My boyfriend and I were in town for a concert and found this place and decided to stop in to kill some time. This place is amazing! So reasonably priced with tasty drinks and the BEST slushies. Would recommend this place to anyone. The staff and owner were also beyond pleasant !!!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? I travel for work and get to visit many towns. Cortland has surprised me more than most. For its reputation I think it's a great area. CBC I happened to wander into two nights. Each night, I was greeted with a smile and got a delicious beer. And to my surprise, both times there was live music. Local NY bands! I love catching shows like this. Highly recommend!

Another out of tower passing through...a nice & pleasant place to stop, very inviting...Nice selection of their own Crraft beers, Wine, Vodka and Cider.Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable.Wide variety of merchandise & growlers.Beer hot dogs, Chips . Cheese & Pepperoni for light fare.

Awesome brewery! Lots of beer choices! Pale ales, IPAs, stouts, pilsners etc! If you can’t find a beer you like, you’re the problem. Friendly staff.

A great place to have a Beer or cocktail or in my case both. Their craft beer & spirits are both top notch. The spirits they distill are vodka,gin a gin finished in whiskey barrel and malted barley whiskey triple distilled much like an Irish whisky. In about 2 years they will have a bourbon ready. They have a beer for every tast & if Beer or spirits aren't your thing they also have a number of local wines available 😊 and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Cheers 🍻

Absolutely awesome beer, seltzer, and the vodka lemonade is fresh squeezed! The owners are great as well and a riot to talk to! Live music most days, make sure to check it out when Greg mcquade is playing

I wish I could give a 4.5. We arrived around 8:30PM on a Tuesday and got there at the perfect time between trivia night refills. The bartender was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. We put in our food order and it was brought out so fast - the person was even kind enough to split our one sub/fry order into two platters for us. All of the beer we tried in our flight was good, too!

I was pleasantly surprised at how not bad the beers were- I’m pretty critical on brews but compared to more well known spots like Meiers Creek and 1911, their brewer here is much better. The Black Widow Stout is a good one. The guy bartending was really cool- definitely worth a stop!

Nice place, got here on a monday, quiet, but understandable, good beer, good variety, nice bartender Vinny. Helpful for me to learn the area, as my daughter starts school here. Can definitely see the potential for this place to be a good time on a weekend. Recommend a visit!

Absolutely love their beer! They also make a great (smooth) vodka and bourbon! Fantastic music Thursday through Saturday! Always find great blues and rock and roll at this bar!In the summer enjoy fire pits and music on weekends outside! The owners are engaging and always friendly. Fun place to hang out!

Absolutely amazing brewery and distillery! We tried their Bloody Mary and a few beers. We ended up leaving with 3 of the beers we tried and we will be back for their vodka and more beer! Do yourself a favor and visit here!

My friend was a bartender at CBC and loved his job. I got to meet the owner and his wife a few times and they were lovely people who loved connecting with people over a drink.The outside patio has fire pits that are great when it is a little colder in Cortland and the inside is great for hosting all kinds of big events.It definitely has a more "mature feel" to it seeing that it is a Brewery. I think that the older students at Cortland and residents really appreciate that. It's a social spot to hangout before a long night out on the town. I always love going here.

Great place! Laid back atmosphere, and dog friendly! Our server was great... and patient with us while we decided, helpful in answering our questions! They offer at least a handful of their own brews, plus several guest taps, and even some wines, so lots to choose from! We had a flight and a point of cider. CBC's stuff was all great, with crisp, clean finishes.

We were looking for a dog friendly place to go on a Friday night and absolutely loved it here. The staff was so friendly. They kept asking us if our pup was good on water, and treated us like family. The live music was an added bonus. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Fine atmosphere and friendly staff, but unfortunately the beer was just not good. I had a (reasonably priced) flight, and every beer tasted either heavy crystal malt flavor or oxidized.

We stopped in while traveling up I81. The server (owner?) wasn't deliberately trying to be rude but he sure knows how to make people feel like they are idiots. We looked at the beer list stuck to the bar and he walks up and bellows "don't look at that, look at the board". No "hello folks" etc. When we tried to ask questions about the beers that were artistically (illegibly) written on the board, every time he answered like we were dolts. We left without getting anything. No wonder the place was all but empty at 4 on a Saturday afternoon - 1 couple inside and 1 outside.We stopped at the newest brewery in Geneva instead. The staff were friendly and helpful. Guess what? That place had 40 to 50 people. Maybe there is value in customer service.

Out-of-towner here, had a blast! Really great place! First off, the beer was VERY good. There were a few hilarious characters about. There was a "paint and sip" thing happening in the adjacent space. There were 2 for 1 drafts, which made trying everything a very inexpensive endeavor. And I was welcomed into conversation with other patrons. You really couldn't ask for much more in a bar.

A must stop when we come through Cortland from now on! The beer was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We really enjoyed the live jazz band that was playing as well!

Nice selections of many styles that change often and have the standards. They have a couple non-IPA / non-bitter beers as well as a really nice cider and their own vodkas and whiskey. Friendly bartenders and didn't seem to draw a college crowd.

Sad to see it become a frat party this year. Can never go for a good relaxing night out, over run with college students. Haven’t had my ID checked and assuming the underage college students haven’t either. No compliance with social distancing or max capacity whatsoever. Has quite literally become a house party venue.
