Store is decent. You can definitely find some cute knick knacks or discount products. I generally stop here for paper products in a pinch or cleaning supplies. The store could definitely use some cleaning and organizing as well as clearing the aisle of boxes and rolling stock carts. I seem to always have to move them out of the way. They offer digital coupons on their site and usually have some good deals. Overall, I prefer it over family dollar right down the road.

Connor is so punny and a really great associate! However, the manager there was rushing him, being rude to him. I believe her name was Ashley. Definitely need new management. Would of gave five stars if Ashley wasn’t a jerk:)

Friendly smiles, questions answered and when they didn't have the products they always told us when they would get more if they knew. Convenient location off Rt 9W. Get your soda, water, PP,PT,TP sanitizer, bleach, Dawn, Tide, Pet food, cereal, coffee, and snacks all right here! In and out in less then 20 mins

It's a Dollar General Store. But most of the employees are very nice and helpful. Most of the store is not handicapped friendly. Isles are always blocked. Dangerously so.

The new Dollar General in Athens is AWESOME!!! Very clean, the set up is terrific and super friendly customer associates!!! My new favorite, and just down the road from me!!

31 dollars for barely anything. For a dollar store that is ridiculous. I've spend 20 other places and have gotten way more things are way to over priced. I paid more for a 20oz bottle of soda than I did for a 2 liter.

It was clean but when I asked about a couple of items I had the cashier wouksnt scan them and told me there were no sales I in fact knew they were pennied items because they were grey dots and she was 3 extremmely rude

I haven't been in the store in months. I went there tonight and I was so disappointed. I have never seen the store so dirty and stuff all over the floors. I had to stop myself from cleaning it up. Sad just Sad

Very unorganized. Manager doesn't work well under stress lmao. Wanted to refill an American express serve card and no one could find the scan card for it. Manager gave the cashier an unnecessary attitude when it wasn't her fault. Really unprofessional.

I like that the prices are generally better than other stores. Sometimes you can even find brand name soaps,etc. for a dollar! It is also conveniently located near to my home.

Thw place was filthy.. They had product everywhere.. The store was so disorganized and a mess... Couldnt walk through the aisles without. Stepping on anything.

Always run to dollar general for odds and ends, can normally find some pretty good deals. But there always seems to be a long line to wait in with only one cashier.

I like that Dollar General is located right in my neighborhood. It saves me a 10 mile trip to larger stores just to pick up a couple items.

It's a dollar store, it's cramped because it's small, but the staff is awesome. I wish they had more selection, but they would really need a bigger space.

Actually it doesn't deserve a star. Place is full of merchandise on the floor and all over. Understaffed and poor management. Can't walk through or around the isles.

People that work here are rude . Store is always a hazard with boxes blocking view of items and push carts almost running you over .
