I went to pick up a script on a Tuesday and was told the system was down. I go again Friday to see the drive up closed and when I called, no answer. I ended up calling front store who claimed it was because the pharmacy was backed up. There’s always a long wait at this store. But I will say, as a former CVS pharmacy tech, I can’t blame the employees entirely because I wouldn’t doubt if CVS is still severely underpaying their techs to the point of high turnover and causing the staffing issue that plagues this store. Maybe one day corporate will actually treat employees and patients better.

On December 27, 2023, between 12:30 and 12:42 pm, I had an appalling experience at CVS (Pharmacy #3100) , specifically with an employee named Amy ( older lady, white hair,stocky wearing a blue sweater). Not only was her behavior rude and disgraceful, but it escalated to the point where she violently slammed the medicine cart into my car, causing damage (small scratch). Despite presenting a valid photo government ID (Global Entry ID & Another Photo id), I was shockingly denied service under the pretext of not having a driver's license.Amy's treatment left me feeling like a criminal or a drug addict, which is entirely unjustified given my professional demeanor. While I appreciate the manager's intervention although he walked away in the middle of our conversation (after handing me my medication), my subsequent interaction with Amy was nothing short of shocking. When I requested her last name for a formal complaint, she responded with vulgar language, refusing to provide the information.(Btw I didnt get a receipt so I wouldn’t be able to identify the employee. “Amy” is the name she gave me. I’m not sure if thats her real given name.)To compound the situation, a second employee joined in (dirty blond/brunette shoulder length hair, nude sweatshirt stocky) , verbally attacking and threatening me. The unprofessionalism displayed by both Amy and the second employee is absolutely unacceptable. The racial undertones and belittling behavior further tarnish CVS's reputation. This experience has deeply upset me, and I am committed to contacting CVS corporate and other relevant parties to ensure that such behavior is addressed promptly and thoroughly. This level of disrespect and mistreatment has no place in any professional establishment.Furthermore, in the end, I found myself fed up with the second employee who joined in the attack. We had an exchange of unpleasant words as I expressed my frustration and questioned why she came to be rude when I was already dealing with a distressing situation involving another employee. This incident only added to the overall unpleasantness of my experience.CVS (Pharmacy) should seriously consider having corporate representatives show up and implement inservices for their Pharmacy staff.This behavior is unacceptable, and it's not the first time I've encountered issues at this pharmacy. Addressing these concerns through training and awareness is crucial to improving the overall experience for customers and enhancing the pharmacy's reputation.

I had a terrible experience at CVS pharmacy in Coram with a pharmacist in her 50’s Amy. She yelled at me because my insurance was coming up inactive, told me to call the insurance, so I called and came back explaining that it was active and wanted to give her a reference number, but she turned her back on me and said that she’s “walking away” and other racist comments and denied to help me. Another young pharmacist that was not very friendly was able to help me, but it was a very traumatic situation since I was sick as a dog and waiting for 2 hours for someone to help me.

Received a text that my medication was out of stock and to check status in a couple of days. Checked status on website 4 days later and it stated medication was on hold. Was instructed to call pharmacy. Was on hold for over an hour, no response from pharmacy. Called the 800 number that was in the text. The customer representative tried to get in touch with pharmacy, without success. The representative left a voice mail with my contact information with the pharmacy; 5 hours later, no response from pharmacy. I'm not happy.

Twice in the last 2 weeks my Dr has sent prescriptions to this location they were not ready or out of stock. was told I would receive a text or call been waiting 2 days for my Antibiotics.

By far the absolute worst!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. They never answer their phones and they won't fill a prescription without speaking to a pharmacist. And after going there and waiting for a half hour on line just to ask them to fill your prescription then wait another hour for them to fill it. I have to find a new pharmacy.

