My twin sister & I went into the store a couple of days ago looking for help on how to properly work with the tension on our embroidery machine. Let me tell you, Kevin was a GREAT help. He had answers to all of our questions & took a look at our machine for us! We left feeling confident & satisfied with the help we received!

I practically live here! It's our only local craft store and I've been going here since I was a little kid! The staff is great and the seasonal decor is always fabulous. Always have coupons and sales going.

It was wonderful!! Shopped on line, had a great coupon, went to pickup, called and they delivered to my trunk. The lady was so happy and nice! I would recommend this store to everyone!!!

Terrible customer service. Extremely hostile and discriminatory. MASK MANDATE IS NOT A LAW. Medical exemptions are not even considered. Don't worry - Walmart allows me to shop freely and they will put this tiny store out of business. I can buy all I need at Walmart!

Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s nice to have the store in town. Word to the wise: avoid Teresa. She’s the meanest. Her presence in the store justifies the trip to the Ithaca Joann’s.

TERRIBLE SERVICE: Looked around for a good 20 mins with no service (not that I needed it) finally found something that I thought fit my needs-their wood crafting selection was worse than walmarts-and I had to go search for an associate, walk all the way to the back of the store interrupt two employees talking too much to notice customers and say "I'm ready to check out now." The employee rudley answers me "theres a button up there for assistance" I walk back to the counter and see the button the time shoved all the way at the end if the counter behind fliers. She finally comes up to the counter and makes sure to point it out "see" she rings up my item "is that all?" I say I have a coupon, she tries to scan it saying "That coupon won't work because this is on sale!" "Well it's on clearance items..." "This isn't clearance it's on sale!" The coupon didn't work and I had to Ask what the price would be then instead of her telling me a total. $17 for a wooden box after 30 % off, ridiculous. I walked right out.

FYI: Disappointed that I couldn't use the coupons I had received, the day before via text. Also, I have had 2 heart attacks, wearing a mask depletes my oxygen levels; so periodically I scoot the mask down under my nose; take some breaths and put the mask back up. One of your young associates called out to me , at about 45' away ( as I entered the store), "to please wear your mask." I felt that it was slightly a spectical and rude; I WAS wearing a mask, just trying to breathe normally a couple of times. I walked to the girl, trying to quietly explain about having 2 heart attacks, etc., but she dismissed me with, "oh, I know, I have asthma." Really? I almost died twice and she likens it to asthma? Wow.

Quick trip in this time, but other times, I can spend an hour, at least hitting the aisles. A great variety of everything for crafting, and I love the clearance

They never stock up on yarns, everytime I go there to get yarn I need they dont have it or carry it but Joanne's in ithaca always have them I would have to drive out to Ithaca it's quite a distance from cortland and we have Joanne's in cortland they either need to stock up or close down or change the name bc they are nothing like Joanne's they are making Joanne's look bad

My first time at this location. Not familiar with the area so finding the store in a strip mall behind McDonald's wasn't easy.Older store model medium sized layout. Just glad to have this location available in the area to pick up batting for a project I was dropping off to be quilted in Preble. This was the only Jo-Ann Fabrics on my 2 hour ride from Palmyra to Preble now that Auburn is closed and Canandaigua would have been out of my way and not open at the time I left home.

The address of this store equals nowhere. I came from out of town and there was not a Joanne Fabrics in sight at the location in McGraw it took me too. I had to get back on I81 North for 2 miles to get off of exit 11then I found Joanne's in a plaza behind McDonalds. Please correct this. THANKS!😁

I would like to compliment this JoAnn Fabric Store.I found fabric I wanted, but there was not enough.The ladies went out of their way to search for thisitem in nearby stores. They even checked the warehouse.They found the fabric in a nearby store and helped me orderit. It came by mail in a few days. Thanks so much ladies.

Totally disappointed with Joann Fabrics store in Cortland! I am making 13 knot blankets for great grandkids!Spent well over $200 and had to have 4 fabrics recut because they did them wrong. And took another one to New Hartford to return as this was cut wrong also. (It was purchased in Cortland). Have 3 more to complete and laid another out and yep, cut wrong! 2 inch difference! So upset with the Cortland store! And now I just found a HOLE in the fabric!!! Ridiculous!!! Laid the last one out and guess what? CUT WRONG!!! Do they not understand when making knot blankets the 2 sides need to be the same size????

With This Ithaca Location I wasVERY disappointed in the painting section and the aisles were narrow and cluttered along with the paints/supplies being high priced also the 3 female cashiers were NOT friendly or helpfull at all.Won't be going back to this JoAnn Fabrics location !

The service is great and the prices are pretty good, they have sales a lot where you can snag stuff for really cheap with coupons and stuff. I love their selection of fabric too.
