t”. This is infuriating. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This was my first time eating out in 4 months after quarantine and OH MY WORD it was so good. I cannot believe I hadn't been before now.I was very happy with how they had the outdoor seating, all staff appropriately wore masks and were friendly. Fantastic.Food was also amazing. Got their lunch special, pick two... Caesar salad and chicken parmesan, $13 something. You cannot beat that price for the quality of the food. They also served little bread pockets as an app, similar to pizza crust and so yummy.Will definitely be going back.

Food is great but DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. I placed an order with my estimated delivery time of 7:25. It’s now 8:10 and still no food. When I called the restaurant I was told the driver is “in traffic”. I live in Irvington ONE town over, so clearly they need to hire new drivers because this is ridiculous. The gentleman on the phone was great and respectful but their delivery drivers suck!Edit: the driver was a 16 year old kid blasting music with his windows down. Got here at 8:20. Absolute joke.

Great lunch menu. Mind that the food is prepared at the time of ordering it, so the wait is a bit longer than most restaurants but the wait is worth every second of it.The chicken francese is delicious.

I order via phone for pick up from here almost everyday for my kids and the last 4 times there's an issue with my order when i pick it up. the last 2 times it happened the owner, Peter was present. His attitude stinks. the first time her literally approached me like, "what's the problem" as if he was mad I was annoyed. he was so rude I promised I would never go back, however he called an apologized; acknowledged the mistake and I decided to give them another chance. Today, there was another issue. I ordered at 1103am. I get there late at 1130 to pick up, and the cashier tells me the cook forgot to make the fries (after I paid), so I responded, " why does this always happen when I order?". Peter comes over and says here's the fries, what's the big deal he didn't see them , and calls me a sir (not sure if he was trying to be funny). meanwhile, he never looked for the fries he just asked the cook and the cook said he forgot the fries. Peter's customer service is really bad. People have the right to be annoyed when you're spending almost 5 dollars a slice and 20 dollars for salads and staff cant get the order right. All he had to do was apologize and keep it moving but his attitude just makes the situation worse. I will never be back to this place and will also make sure the agency I work doesn't order from her again. especially because I literally witnessed his staff saying they hate when they get orders from the childrens village in his shop one day. this food is alright but if you don't want to deal with people that act like you're bothering them when you have a complaint, don't go to Lombardos. NEVER AGAIN. I LITERALLY NEVER WRITE REVIEWS BUT IM SO UPSET. as i look through the other reviews, there is a trend because most people are saying service is bad and waiters and staff are rude and it lets me know im not bugging. this place is terrible. ARDSLEY CUCINA is the new spot. there food is absolutely amazing and they are so nice. go where you're welcomed, not tolerated!!!!

Was across the street from this restaurant purchasing a movie ticket, we had about 35 minutes before the movie was to start. Figured it would be a good amount of time to order food to go from this restaurant. Came in and went to the to go area. We were standing at the counter for about 5 minutes with questions about the to go menu. When we finally got the attention of someone. We asked a question about the difference of a plate that came in hero vs. entree form . The worker behind the counter said. He didn't know and to ask someone who worked there. Then walked away. This was confusing since he was in fact behind the counter wearing black. But figured he was a waiter and he meant to ask the to go people. It was also perplexing Why a waiter wouldn't know how to explain the menu . But nonetheless, we continued to wait another 5 minutes to finally get the "togo" staffs attention. Finally did. He explained the difference, then walked away mid sentence. So we waited some more standing at the counter when he eventually returned (since we positioned ourselves by the register) we put in our order. 1 meatball parm hero and a chx parm here. Fries with mozzarella cheese. In which he gave me a rude stare and said, "we don't do that." Which left me perplexed.. again!. They have fries on their menu. They Clearly have mozzarella cheese being a pizza place. So what's the issue. I responded and said. Well . Can you do that? He gave me another rude stare and clearly was annoyed as he proceeded to type in the order. Then, he mumbled "20 minutes" and walked away. Figured at this point we had about 20-25 minutes (trailers included) until the movie began, so I thought it should be fine. We ended up waiting 45 minutes until our simple order was finally ready, during which we decided to purchase drinks to go with our meal. We were standing at the counter when He handed the bag over. we tried purchasing the drinks, but of course, he ran off, ignoring us for another 5 minutes. Felt he did it out of spite as we were plainly standing there. Makes me wonder if the whole order was delayed out of spite. When he eventually came back to make the transaction, he continued in his rude way as if we were just there to bother him. Needless to say, we were very late for the movie. Really ridiculous to feel like the staff doesn't want to be asked questions and then to treat paying customers rudely while making them wait double the wait time they suggested for a simple order of sandwiches and fries. On top of that, the food was mediocre and bland. Don't go here if u have time constraints, you'll ultimately be late and treated badly. Should've just gone to Chipotle or chopt down the street. I'm Sure it would've been faster service with less attitude.
