Fairly priced and wide selection for what it is, which is a store that sits somewhere between the usual home center big box stores and smaller True Value. Great for running in and out if you know what you're going to get. Staff has always been helpful.The plaza that this store sits in badly needs a facelift, but that's not the store's fault. Just don't be fooled by the appearance of the building.

Always have the items I'm looking for. Parking is always available. I really like that Value Home Center sends coupons. You are always greeted by customer service representatives.

It would have be been professional if one of them group of employees grouped around the cash register had offered to help me. They did seem busy with their gossiping and trash talking Cortland and I didn't feel comfortable interrupting. When I left, the manager ?(I'm not sure exactly what his position was) couldn't believe I didn't find anything and felt the need to follow me out the door for whatever reason. I wish he had put that much interest when I was trying to find and buy something in his store.

Their selection was limited, no delivery on big items unless through a 3rd party. Staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. Store had an unpleasant odor. I doubt I'll return, Lowe's and Big Lots have been better choices imo.

Don B. the store manager is amazing. He's so helpful. He helped us tie down the plywood on our car because it didn't fit in the cargo area.The staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly too.

This is a great little store. If I can shop here for home improvement basics over Lowe's I will. They have a great selection of merchandise, often surprising me with the things they have in stock. Good prices, friendly service, it's all good.

Always helpful and can find things here I can't find anywhere else!Love the Dutch Boy paint! Great coverage, durable, wipeable, reasonable price and it comes in a plastic container ! No rust here with Dutch Boy paint container!So glad we have a Valu Home Center in Cortland.

It's nothing very fancy it's basically just like a true value. They have more specific things and unique items needed for home repair and customization in comparison to Lowes.
