Im not the type of person to go and write a bad review usually, usually wouldnt even waste my time, but the expirience i have had with this pet store is HORRIBLE. talk about chaos, confusion, devistation, and dissapointment. I had visited this pet store about 2 weeks ago, and i came across a kitten that i fell inlove with.. the kitten had my heart since the first time i took him into the play rooms they have, they first had told me "the kittens will be ready to go home on friday" so i came back on friday and i was told by one of the care takers "the kitten can go home sunday" than i had talked to the woman at the front desk and she said "the kitten will be ready to go home tuesday" so with all the excuses i gave up, i didnt want to purchase from their store. After about a week I was on my way home from work on night and i said to myself "I really want that kitten" so i went there and i was helped by the girl at the front desk and she had told me that the kitten was 75$ and later on that night i came back to pick the cat up and paying 130$ for an adopted kitten that WASNT NUTERED/SPAYED.. and i also payed for a microchip that wasnt even registered. They failed to tell me i had to register it, as a matter of fact it was never even mentioned. I braught the kitten home .. loved it, slept with it, played with it, fed it, than 3 nights after i got it i came home and it was not moving.. I rushed it to the animal hospital and it was INFESTED with flees, it was hypoglycemic and had flea anemia.. I called the pet store , they tell me at first " we can only refund you 25$ because the actual kitten only cost 25" so i argue that ofcourse, I wind up paying a 366$ vet bill, only to find my kitten dead the next morning. I brought it back to the pet store, i had to make a scene just to get my money back. As im talking to one of the girls over the phone, she sounded like she just woke up, and had no care in the world.. she told me that i needed to get a letter from my vet because her vets werent legal, there for they couldnt write me a letter. Come to find out , Jenna had thought she was talking to a " Mentally disabled " customer who had purchased a different kitten , the whole 3 days i was on and off the phone with her. Jennas sister had told me " Im sorry but my sister was confused this whole time she thought she was dealing with someone else, she thought it was a mentally disabled girl so she felt bad and thats why she told you she was gonna give you your money back " As far as im concerned they have no idea what they are doing over there. NOT TO MENTION, the owner of the store, can never be found and when i did speak to him, HE HAD NO IDEA ABOUT ANY LEGAL POLICIES. as i was arguing with him, his own employee was confronting him, that I was right. He had no idea about was he is held accountable for. Now im going back today with a letter of unfit for sale from my vet, to fight for them to refund me my 366$ for my vet bill. They also sold me a kitten 5-6 weeks old and told me it was 8-9 weeks... they are such an unhealthy pet store and they should be shut down.. The east end vet i braught my kitten too said they always have to handle their animals.. because they are always selling sick animals, ALSO the " 24 hour emergency animal hospital " they gave me a number too, was no help when my kitten was dying and i tryed calling it and its a NON WORKING NUMBER. This place needs to be shut down. ASAP

I wish I could give this place "0" stars. I bought my furbaby at this store a few years ago. When I walked in she was lethargic and clearly very sick. I knew that I had to buy her that day because she didn't look like she could make the weekend. I went home with her the next day after their "vet" came to check her out. He gave her a clean bill of health (HA!) and said that he was a doctor on the package you get when buying a dog and that I could go to their office and get her check ups done for free for a year. I made two appointments... one with him and one with my own vet whom I trust implicitly. The store's doctor again gave her a clear bill of health. My vet told me that she had: Kennel cough, fleas, some kind of eye infection, an upper respiratory infection, both ears were infected, etc. I didn't need my vet to tell me that she was clearly not being taken care of AT ALL.After a month of constant vet visits, she was very healthy and happy. I am glad that I got her when I did and she is now the best dog I've ever had.I decided to write this today because she is going in for surgery today at our vet for a hernia and they asked me if she had a chip to which i replied yes... well turns out I paid Peebles HUNDREDS for a microchip and guess what? THEY NEVER PUT IT IN. Don't be fooled.. these people change the name of the shop every so often.JUST DON'T GO TO 3669 NY-112 CORAM NY 11727!!!!

If there are any good reviews please believe me it is be written by their staff in hopes you are stupid enough to believe them...do your research people this place has a million complaints. As well as look above at a response the staff gave to a woman about her kitten passing ,how heartless. She received her refund so what the kitten died is basically what they are saying. There is a reason they have changed their name continuously .They are the same people with a different name. One of them wrote extremely helpful ,ha. Every salesman is helpful until they sale you something then you get their real face when you call saying you have issues, complaints or the pet is dying or has died. I all I can say is do you research before going to this place .If you are looking for a new addition there is a great place in Huntington and another in Riverhead ..try them first to see how a pet store should be ran. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE ,VISIT SEVERAL REVIEW SITES, DONT BUY FROM HERE UNTIL YOU READ THE REVIEWS AND ARE WILLING TO TAKE THE CHANCE!!!

Don't go inside here. You can't save these dogs. This place should be shut down. Dogs get too little food, saw one dog eating another dog's poop it was so hungry. Giving the dogs less food helps keep them smaller so they can lie about there age and up the price. Almost every dog was skin and bones. Dogs in the way back seemed sick and withdrawn. Staff could not care less. Dogs are given no attention. Owner should be in jail.

Hey, don't be slamming my store! First off, it was just a kitten which we offered to replace with another kitten. Secondly, it was as much your fault as it was ours! Animals get sick, just like people. & we gave you a full refund so I don't understand why are still complaining.

The first thing that hits you when you walk into this store is the smell of dog urine. The dogs are mostly lethargic and although I am not an animal lover, I felt bad for them. There was a dead mouse that had obviously expired some time ago in the cage in the back. I hope I am wrong but it does not seem like the animals are being well taken care of at this shop :/

this place is a joke!! Every puppy comes from a puppymill "commercial" breeder. they tell you all puppies come from a licensed breeder well only commercial breeders need to be licensed. if you have more than 25 breeding dogs you must be licensed. that is a puppymill. there is no way to reach the breeders even for them they dont deal direct with breeders they only deal with brokers. the puppies cost as low as $45 and go up to $200-300 each. they then charge 1200+ for these puppies. every puppy will go home with giardia which is caused by drinking contaminated water the water in the store may be clean but not from their "breeders". you may never have 1 issue with your puppy/dog but you are lucky others were not so lucky.
