I called ahead and asked if they carried interior paint. I was told they do, when I got there that was not the case. They are a TRACTOR store, they may have tools and stuff but they are NOT a hardware store!

Went in to see if they still had hummingbird feeders. Was met at door by nicest male and female employees. Both directed me to aisle and later came to see if I found what I wanted. Store was clean and bright. Totally enjoyed this store and employees.

Mark was so helpful and kind in a real pinch that me and my wife were in. We were traveling from New York City to Buffalo and almost blew up a trailer tire, we had an 11,000 lb boat on top of. He came out helped us change it and made our night. All the employees seem very kind and professional, Mark was fantastic!!!

Stopped in for a few things I needed for my garden. As always, friendly staff sees to all our needs. Even helped get supplies out to the car. Service with a smile! That's a big deal in these times!

I ordered a riding lawnmower online only for it to be cancelled. The phone customer service informed me I would have to order it at the store. I was initially annoyed with the hassel of going to the store, but if I hadn't, I wouldn't have met Mark. Mark was very empathetic with my situation and even though he didn't have the lawnmower in stock, he was able to get it transferred from another store. I was able to purchase it today and will have it delivered tomorrow. Mark went above and beyond for me, turning around the disappointment I originally had with the online order. I will definitely be a repeat customer for Tractor Supply Company, all because of Mark and his outstanding customer service!

I stopped in the Dansville tractor supply to buy a county line 40 ton wood splitter, they were out of this one but the manager said she would order one for me she was very knowledgeable and helpful I felt like she was very happy to get the sale this means a lot nowadays as a lot of stores don't care about customers because of this we will give this location all our business employees like this are hard to find she is a great asset for TC to have employed by them

They have stopped carrying the 1" & 1¼ poly/pvc fittings for the black well/underground waterline. a plus side the shelf space has Been filled with clearance marked scented candles and melts that smell like chicken s××t

Needed dog food something fierce, and was 3 minutes from closing, and got it and browsed the winter gear right after to see the selection of gloves and hats and was there till 15 minutes after closing . They said nothing, wore a warm professional smile and asked if that was all and cashed me out. I would have been demonstrating the chainsaw if it were me

I called the Dansville Tractor Supply to purchase their last youth Kayak and while explaining I was driving over an hour to pick it up, Lori (spelling?) offered to drop the kayak off at another location 30 min away so that I wouldn't have to drive as far to pick it up. She did not have to offer this but did so out of the kindness of her heart. Thank you so much for going above and beyond, I really appreciate it!

I love this place. Okay, I have a garden tractor but that's as agricultural as I get. Carhartt clothes are great for working in the garden and they have seasonal-appropriate outdoor clothes as well. Nuts and bolts and tools and plow parts. Pet stuff. This is the BJs of pet stores. And best of all they are never out of "Catnip Fevor" cat treats that Tops and Wegmans are constantly out of. You don't have to be a farmer to go.

One of the managers helped me with my very finicky bulldog. He was incredibly helpful in recommending options that may work for him and even gave me a discount on a small bag to try. I really appreciate him going above and beyond.

I am not a farmer, but can find everything I need for my dog and the feral cats I'm feeding- catch, spay, neuter, release program. The prices are more reasonable. Very friendly staff, and if they don't have an answer to my question, they get someone who can.
