Good staff. Good prices. That being said... the owner did hive me miss information about the animals for sale there. Plz before buying any animal.. look up their needs!!!!! These are pics of my baby basilisk i got there. Did have to go to the vet for mouth rot so beware of that.

Our first time in their store today and it was a great experience. Super helpful staff and they had just what we were looking for. We also greatly appreciated their mask wearing mandates in the store. My son who has pre-existing conditions would not have been able to go in otherwise. We will definitely visit again for our pet needs.

I love this store.Small pet shop.So retro.Some items in the store are actually from the 1980s.The critters and fish are healthy and the store is clean.A good variety of tropical fish and some goldfish.A nice small selection of dog clothing and some very nice sweaters and coats you sure won't find at the box stores.

This place is my go to spot for our 11 year Albino Corn Snake Miss Kernel. I purchased her/him (we say her but really don't know for sure) as present for my son for his 8th birthday. We got her mice there for quite some time. I ended up working in Ithaca and started getting mice close to there. The other place really struggled with keeping up their supply of live mice. I was really happy to find that Pet-a-Plenty was still in business when I started working in Cortland. They always have what we need and they have excellent customer service. Thet have great relationships ships with their suppliers. P.S. the rabbits the have for pets are always so calm and great for kids just so you know.P.S.S. Janelle is a superstar. Very helpful with outstanding follow through.

I bought a beautiful blue Love bird today. He is very healthy and all the animals there were taken care of :) I would definitely recommend you go here before anywhere else! Very nice and helpful too!!

Family friendly local pet shop owner. Mike is amazing animals are always the best. I've been going to pets a plenty since I was a kid. Great price on everything and he is very very knowledgeable. He can even order you in animals if he doesnt have them.

I love going to pets of plenty for all my animal needs. At least I know that all of the animals there are well taken care of. If I have a question... They are always there to help. I love it that they know me by name. Also they have order stuff for me that they do not have in the store. They are the best.

Best pet store around! Came up all the way from Binghamton as none of the pet stores in my area had any healthy gerbils and bought one very lively gerbil from a very kind lady here back about a year ago now. Definitely recommended, place seemed clean and the animals seemed very healthy, thanks again!

You have to give this place a chance. Once you walk in it looks dirty and smells bad. Makes you want to turn and walk out. However, their fish aisles are full of all different kinds and enjoyable to look at it. They have birds, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, lizards, and fish. The store is very outdated. If they cleaned up and remodeled, they would get more business.

It's not much of a store the few animals that were there I wouldn't even consider buying and my daughter was gonna buy some hamster treats and was waiting for about 5-8 minutes with still no one came to ring her out so we said the hell with it and left

The lady that was there was very pleasant and informative and my unknowledgeable questions did not seem to bother her at all.she was willing to take the time with me and my daughters to get them the patch that they wanted and would work best for them. I'm looking forward to going back to get a parakeet my other daughter wants

I bought 4 fish there yesterday and all 4 have died I should of known because everyone said not to buy fish from them but I figured I give them a chance now let's see if they will give a refund or what 🤔

Nice place people are friendly it's clean nice inventory they need more fish though lol . you never can have too many fish .I would suggest if you're in the area to visit them.

Wonderful I get all of my pets here also the rabbits,hamsters,guinea pigs etc. the hamster are very friendly and all there animals also are friendly.the people are very nice and and friendly who own the pet store u can also order ferrets and orther animals and u can get Grate animal package deals I LOVE THIS PET STORE IT IS MY FAVORITE 🐹🐰🐭

The fish at Pets A Plenty are always very healthy. At other aquarium stores (including the big ones like PetSmart), I've often had to quarantine new fish, or I've seen fish with obvious diseases in the tanks. The owner of Pets A Plenty is very professional in the selection and keeping of fish.
