We love Marlene and her "crew" at The Inn at 28! This is like our home away from home when we visit our family two or more times a year. You won't find more friendly folks who make you feel welcomed and right at home! The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in, the food is divine! They even make special food for me and my son, accommodating our allergies. It is rare we can eat something I didn't prepare myself, such a Treat! If you are considering a trip to the area, you will not regret booking a stay here.

We stayed here for one night in Pa Ingalls room. We had been driving for 8 hrs and we’re so happy to see this lovely room, spotlessly clean in a home that has beautiful features of s home built 150 yrs ago. Cozy bathrobes, great smelling bath products, bowl of candy to greet us. The breakfast was excellent and kept us full all day. We loved our stay here!

3-2-23 While visiting family in Cuba , my sister and I spent the night at your Inn . What an AWESOME experience we had during our stay ! Everything was clean and nice , but our favorite part was meeting ,”Mike !” We laughed and laughed , and he really added to our stay . Communication with the owner Marlene was an added bonus as she was attentive to our booking . Awesome place to stay !

My family visited from Georgia for a family reunion and rented all 6 rooms for 5 nights. Marlene, and Denise went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met. We appreciated the attention to details, the cleanliness of the Inn, the comfortable beds, and the tasty breakfasts! We will definitely stay at The Inn at 28 whenever we are in town to visit family.Rooms: The rooms are beautiful and clean with comfortable beds and plenty of towels.Walkability: You can walk out the door of the Inn and take a short walk for coffee, shopping, pizza, ice cream. The neighborhood is lovely. We enjoyed walking around looking at the historic homes.

Owner Marlene, innkeeper Denise and handyman Mike truly care about this place, their guests and the town of Cuba. It shows from the spotless room, delicious breakfasts, and all the little creature comforts provided. 2 adults and a child stayed in the mountain lake room and we had tons of space to spread out for the week. If we’re ever back in Cuba, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.Walkability: Center of downtown - can walk to grocery, liquor, antique shops, food.

Our family stayed at the Inn at 28 over Memorial Day weekend occupying 4 different rooms for two nights. The rooms were all clean, the mattresses were firm, the room temperatures were comfortable and indiviudally controlled like in a modern hotel; yet the room furnishings were unique and charming, not cookie cutter. The common areas like the living room , the porch , and the dining room were all inviting, comfortable and classy. The breakfasts which included fruit, baked goods and fresh eggs cooked to order were amazing . Marlene and her staff made us all feel like we were part of her family not hotel guests. A memorable experience that is the very best one could ever expect from a B & B. We hope to be back again !!

The Inn at 28 is the BEST place to stay in the area, hands down. Every area and room are impeccably clean and organized, with high quality bedding, sheets, lotions and soaps. It’s very obvious that the owners take great pride in this place. I felt right at home from the moment I stepped in, thanks to the warm and inviting atmosphere and the really excellent staff. The breakfast is unbelievably good – fresh eggs (cooked to order!), fresh fruit, local produce and meats, hot coffee...I could go on and on, but really, it’s just the best and a great way to start the day. We even got a welcome snack (including fresh baked cookies!) when we checked in.The Inn is centrally located within walking distance to the Cuba Cheese Shoppe (worth a stop!) and the downtown area, and you also have easy access to the highway. There’s even a pub with great food and drinks right next door! I will be back for sure!

First ever stay at a bed and breakfast and this place was top notch. Some friends were also staying here and they have done B&Bs before and said this was in the top ten. Marlene was friendly. The breakfast was great. Rooms were very nice and the bed was super comfortable. Wi-Fi was reliable and fast. Thankful for the portable AC - it was a hot week.

This was our first family vacation since our kids were born. The room was fantastic! It was clean and in great condition, there was even a snack of crackers, cheese, and sausage out to greet us when we checked in.The bed was comfortable and the rest was peaceful. In the morning, Marlene had no problem accommodating the seven of us for breakfast on extremely short notice. She made a delicious breakfast, and after the meal was done she treated our kids like they were her own. Our oldest was allowed to draw decorations on the chalkboard with chalk markers, while our three year old was invited into the kitchen to help make make granola.Afterwards, she let the kids feed the chickens and they had a blast. Definitely a great place to stay and we will visit again. On more than one occasion the kids called it "home" and have complained that we had to leave.

The Inn at 28 is the best place I ever stayed at. So relaxing. Claire took really good care of us. Breakfast was awesome, home baked rolls, granola, fresh local fruit, sausage, eggs fresh from their hen house, and fresh hot coffee. The room was warm, beautiful in every detail, and perfectly clean. If you are anywhere near Cuba NY you should stay there, if not find an excuse to go there.

My husband and I loved this owner-operated B&B. The rooms charmed us. Everything was clean, clean; breakfast was delicious. They care about quality and about people, and it shows.Cuba is a historic town with a shady, flat 1.5 mile walk along the Genesee Valley Greenway.

We had a wonderful stay. Marlene was very gracious in the mornings with the best breakfasts. The room was excellent with each one having an ensuite. If you needed anything, she was only happy to assist.

My family gathered in Cuba for our mother's memorial service. We booked all five of the room of the Inn at 28. This bed and breakfast is exceptional. The decor, the graciousness of our hosts, The breakfast and evening snack, the comfort of the spacious rooms - all of it was everything we could have hoped for. There are so many thoughtful and loving touches throughout the property. I highly recommend the Inn at 28 for anyone who wants an idyllic visit to the beauty of small town western New York. As an added bonus, it is directly across the street from one of our favorite destinations - the Cuba Cheese Shoppe.

We had a great stay at the Inn at 28 during our roadtrip in the USA. The house is beautiful and the rooms are decorated in an old fashioned style (with original wallpaper from the 1850s!). Claire took very good care of us and our kids. Even insisting on rushing off to the store to get our son a delicious muffin for breakfast. If we are ever around again we will surely revisit!

The owners are very nice and the Inn is beautiful! Very clean and very relaxing. Whenever Green Mountain Paranormal Investigations happens to be in the area, this is the place that we choose.

We've had 2 opportunities in the recent past to stay at the Inn - March and May of 2018. What a lovely gem in southwestern NY state! Nicely appointed rooms, lovely and gracious innkeepers. They bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Pet friendly also, which was deeply appreciated when we returned for a funeral, as our pooch's healing love was sorely needed. They accommodate diets of all sorts with local offerings (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free all in one morning, and shared their recipe for the best vegan pancakes ever!) And you won't leave hungry, trust me. They helped make copies for some legal work, and mailed my forgotten boots to me with graciousness and a smile. We will definitely return - feel as though we've made new friends!

I rarely write reviews but this one is really worth it. My husband and I stumbled upon the Inn at 28 through Airbnb and, wow, what a stunning surprise we had!The Inn is located in a gorgeous historic house, with tall ceilings, hardwood floors, and an elegant staircase inviting you to the second floor. The place has been renovated with care, and it shows. Even the original wallpaper was restored by a local artist to restore it to its original glory. The staff and owners were amazing, the breakfast is plentiful, and the house is both comfortable yet delightfully elegant.Treat yourself to a stay at the Inn at 28 -I know we'll be back!

Claire goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. the rooms are all decorated very nice. We were here in December and I thought it would be cold and drafty being an older home but it was very nice and warm. an excellent place to stay.

So far the room is nice. Can't find anyone inside to ask questions. There are people sitting outside in the back but they have made no effort to speak to us or welcome us. Key and snacks were available as they said it would b.
