We went here for a weekend mini moon after our wedding ceremony and we were completely blown away. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for and needed. I loved it so much that I hesitated slightly to post a Google review for fear this hidden central New York State gem might blow up and we’ll have trouble booking return trips, because we will absolutely be coming back and would absolutely recommend without hesitation. You are simply transported into another world and time when you enter Scottland Yard.We rented the Peacock’s Perch. Like magic, the moment we arrived, a peacock was indeed perched outside our cabin’s second floor private patio area. Although we saw several more about the farm throughout our stay, we never did see one on our patio again. It might sound ridiculous, but it was as if he’d waited just to welcome us upon our arrival and then go back about his business.There are many other animal friends to enjoy, many outdoor seating areas, including hammocks! There is also a fantastic natural pool area complete with fountain, diving platforms, and friendly koi fish. Although we did not feed them, it was welcome and we enjoyed watching other guests do so.Our cabin was well stocked with the basic necessities for cooking, showering, and sleeping.If you’re considering staying here, seriously stop thinking about it and book. You absolutely will not regret it.

You can rest assured that your hosts Duane and Andrea, in fact every person involved in this family farm is 100% wanting everything to go smoothly for you. They would give you the shirt off their back. Stand up, honest, lovely people and you cannot beat the atmosphere. The decor really highlights the beauty of Gods creation and has you feeling like you’re in heaven itself. Swimming, tons of grass to run around, playground, huge comfy hall with the prettiest rustic decoration, fire pits, gift shop, and close to town. You cannot pass the chance to stay here up!! <3

Scottland Yard Farms was an oasis of pure relaxation. The hosts Andrea and Duane and their amazing family were welcoming and provided for our every need. The Glamping was a perfect mix of camping and pampering. Highly recommend this hideaway in the beautiful Fingers Lake region. Try it you will not be disappointed.

So sad the review period on Airbnb ended before I could post a review over there! Andrea and Duane were amazing hosts. Duane showed us around the property when we arrived and explained all the amenities. We actually ended up wanting to stick around instead of going out to explore Ithaca because of how peaceful and charming the setting was.The swimming pond and small beach area was by far my favorite part, followed closely by the hammocks in a grove of trees. We enjoyed feeding the birds and horses, and were even able to catch a glimpse of the bunnies when they came to nibble on the plants in the garden at breakfast.Our stay in the hobbit house itself (one of a number of cottages/glamping tents on the property) was cozy and the perfect vacation vibe. There is a patio to the side with fairy lights, a grill, and a fire pit. Inside, the house is stocked with board games, pool towels, and coffee essentials. The decor is cute and eclectic (and I love the nods to the peacocks that roam the grounds!)Overall a wonderful experience and I hope to stay at Scottland Yard again!

I lived here for almost 3 yrs. I had to leave NY and move to Memphis, TN. I. Am 68 yrs old and I can say that I have never lived anywhere in my whole life as magical and beautiful as Scottland Yard. We had all considered me to be “a lifer “ If I didn’t have to move I would still be waking up to Andrea in the main kitchen...Watson ( our Great Pyrenees ) coming into my room for a treat.Andrea and Duane have pure souls. They are givers and the greatest cheerleaders. They will help you with anything.The grounds and the houses are fantastic. I would look around at my surroundings and feel like I had just won the lottery.I miss and love them and all the kids and grand kids.They are wonderful story tellers. Every night we all gathered outside and If you are lucky enough to find yourself there ask Andrea to tell you the story about the kids “I Can’t Wanna”. I think it was Ben when he was very young. I say that to people all the time.“BUT I JUST CAN’T WANNA”Andrea and Duane.....I want to thank you for changing my life. I will forever be a better person because I know y’all. Love ❤️ to allhipchik

What an amazing experience! The ultimate glamping experience. You have horses in your backyard. Roosters and chickens at your door step. Goats freely roaming around. A main beautiful fully equipped kitchen. Showers. Several small shops on the property. We will definitely be back!

Cabin had NO WiFi and NO toilet. Porta potty outside was FULL to the brim. Porta potty had been emptied for a long time . Truly disgusting. Place was dusty and dirty.

We had a great pleasure to stay in Scottland Yard during the Cornell Graduation weekend on May 27-30, 2016.The property located only 12 min from Cornell and we did not have any traffic on the Saturday and Sunday mornings.We were renting whole second floor : a master bedroom, two bedrooms, kitchen, two full bathrooms, TV, WiFi... and a lot of other options are available.We had been surprised with full fridge the owner prepared for us: amazing coffee beans, milk, bagels, OJ, eggs (from their chickens – amazing taste!) and more. Kitchen had everything we were needed: spices, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, kitchenware, plates, cups etc.Farm is very beautiful. It has alpacas, chickens, sheep, pikoks, pond with koi fish. You can swim in the pond/pool as well. Bring your swimming suits. A lot of trees and open fields. Every morning I was enjoying the farm view and unique feelings created by surrounding us nature.But most important, the OWNERS - amazing hard working beautiful people! We enjoyed a dinner together, shared our life experiences and much more. We had a very good time (unfortunately no much time as we wanted).So, if somebody is looking for retreat from the big city crazy life, we highly recommend this place. I would love to go back for vacation some day just to spend more time with Andrea and Duane.THANK YOU again!!!!
