PJ and Erica and crew go way above and beyond to be sure you have what you need from their store -- and if they don't, they'll send you somewhere local that does have it. One day Erica gave a patron a couple of cups of laundry detergent from her own supply because the store was waiting on delivery. Their rental boats are in great shape and if you choose, PJ gives a great lake tour. The campsite is clean and welcoming. Morning coffee with the locals is great!

My family has a cabin on the lake we've been going to for 60 years and those of us without boats have always used the taxi service available at the time. We were very excited to see the new management and service offerings from Birch's over the off season.Last weekend we went up to open and had motor trouble that would have canceled the trip. We saw people working on the new docks behind the store and went over to get advice on where we could get help. Turns out it was the new owner and he kindly offered to put their taxi boat in the water and have us be their first trip and drive us over! Very great guy. Putting lots of work into the new store and the new service offerings. Can't wait to see it when we go up next and everything is done. Looking forward to working with them for years!

We have always been grateful to have this store operating on the lake, and we are now especially thrilled with what the new owners are doing with it. From personal experience, I can recommend their boat rentals, water, taxi, service, and general supplies and necessities. They are great folks, and it’s been a pleasure to work with them so far this season. I’m sure you will have a similarly positive experience, and, like me, want to support them in being successful to remain an outstanding resource on the lake!
