First time visit--A very clean store with friendly employees. I bought some potato salad in the deli; yikes! This needs help. At home, I doctored the salad up in order to eat it. It tasted like potatoes, sugar, and mayo mixed together. Have the cooks ever heard of paprika, or celery?

Understaffed store, right before thanksgiving holiday, two folks working the deli area. Incredible slow. One only making subs and serving customers that came long after I did to the counter, the other worker cleaning pans and trays and offering no assistance. Never acknowledged anyone at the deli itself. Several customers came up and waited behind me and said the hell with it and left. Finally i spoke out loud and asked is anyone working the deli, and got blank stares. The worker in the bakery just shook her head as she watched it go on. I left not buying a thing from them. Total lack of service during holiday season.

The store is older, but the staff is friendly. They don't have tons of stuff, but it's great for meats. The bakery is also really good. One of the last places to get Persian donuts too!

Their donuts use to be the best in town! I don't know if someone different is making them or what changed. They are skimping on toppings and the quality went way down hill. The sourcream donuts used to be so good. Will not be buying donuts from P&C again. I'll take my business to price chopper.

I prefer to not come here despite the convenience for me, all things considered. Certain things are very expensive when compared to others (for example: dog food is at least $5 more for the same bag when compared to Tops or Price Chopper).Somewhat limited selection of food when compared to other similar stores.I give a lot of the staff credit though; a lot of shoppers are not pleasant here but the staff do the best they can. Walmart brings out the worst behaviors in people, but here, they're really miserable

Everything is double the cost of a normal store I drove here from Binghamton for a Sunday trip I couldn't believe how expensive everything was everything cost at least like 6-8 $ an item horrible rip off of a company

Very clean and neat store. Love all the shelves were so well stocked. Just a few items were a bit more expensive than other store's. Not too crowded and all the aisles were open with no clutter or obstacles.

Store does not look very clean when you first walk in, it is always cold in here, and their prices compared to other grocery stores in the area are rather high. This store does well with its location, but I believe they would do even better if they offered bonus cards and better prices on their items. It’s truly a grocery store for folk who don’t care how much they spend on groceries. If anything their donuts are fresh and tasty. Only reason I go.

It'll do in a pinch, but I wouldn't do my primary shopping here. It's conveniently located near the highway, so when I stop once in a while on my way in or out of Cortland. The store is a bit dated. Prices are on the high side and the selection is limited. No self-checkout, which is a downer for me.On the positive side, the staff have always been courteous and the store is usually clean.

** WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DONUTS ? THEY USED TO BE THE BEST.....Clean and well organized. Staff and management are familiar and have been there for years. Subs, pizza, rotisserie chickens, salads, so much to offer.

so sad they have a $600 limit to cashing checks for cash now. They won't cash it even if it's over $1 (they take the $1 away anyways!). pointless to come here for checks and grand union doesn't have the option available right now.

One of my favorite places to shop locally due to their excellent varieties offered at a reasonable price. Personal favorites include Boar's Head in the deli, marinated spiedies from the meat department, coconut/pb/raspberry dessert parfaits from the bakery and the made to order subs! Low traffic allows for a calm and quick shop. They are the only option on the north side of town, and their hours of operation allow for most last minute items

I ran in to get a snack. Got a bowel of fresh fruit. It was good quality and a little pricey but in line with other stores. Gave it four stars only because I had no time to check out the rest of the store. I did like what I saw and will go back next time I am in the area.

Always a treat whenever in town. Their donuts definitely are the best in the land & the bakery Dept has consistently delivered high quality products since I first went there in 1994. Don't be surprised to find a line up in morning on the weekend for these gems.
