DON'T BOTHER GOING !!!! This place used to be awesome but has gone WAY WAY downhill. I was in the store the other day and the guy in charge freaked out on all the customers telling them all to calm down and that he wasn't even supposed to be open anymore. This would have been understandable if anyone was freaking out besides him , or if there were more than 5 customers in the store, or even if their website didn't say they were open until 5:00 pm and the door was locked, but sadly, that was not the case. They used to have a good inventory, but I think they just stopped caring, about customers for sure. The guy yelled at all of us like we were his children. I don't shop in stores that treat people that way and the guy is unstable. I won't be going back and suggest you don't either. Tractor supply sells the same stuff at a lower price anyway and you won't get screamed at by the management there!!

This place is great for all farm animals owners and animal lovers. And I absolutely love when they have baby goats for sale in April. Prices are more suited to a small brick and mortar but the environment, people are adorable animals make it well worth the trip.

Great place, great customer service! I just got my first chickens, and came here to browse supplies, feed, etc. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. They spent a long time educating me about what I need to know! I also found my dogs food (Fromms) for the same price I am paying online - definitely an unexpected bonus! Highly recommended store.

Hands down...we wish we could have given them 10 stars!!!! For the past few years, we've purchased everything from basic pet food to healthy baby chicks, and of course, supplies GALORE. The friendly and reliable family staff is extremely knowledgable, they offer great advice, informative seminars, and they will even load the car for your while your checking out! This family operated business makes it their duty to not only provide their customers with high quality supplies, but a positive and enjoyable shopping experience as well. Be sure to check out their seasonal goodies, fresh eggs, and adorable chicks of various breeds before leaving!

Love that this is a family run business the grandfather can be found there most days with the granddaughters. I have chickens and go there for anything I need. They are always helpful and will take the heavy bags of feed out to the car for me every time without even having to ask. They also sell some really cute novelty items in the store.

It's a nice, quick, growing family owned business. The Grandfather and Granddaughter are very nice and helpful people. The store is clean and they are always adding new items as well as gardening supplies, plants and pet specialty items. The downside is the parking is difficult, at best, it's off a busy road, only a few parking spaces and very difficult to get out of if you have a large vehicle and the prices are considerably higher than Shirley Feed or Agway in Riverhead. With all that said, it's a great convenience shop in my hometown when I don't have time to drive out to Riverhead.

So happy To have an agway dealer close to my house. The people are great and always get what you need. 5 stars! A great little farm store.In response to Eric C.These are not dishonest people. I know the hatchery they get their chickens shipped in from, I ordered my chicks from the same hatchery and I too had a problem with getting too many roosters. We all know the risk that we could get a rooster, sexing chickens is not %100. To call them dishonest is defamation and a false statement.

This was my 1st time shopping in the store. My boyfriend referred me to this place because they had good prices on some stuff. I have 2 Guinea pigs some of the food they need. The prices are decent. But the place seems a little disorganised because everything is all over the place. It's at a pretty good location. It's around the corner from my house. The staff seem to be very helpful and friendly. I also picked up a bag of hay from my Guinea pigs. For one bag it waz $5.

We stumbled on this place while looking for a bag of corn, and a simple errand that turned into a lovely experience. We not only found what we were looking for, we were expertly and helpfully assisted--and even given a tour of the chicken coop out back. Don't miss this part! Those hens provide fresh eggs that you can buy there also. It just made me feel really good to buy eggs from hens I had actually seen, who looked healthy and happy. Plus they have a gorgeous rooster and some pet turkeys. Even if you don't need anything for your farm, garden, or pets, it is a treat to stop in and see the little farm out back. And of course, to have your fresh eggs for breakfast the next day.

BAIT AND SWITCH. I purchased 15 EGG layers that were supposed to be 4-5 months old. Low and behold, next day I have 10 eggs, 7 of which were extra large. When I called the girl she changed their age 3 times during our conversation, finally settling on "well, they are under 1 year old". I wanted pullets, 16-18 weeks old, not yearlings. So, I have no idea how old my birds are.

Rude (husband) Had delivery of mulch one day wife charged no fee bc 2 blocks away, had another delivery set up next day husband charges fee rudely states thAt wife said that would occur if we had another delivery wasn’t true wife never said that had wife said this and no lies been suggested I would’ve considered accepting delivery. sadly wouldn’t use again this is why family owned businesses aren’t making the money corporates are due to lack of communication. ( not all family owned should’ve stayed that better)

Purchased chickens here against my better judgement. Drove along way to get there. Arrived and the chickens were picked at missing feathers so I still took some and figured with some protein the feathers would grow back. A couple days later noticed bloody stools and 5nof the chickens I bought died. Called and reported to them what had happened and still haven't heard anything back. Will never do business here again!

Dishonest people! I was looking for specific breed female chicks. Called in advance, they said they have that breed and chicks are sexed but instead sold straight run and all different breed chicks, not one chick of breed that I specifically asked for!!! + Half turned out to be roosters! What to do with roosters now? Not good way to do business. They lost me as a customer and I will spread the word.

If I can give no stars I would. I'll give one star for the older gentleman that sat there hopelessly wanting to help me. The younger female behind the counter totally ignored me. Not kidding, I waited about 5 minutes while she was on her cell phone talking. So I walked out. I'll never go there again. By the way, I have 3 dogs and 1 cat.

Great feed and supply store. We pick up our Vietnamese pot bellied pig and pet supplies there. The fresh eggs are good and sevice is very friendly and helpful.

Pet supply and feed beyond dog and cat. Farm animal livestock feed and supplies for pigs, goats, horses, chickens, ducks etc.... Affordable prices. Nice people. I recently paid 12.00 for a bag of timothy hay from Amazon. They sell a whole bail for 12.00.
