An awesome little diner. Gigantic delicious pancakes! Like 2 inches thick! Me and my husband got the country breakfast and shared 1 pancake (and still didn't finish the pancake lol)Fresh bread. Large biscuit with Gravy 😍.Very small town friendly atmosphere. The waiter was awesome with our 2 kids too. When I first arrived to area I look for places to create anchors to. I found all at Wrights are awesome. They were able to welcome this stranger, be friend him and consider myself lucky to be considered as family. The food is like you would get over the family table. Atmosphere is just as rich and enjoyable as the food! Thank you !!!!! Give it a try and I am sure you will say you agree!!!! I dine in to feel at home! Ohhhhh take advantage of homemade food gifts too!Kid-friendliness: I personally witnessed the people treat the kids as equal in importance to all. The staff really cares.

This place is wonderful! Swung through on my way to Clayton and couldn’t have been happier that I did. Food was delicious and home style. Nothing fake or rushed here. Excellent, polite service. Definitely stop in. I can’t wait to go back. You won’t regret it!

Hidden gem in Chaumont. Have passed it a million times into camp and spend a lot of time out here. Decided to try for breakfast and def not disappointed. The homemade bread was amazing and full of butter, which I loved when it got soft in the middle (yum). Huge omelette and home fries. I had to take some leftovers with me. Our server was delightful and talkative. It’s a small, busy place. We got there in time for a lull and it was delicious. I’m definitely going to try wings and prime rib. Outdoor seating adds some charm in the summer and space. Glad I tried it and will be back!!

Excellent little diner with very friendly and nice staff. Breakfast was excellent. Staff had extra goodies and where excellent with the kids. Will probably be a regular stop for us on our trips to the area. Looking forward to our next stop hopefully to try the jumbo wings.

You don't get food or friendly service like this anymore! Katie was friendly and helpful to us first-timers. But the star of the show was the delicious home-cooked food. Homemade bread and sausage gravy, generous portions of eggs and a lovely gift for us first-timers. This is why I love the north country!Vegetarian options: My sister had a huge veggie omelet.

I have passed this diner a hundred times and finally stopped. Now I'm there a lot. Don't judge a book by its cover--this place serves a superb prime rib. The sausage and their breads are homemade, and the sausage gravy is out of this world. It's small inside but the owners and all the wait staff have big hearts. Best diner I've been to in years!

I ordered the day’s special of Friday Haddock Dinner (which was fresh/never frozen) and it was absolutely fantastic! I got it broiled and the owner/chef was accommodating enough to make a “light” version for me while still keeping it flavorful. Her cole slaw was homemade and chopped fine (the way I like it) with just enough sweetness. It included a second side dish, too, of homemade Mac+Cheese. I’m not able to eat that so she kindly substituted steamed broccoli, which I really appreciated. The traditional Fried Haddock Dinner version is offered, of course, for those that prefer it (I’m sure she sells a ton of it; it looked delicious!) A good selection of homemade desserts posted on the daily board were very enticing.Their prices were great, the quality of the meal was high and the friendliness of the owner and servers was so refreshing and welcoming. An added bonus is that it’s also the sweetest, intimate space (eight tables total inside, I think, so no big crowds.) I’ll be back with my kids next time!

We found this dinner a few months age through friends. Th food is out of this world. The fresh haddock on Friday is melt in your mouth. The REAL treat is the prime rib on Saturday nights. The flavors and meat melt in your mouth. The homemade mashed potatoes are that-home made. Have referred numerous friends here and their experience have been the same. The staff is the friendly and always cheerful. Least we forget the pies-all homemade and delicious.Have no idea where the negative review people ate but it could not have been here. With over 30 of our friends eaten here over the past few months the raves are outstanding. Thank you to all at Wright- Glad we found you

A stop for breakfast provided a pleasant surprise in a delicious meat gravy on a homemade biscuit that was the best I have had in some time. The breakfast potatoes with onions were very good. The eggs were just fine. The owner and staff provided great service and fine family type conversation and banter. A definite choice to go back to.

Had a safe covid-19 experience. We had breakfast and everything was wonderful. I didn't like the sausage gravy so the waitress took it off our bill. She also was very attentive to our needs. We also enjoyed the conversation around the floor. Highly recommend this diner.👍👍👍😀

I had the best time here. The food is an amazing price and great portions and absolutely delicious. The staff were so friendly and funny as well. I will be back here often this just might be my new favorite place to eat.

Went there as party of 6. Waitress was prompt with getting our drink and food orders. Food came out quickly. Food was very good like home cooking. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.

Food was not as expected.There were only four customers when we arrived . Two others came in and got served before our order even came out. Approx 1/2 hour later. My grandson's chicken nuggets were over cooked and our two turkey club wraps were so dry you couldn't eat them. $35 later with an unearned tip, for that? we will not be returning.

We have eaten here many times. Food is great, if you go away hungry your not doing something right. Large portions. I like all the dishes I’ve tried. It’s clean. Good staff.

This is a basic and no frills place to get a great home cooked meal. I would strongly recommend this of you like basic and good food. Prices are very reasonable and the place is very clean. Wait staff are owners of the dinner and so friendly and great personal service.🤗🤗🤗

First time there from out of state. Very bad experience hair in my food. Waitress was very rude, seemed like she didn't want to do her job.. Took me asking to get a refill of water. Never socialized with us got 2 sandwich orders wrong.