I’m surprised at the other bad reviews about the pharmacy, but praising the store staff. My experience is exactly the opposite. I hate using self-checkout, but tonight I wasn’t given a choice. Since I needed to pay by credit card, I was FORCED to use the self-checkout. When I was ask how I planned to pay and replied that I would be using a card, the lazy piece of garbage working at the register, didn’t reply with words. She pointed to the self-checkout machine, while she rudely went back to texting on her phone. Now there were other things that annoyed me about this trip to this store, like under-stocked shelves and the lack of employees available to answer questions. Although, I have to wonder if CVS is seriously paying this kid $14.00 an hour to point to a machine?

disgusting customer service ,, I hate coming here but this the only pharmacy near me ! Older lady with blonde hair and glasses, giving nasty attitude and before she tried to charge me I asked if she needed to see my insurance and she said no and then tried to charge me $20 I looked at her and said this is why I asked if you needed to see my insurance card . I gave it to her and then she told me to wait 10 minutes and I asked do I wait here she said you can’t hold up the line .. this prescription been in for a week now and they still don’t have it ready .. great way to waste someone’s time , very ridiculous

0 stars. Bad idea to change my prescriptions to this cvs. Every time I come here there’s some issue. Incorrect pill counts, text me all day that prescription is ready but when I get there it’s not and now today the inside “gate” blocking the pharmacy counter is broken so it’s been 25 minutes sitting on the drive thru line hasn’t moved. Traffic wrapped around the entire parking lot. What an embarrassment. I’m surprised though they haven’t come out to tell me self check out is open. This place is garbage.

Absolute worst place for anything. The drive up is always closed and never enough people working. The attitude of the guy with the long hair is ridiculous and their manager in the pharmacy won’t speak to anyone. Cvs pharmacy, customer service number, and executive team should be embarrassed and terminated bc they are awful.- another terrible experience with pharmacy. Went multiple days after my dr called in a necessary medication and they say they never got the request. While at my dr office we call get hung up on, get transferred to voicemail after requesting to speak to a manager. This place needs to be held accountable they are awful.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to! There’s never a good time to go there, the line is guaranteed to be down the aisle & while they have a lot of staff there are never more than 2 ppl on the register so you’re wait time for prescriptions is RIDICULOUS!

This is the worst pharmacy in New York. No one ever picks up the phone. I am a physician and i have to call in medicines for my patients all the time. I was on hold 20 min and no one answered during business hours. Hung up and called again and waited another 15 min and still no answer. This happens every time i call, and only at this pharmacy. I call many pharmacies everyday, and never had this issue anywhere else. I think others agree, given the low ratings of this pharmacy. Whoever is in charge of this pharmacy should be re-evaluated to see if they are fit to manage it properly.

I can never get the pharmacy on the phone and the local CVS pharmacies cannot handle Specialty prescriptions, I have never been able to renew my insulin from them only via mail specialty

Worst pharmacy to call… people are sick and calling to pharmacy because they got text about insurance and i wanted to call before i head over but the wait to talk to the pharmacist was 45 minutes m… can you believe that… RIDICULOUS

This is the worst cvs in this area i walked in for a quick pick up of shampoo was there less then 5 mins i checked out at the machine asked for 20$ back now i walked out not even 30 seconds and back in asked the two girls hey i asked for money back and didn’t grab it told them it was 20$ the manager looked at the other girl and throws it at me and i said how dare you it is my money and she said i had to ask for it i called her a thief there’s no way ill have a person Like This working on my shift or company she was upset i walked back in anywho writing corporate now because if she can steal from customers she is definitely stealing from her job!!!!

I always have problems with the pharmacy - slow service, little consideration for those who are obviously there for medical reasons. Tonight I was told that I couldn’t get Claritin-D because I had to sign for it - I understood that, but why wasn’t something given to me to sign since I was in the drive-through rather than being told I needed to sign the in-door pin pad??? I wasn’t feeling well and did not feel comfortable walking through the store (since the pharmacy is at the very back). Plus I have gotten this through the drive-through other times. Makes no sense at all - is this a new policy or just this person at CVS giving me a hard time? I’m older, have asthma and back problems - these kind of games are unacceptable!

