This store stinks like old people diapers. It’s hard to shop the stench it’s so bad. I’m concerned that the quality of there produce and/or meat. Idk were the smell is coming from but I have been multiple times and it always smells awful. I’m concerned they might not be washing or cleaning regularly. Be advised. We will not be shopping here any longer. Smaller tops up the road runs a much cleaner ship

I never know which I'm actually commenting about... My script wasn't ready in "half an hour" (which is what I was told over the phone), nor anything close to 30 minutes... I was told upon arrival that they hadn't finished yet but that they were, asking for just 20 more minutes, "yeah of course," as would be my natural response.. . This wasn't where the issue lie.. So while I spent my time reorganizing a messy sweater rack, browsing Christmas sale items and learning oh so much about the world of retail... I watched the loss prevention team, asset protection (whatever they call it there), over an unfounded claim from 10-15 years ago... that caused my banishment from the only local food store ... for the rest of my life?!I appreciate tops pharmacy, and in general the store employees and managers. It's frustrating to see people whine about moving forward, from the past versus remaining stuck in (what is almost always) their negative past..I think I deserve amother chance considering the thousands of dollars I've spent at that specific location, alone.

I ordered premade meals. NEVER WAS ASKED IF I WANTED A REPLACEMENT FOR ANYTHING! 🤬 I only got a refund. A grieving family never got a full meal. The MAIN DISH WAS MISSING. And a child manager took NO ownership. Deferred and deflected to the Instacart employee. Apparently, no one is responsible.

Everything is always fresh and there is a large variety of choices. If you catch sales not too bad, but overall to expensive this day and age to shop there completely for all groceries and home supplies.

Been a customer here for 32 years, spent likely a 1/4 million here. This store, and maybe Tops overall represent what is wrong today and why----GREED! Yes we have had inflation but without a lengthy note most of your products are up in price 30-40%. Even while the impact of this pandemic eases, supply chain problems decrease, while most other adjust back not to, but towards where they were. Even your deli who sells coleslaw 2 years ago for 3.99, is now 5.99. That is a 50% increase.I will go out of my way to avoid your chain let alone this store. Greed............ shame on you.

This Tops is conveniently located near a number of other shopping options. The staff is helpful, the store is well maintained, and the produce is generally good. I took off 1 star because the beer selection is not always robust, but I can tell they are working on expanding their selection.

From someone who just recently discovered Tops in Derby I have to say that it has to be the nicest grocery store I’ve shopped in since moving to this area four years ago. I live in Hamburg and make the further drive to go to this Tops because it is so nice and clean and the employees are super friendly! It’s luxurious compared to Walmart which is where I usually go to do my grocery shopping! Haha!

Customer service person that worked Friday 7/29/2022 the closing shift was extremely rude. I can not understand why they let people like her interact with customers. On another note I love the buy one get one free sale tops runs. First they double the price and then they sell to at BOGO. Marketing must think people are bad in math.

Gas station cashier was very rude and ignorant of facts verse store policy. Some people just love abusing their power over others just because they can. I should have had my ID and I forgot it today.BUT(1) you are allowed to tell me the price of a pack of cigarettes even though I don't have ID. (2) it is not state law to ID for cigarettes. it is Tops STORE POLICY! (3) it is not against the law to ask somebody to buy me a pack of cigarettes if I am 60 and the other person is 21 and over. Tops hired a real Power hungry ignorant jerk.

Nice stock and assortment of different cultural cooking items (miso, jac fruit) but we left confused at checkout. Every register that was manned by an associate was "express," while the self checkouts are not the extended ones and can barely fit half a cart of groceries.

Great store as far as convenience and availability of organic. A little overpriced. A lot of false advertising on their part which leads you to wonder about integrity or authenticity. Some staff could smile or be a little more welcoming to public. After all, ultimately it is the customers that pay their wages.

Prices are substantially higher than previous months and I'm not sure if it's considered price gouging or the availability of the product. If Tops corporate is indeed taking advantage of the consumer, well then, Shame on them. The fact that alcohol seems to always be well stocked but other products are not being restocked seems quite odd. The way to profit and earn monies is with a good reputation .

What can you say, it's Tops... Happy that they have a pretty decent organic section for a small store. Convenient for quick trips to the supermarket, could use a little updating as it does not look too different from when it was Martin's a while back. Sometimes you get decent service at checkout, sometimes it's Meh....

The people in the bakery were extremely rude. I asked an employee why the Kaiser rolls were rock hard and when a fresh batch was coming out, and she said "that's what's put until their gone, and will soften up on the bag". There was another customer next to me and we both looked at each other in disbelief. It's Christmas, I have family over, and they will be consumed before they "sit in the bag". Tops makes me sick. I wish Wegmans would open out this way.

I give them one star cause their prices are higher than most stores! If u are doing a BOGO sale... Then keep the prices as is!! How is it almost $18.00 for two six pack bottles of Pepsi!? If it's buy 2 get 4 free??? They raise the price of the items they have as BOGO so you are still paying the same price!!!

A typical grocery store. Usually when I go in there the floors are usually filthy. It seems like everytime I come up to the checkout lane to cash out my food purchases they always tell me they just closed that lane. Usually rude about it too. Never have enough cashiers at the checkout Lanes. Always have to wait in long lines.

Good if you need to grab a few things. Decent sales prices but can be fairly expensive if the items you need aren't on sale.Seen a few bad experiences with flies in the stores baked good items so I dont recommend them....

It stinks so bad don’t go here it’s so bad u have to plug ur nose And get what u want and u have run out and it stinks so bad you have to plug ur nose and u can still smell it and this is the nastiest place ever it stinks like it hasn’t been washed it years .

1st I've shopped here in many months. Did it this time as they finally had a decent sale. They are average a $1.00 more on EVERY item compared to Walmart down the Rd !

Treats there employees dont give them full time when and tries doesn't pay there health insurance ny state does basically there taking about 7 800,000 dollars a week out this area. over cost the price of the food for what would cost u $400 there is only a $160 at aldies. Don't shop there.

Every time I go to this Tops, they are out of whatever it is I am going for. It never fails. No matter what time or what day, they always are out of at least one thing I am looking for. This is not my usual Tops, so I should know better by now.

Bought a fish fry and it wàs the worst I ever had. The fish and roll was hard. My dog wouldn't even eat it. It all ended in the trash.