Allow me to leave another truthful 1 star review. And I work at CVS so with the new prescription vending machine you would think things would be a lot easier. But I guess when you are the only pharmacy in town you don't have to provide service. As stated previously all1 star reviews are true.

This Pharmacy has gone downhill.Call and stay on hold for hours. They shut the phone off regardless of having customers on hold for lunch.Prescriptions are always a nightmare. Last week 1/3 of my order was on old insurance. 1/3 on cash. 1/3 filled on new insurance. No one realized this until I asked them to break down the price and requested to run through the right insurance.Been in store, in drive thru and on phone with the pharmacy and their answer is to come in another day, call back or drive though again to sort out issues of duplicate fills of prescriptions and fills of prescriptions not requested (old archives).It’s like all of the staff is in la la land or just flat out doesn’t want to try to help.Prescriptions are a matter of life and death for some people.Do better.

The worker at the pharmacy that helped us was extremely rude. Her name on the receipt is Caitlin. My mom just got out of surgery and we were there to pick up some prescriptions that the doctor called in. I stated what we were there for and she ignored me several times and asked if my mom was on some antibiotic - we didn’t recognize the name and weren’t aware that the doctor called it in so we were unsure. I said I don’t know, we are just here to pick up these 2 and she said “I get that but can you help me out here and answer my question” my mom goes I just got out of surgery and then I said just give us what is there then, and asked again about the 2 we were there to pick up she said very nastily, yes I have that. She didn’t even tell my mom to feel better after hearing she was just out of surgery! Then she threw the stuff in the bin without even a have a nice day, or any type of goodbye. Unbelievably rude! It is noted that this occurred a little after 2pm right after their lunch break when they were closed 1:30-2. I don’t know why this woman was so nasty to us! Makes me not want to return to this location.

Nasty attitude older lady from pharmacy register. She never check back properly. Everytime I go to her she is troubler. I go after 1 day since my doctor sent med but this old lady said I have to wait 30 minutes because its not ready. I mean really? After 24 hrs med is still not ready? HR department should take care of it. Also she is not deserve to work this place.

Awhile ago, I was there and the guy said in front of others what my medication was for, which violates HIPAA laws. No idea why he volunteered that information since I already knew what the medication was and what it was for. The next list of problems all happened in one day. It is also why my family and I are switching pharmacies:1. Sent us home with the wrong prescription, so we had to go back.2. Was kept on hold for 15 minutes and still no one answered the phone.2. Didn’t contact us when there was an issue with a prescription. When asked why they made excuses.3. Couldn’t figure out how to correctly put the prescription through insurance and we almost had to pay over $400 out of pocket until *WE* figured out how to do their jobs and put it through correctly.4. After we fixed their mistake, we had to wait 30 minutes for them to get the prescription ready even though I was told it would be ready the day before.5. When I complained, I was told that they have SEVERAL issues throughout EVERY SINGLE DAY and they can only fix so many. Was told they fill several hundred prescriptions each day and they don’t have enough people to fill them all. So basically, these issues are going to keep happening. They are overworked and understaffed and that causes incompetence.DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS WITH YOUR IMPORTANT MEDICATIONS!!!!!!

Terrible. All 1 star reviews are accurate. After a year of long waits on phones, store lines, drive thru lines, prescriptions out of stock for over a week, rude staff, and so much more, I'm ridding myself of them and going somewhere else. They just don't care to fix this long existing problem.

This is a life & death healthcare provider but you wouldn’t think so based on how they run this facility. To say there is no consistency & professionalism is an under statement. They LIE & don’t care that Their actions could cost a person’s life. No company can operate perfectly every day but this company is consistent in operating nonchalantly every day But there is one thing I promise they are good at & it’s sending a timely bill every month regardless of their poor quality of svcs performed
